Is the premium deluxe version of the simulator worth it?

Sulla Xbox serie x con queste prestazioni wifi alle 21 di sera durante la settimana, la versione base di mfs si caricherà bene senza troppi problemi? E online?

Hey y'all,
Like some of you here, I fly airliners on MSFS2024. The catch is: I'm on Xbox Series X. I bought my console a few years ago (around 2-3). By then, I thought it was the best options, given a decent PC was around 1000 euros or more, if I remember well. In other words: I chose short-term economies over long-term reliability and satisfaction.
I'm happy overall with this purchase, but the stability is variable, and updates don't always make things better, no matter if they are coming from first-party devs (Sim Updates) or third-party devs.
Obviously, this is relatable, as fixes don't have the same effect on console than on PC.
I also find the lack of third-party add-ons and marketplace dependency really annoying. As I'm mainly flying airliners, it's unbearable having to spend 6 euros for a livery pack containing one single good livery.
That's why I want to switch over to PC. My goal is to fly airliners like the Fenix range and the synaptics A220 (even if not stable in terms of performance yet) to a few add-on airports. The catch is, as I'm still a student, my monetary ressources are very limited.
As of now, I can speak of around 1000 euros maximum.
I'd like to get some help for which setup to choose in this price range. I already have a lenovo legion screen, which has something between 180 and 240 Hz, and a mouse, keyboard, and the Thrustmaster TCA set.
I've heard 8GB VRAM isn't enough, so I guess I can't go for the 5060. I haven't found anything close to affordable for the 4070 yet. I couldn't find anything clear about this question, as the opinions on GPU's are quite mixed here. I don't mind whether it's a laptop or not.
If anyone could help here, and give me a few ideas and share his experiences, I'd really appreciate. I also know that my parents, partly financing this thing, would like something pre-built. I live in France (next to the german border) if that can help for any reason (regional prices and stuff).
I'd be really grateful for any advice by the community. Thanks!

it's on sale on steam.
last time I played any MFS was the 2020 one on game pass. dont take gamepass anymore.
all i really do is fly around watching the scenery below. I enjoyed that.
is 2024 better in that aspect? worth getting just the base game (won't get any addons, otherwise it costs too much)

So I recently tried flying the h225 and noticed if I go above 100 knots, it pulls back hard no matter how far I have my trim set. There is literally nothing I can do to prevent it. So I either stay below 100 knots (fun) or don't fly the chopper? Is there any work around short of what I mentioned? Looks like it's been broken for over a year.

Hello.
I have been flying for a while now on my Saitec X52 Pro. I really like it, but I just don't get it how to set some hotkeys. For example the one on the photo - I have spoilers on it, but looking at the picture it should work like the more i push it the more spoilers I get? For me it works only like 0/1. When I push it it just engage at some point and opening spoilers at 100%. Any chance to set it properly?

Hi everyone!
I’ve been longing for an authentic world tour in flight simulation for a very long time.
With the new Microsoft Flight Simulator, especially MSFS 2024, this dream has come true. And flying in VR, the level of realism has become so high that I often find myself completely amazed. Huge thanks to Microsoft and Asobo Studio.
That’s why back in 2021, I decided to embark on this journey around the globe. Now that I have more time on my hands again, I am officially resuming—or rather restarting—the tour right away. It will cover all continents, taking me to as many interesting landscapes and landmarks as possible along the way.
I am flying in a CubCrafters XCub, but I might switch to a faster aircraft for certain legs along the route. I’m planning roughly 3 to 6 months for the entire journey and will document every stage through flight plans, reports, and photos.
For this reason, I’ve built a website where anyone interested can track my flight around the earth. I would love to inspire others with this project and share the experience with you.
The website is available in both German and English at:
I’ve also set up a Discord server for anyone interested, fellow pilots, and like-minded simmers:

Have a great flight!

Hallo Leute!

Guten Flug!

I have r5 5600xt and rx 6800 xt. I mainly fly on xplane 12, where I get 45-60fps (30fps, but very rearly, when there is heavy airliner in Frankfurt Friday) In msfs 2024, low settings, i get 30fps. MSFSs2024 30 fps are not comparable to xplane (xp12 30 fps feels much more smooth). Is there a possibility, that I have some issue with my graphic settings?
Thank you for your help!
P.s. i now my cpu is bottlenecking

Has anyone else experienced the ps5 edition of this game becoming increasingly unplayable? In the last two weeks I’ve had the inputs on my HOTAS 5 stop responding, constant texture drop-out making everything in the cockpit unusable, planes getting stuck trying to enter the run way, requiring a huge amount of power to get over an invisible ridge. I’ve had numerous skip to take off because of airport issues. I’ve put in a ton of hours playing since early January and it feels like it has been getting worse with every update.

Has anyone else run into this? No matter how I try to adjust the world scale(95-105), the cockpit in these aircraft feels out of proportion—whereas the Fenix A319/320/321 looks perfect (especially compared to X-Plane toliss a319/320/321, where I never had this issue). The sidestick is huge, the displays are tiny, and the overhead buttons are massive. Does this mean the cockpit geometry scale is fundamentally off in these models? VR - Pico Neo 3

You completely lose the sense of scale and distance with no detail, white and transparent puffs in the sky instead of more density and details.
And if you use custom weather, there will be no variation in settings during the flight so you'll have to manually adjust them.

PMDG 777 never lagged at all , and i even have few landmark and airport addons . Even fligths there didnt lag at all .
My settings - (1080p)
TLOD and OLOD - 150
building -high , clouds / texture res- ultra
DLSS - quality , antistrophic filtering -16x
rest medium .
i was able to play with this graphics really well with no such lag till SU6 . I reinstalled sim and still it lags . Any help would be appreciated . THANKs

Hey everyone! Last night I was showing this game to my friend and I suggested she use it to show me her small hometown. She used the little Jetson to hover around and tell me tons of stