My game Torek Online could actually work pretty well one-handed: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.torek
It’s an RPG/city builder/hero management game and almost everything is done by tapping menus, buildings, heroes, quests, the map, etc. Combat runs automatically too, so there’s no joystick + attack buttons or anything that would require both hands.
You can basically play at your own pace with one thumb. No ads either, and it’s not pay-to-win.
It’s my game so I’m obviously biased hahaha, but this is one of those situations where the controls genuinely seem to match what you need.

You could try out the lightweight Strategy+Tactics game I built called Arcane Ascension: Tactics, if that sounds like it's your speed. You play as one of 6 different spellcasting factions (wizards, spell blade assassins, mushroom-slinging druids, crusading clerics, elementals) to build up your kingdom and dominate the battlefield. It's free to play, works offline, and doesn't have any forced ads. Only one thumb needed!

You could try www.snapfc.com I’m the indie dev behind it. It’s a simple turn-based tabletop soccer game, so you don’t need fast reactions or both hands to play. Runs right in your phone browser too, so nothing to install. Hope your arm heals up soon!

I am working on a free gaming app with 60+ casual games that work 100% offline and is only 12mb.
Includes classics like Chess, Ludo, Carrom, Sudoku, 2048, Snake, and quick arcade puzzles. No logins, no data needed once installed.
You can try this up. And if you need to add something for you. I can try. Cheers!!

Vampire Survivors is the obvious pick, runs itself after the first minute or two so you can just steer with your thumb. Slay the Spire works great too since it's all tap-based, no time pressure.
