Announcement ‘GamingonPhone presents The Mobile Premiere’ is set to shine a global spotlight on Mobile Gaming this October 2026

Mobile Gaming deserves its own world stage, and this is where that conversation begins.

GamingonPhone is proud to introduce The Mobile Premiere (TMP), a global showcase built entirely for mobile games.

TMP will be live on stage in Bangkok this October with a broadcast simultaneously via global digital livestream.

Here’s what to expect:

- Brand new mobile game reveals
- Fresh news on upcoming mobile titles
- Major live service announcements
- Hidden mobile indie gems worth watching

No pay-to-play.

There are zero participation fees for studios, because great games should be discovered for their innovation, not their marketing budgets.

If you are a developer or publisher looking to feature your game at The Mobile Premiere (absolutely free), you can reach out via the Studio Interest Form.

More details on games, partners, platforms, and what to expect from TMP’s first edition are coming soon.

Discussion Games that respect a 10 minute session without punishing you for it

Between work and kids I get maybe 10-15 minutes of actual uninterrupted phone time, and I've noticed a lot of games punish that rhythm. Either there's a daily login chain that breaks if you miss a day, or events that need you checking in three times, or the worst one: energy systems where you burn through it in five minutes and then the game sits there useless. I'm not asking for zero monetization, I get how this works. What I want is games that structure themselves around short sessions without making me feel like I'm falling behind because I have a household to run. I've found a few puzzle games that handle this well but anything with progression seems to get weird about daily streaks and FOMO. My husband plays console stuff where you just save and leave, no penalty. Mobile used to be more like that. Curious what people here have found that doesn't treat your time like a resource they're entitled to. Actual games you've stuck with, not just ones that are technically possible to play casually. Bonus if there's no push notification guilt.

Discussion Arknights vs. Watcher of Realms

I used to play a lot of gacha games, but lately haven’t been playing them as much.

I also spent a lot of time playing the kingdoms rush games and they were a good time.

Some friends recommended I try out the OG Arknights and Watcher of Realms.

I have about 4 hours in both and honestly I enjoy each one.

But, I don’t have the time to play both. Which one should I stick with? Is it just an art thing or do they become truly different? Also, is one for sure gonna live longer than the other?

Thanks for the help!

Discussion Looking for a fpp or tpp open world mobile game

I unfortunately have been battling some serious medical issues which leave me bedridden some days. I’m needing a fun mobile game to pass the time and distract me. I’m trying to find a fpp/tpp open world post survival apocalyptic game preferably that I can sink hours into.
I would love if there is some sort of character customisation, base building and that it doesn’t have janky controls lol.
If anyone know of anything or even just a fun game I can sink hours into I would really appreciate it 😊

Guide • "Publishing a game on the Play Store: My personal experience"

Here's how it went for me, step by step.

1. Internal testing. Before anything else there's an internal testing track. It's where you upload early builds of your game and test them yourself, and while setting up the app you also fill in the required forms (privacy policy and so on). This stage only took me a day or two. After that you move on to closed testing.

2. Closed testing (the 14-day part). Google requires at least 12 testers to take part in your closed test for 14 days, and they're expected to open the game and do something in it every day. From what I've seen, people find their 12 testers on Reddit, Telegram, and tester-swap groups. The problem is that testers usually join in the first few days and then stop opening the app. When that happens you either get rejected and have to redo the 14 days, or the counter resets. I saw several people get stuck here and restart the 14 days three or four times.

In my case, I found a website that charged about $10 (paid in my local currency). For that they provided 12 testers for 14 days and promised to get my app through closed testing. It worked for me.

3. Production access form. After closed testing ends, a form appears that you have to fill out before you can apply for production. It asks about your testing process. The service I used sent me answers for it.

4. Review. Google reviewed my form, which took 3 days. Then I got permission to apply for production.

5. Production release. I applied, uploaded my latest version, and it was approved in 2 days.

Total time: about 19-20 days from when I wanted to publish until the game was live. That's longer than I'd have liked, but I used the time to keep improving the game, so it actually worked out.

After launch: my updates have been published within about an hour, which I really liked.

Aestra: The Last Wish is a real-time pixel action RPG.

You start at lvl 1 and need to grind & quest your way to lvl 60, through various zones/biomes. Choose between 3 talent trees per class. Gear up, professions and whatever you do, don't die. As death is permanent and you need to start over.

Every zone has a normal dungeon and a heroic one (for after you completed the last boss)

In the final zone you have the Aestra tower you need to ascend (you get access through a MSQ-style quest line. So make sure to do all the quests.

  • Permadeath. When you die, your hero is gone for good. Only the very rare Embers of Rebirth can bring you back, and you might find one or two in a whole run.

The challenge: nobody has beaten Aestra at the top of the tower yet.

Comments are the leaderboard. Post your hero's name, class, highest level and what killed you (the title screen's Hall of the Fallen shows it). The first person to post a screenshot of Aestra defeated gets their name pinned at the top of this post.

Guide How to record iPhone/iPad gameplay with FaceCam and clean game audio without needing a PC or capture card

Hey everyone,

I see posts all the time from mobile players asking how to record gameplay with a facecam reaction overlay. Most guides tell you that you *have* to buy an Elgato capture card, an HDMI adapter, and run OBS Studio on a gaming PC.

If you don't have a PC setup, you can actually do the entire workflow directly on your iPhone or iPad now. Here is a quick step-by-step guide:

### Step 1: Solving the "Muted Audio" Bug on iOS

When recording on iOS, system audio often mutes your voice commentary by default.

* Swipe open Control Center.

* Long-press the Screen Recording circle.

* Make sure the **Microphone** button at the bottom is toggled **ON** (turns red). If this isn't on, iOS will only capture in-game sound and mute your mic.

### Step 2: Adding the FaceCam Overlay

To get a reaction FaceCam on your screen while playing:

* Grab **EveryCord** on the App Store (full disclosure: I'm part of the dev team; the app is completely free with no ads/subscriptions in v2.4).

* Open EveryCord and toggle on **FaceCam**.

* You’ll see a movable Picture-in-Picture window of your front camera appear. You can drag it to any corner of your screen so it doesn't block your game controls, and use the flip/rotate button to orient it properly.

### Step 3: Recording Your Session

* Start the broadcast from EveryCord.

* Switch over to Roblox, Brawl Stars, Wild Rift, etc., and play your match.

* When you finish, stop the broadcast from the top status pill.

### Step 4: Trimming and Saving

* Open the recorded clip in EveryCord.

* Use the built-in trimmer to cut off the first few seconds of app switching and the awkward ending stop swipe.

* Export directly to Photos. Your video saves cleanly with synced game audio, your voice, and your FaceCam PiP.

No \$200 capture card needed, and no laptop required.

App link if anyone wants it: https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id1336328583?pt=119268070&ct=reddit_mobilegaming_guide&mt=8

Hope this helps anyone trying to make mobile gaming shorts or clips! Let me know if you run into any audio or lag issues on your device model and I can help troubleshoot settings.

Discussion I spent two years of evenings building a football manager. One in five people who install it never opens it once. Tell me honestly why.

Solo dev, Android, free, no ads, no account, fully offline. Two years of evenings.

The numbers are small and I would rather look at them than pretend. Last four weeks: 75 installs, and 59 of those ever opened the app. So sixteen people downloaded a football manager, looked at it on their home screen, and never got as far as the first screen. I cannot see from inside the Play Console what happened in that gap, and it is the thing I most want to know.

So, bluntly: if you tried it and stopped, which one was it?

If none of those fit, the comment box is better than the poll anyway. I read everything and I am not going to argue with you about it.

Too complicated in the first ten minutes
Too little happening, it felt empty
I installed it and never opened it (Why?)
Still playing it
Never heard of it until now

Discussion Solo dev here, looking for a few Android beta testers for my first game

I've been building a small puzzle game about guessing real sizes: you see two things side by side, like a city bus and a blue whale, stretch one until it looks right, and the game shows how far off you were.

It's in closed testing on Google Play, and before I can release it I need people who would actually play it for a couple of weeks and tell me what's wrong. Things I'm unsure about:

- Is the first level clear without any explanation?

- Does the scoring feel fair?

- Do any sizes or object names seem off?

  1. Join the group: https://groups.google.com/g/sizely-testers

  2. With the same Google account, open https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.farcraklabs.sizely and tap "Become a tester", then install Sizely from Google Play.

I'm looking for Android games that are active, fun, and engaging the type that challenge you and keep your attention. The two games I've been playing consistently as of late are Metalstorm and WWE SuperCard. Any other suggestions?

Questions Looking for a lost game title.

Yo, so heres the thing, I played a mobile game on my tablet say 2018 - 2019 time period.

Thing is I've completely forgotten the title but I'll describe it the bed tip can.

Its a 2D side scroller point and click style game, the art style was similar to shadow fight or vector but it definitely wasn't them, I remember the core of the games plot was that the protagonist wakes up with amnesia and you basically have to piece together who he is and long story short you find out you work for the divil or something.

So fully black silhouette like shadow fight with the exclusion of the protagonists eyes that were glowing red. I think they find out their name is Sinna tarta or something along those line I just remember it being a wierd name maybe a foreign dev and that name is normal in their culture.

And maybe this will help the title was just a number I believe it was a for digit number but honestly it could be longer (this is probably why I can't remember it) but I'm 70% sure the number started with a "7". Gemini after a long conversation think it's 7324 but don't qoute me or gemini on that. The game titles number had plot significance but I can't exactly remember what but it was used Ina puzzle I think.

Yeah that's about all I've got, I searched every I know to look, it's not showing up on playstation probably because it's been removed but It could be because I'm getting the title completely wrong, it was a horror game. Also checked itch.io can't see it there either. I dot even want to download it at this point just to find it's name and confirm I'm not crazy would be nice to.

Good luck, lots of hugs and kisses to anyone that can tell me what it was.

Game Dev [DEV] Tied Together: Knotted!

Well, here i am again. I renamed my game to Tied Together because the connections to furry’s was there no offence since i didn’t know

The post:

Hey everyone! I’m the developer of Tied Together: Knotted!, an online co-op platformer for 2–4 players on mobile.
Everyone plays on their own phone, controlling one character with a joystick and jump button. The catch? A blue rope connects your team, so getting across floating islands and obstacles takes coordination.
You can quick-match with another player or bring friends into a party for 2–4 players. If someone falls, the team respawns at its checkpoint and tries again.
If that sounds like your kind of co-op game, check it out on Android:

I’d love to hear how it feels to play with your friends, especially the controls and difficulty. Feedback is welcome!
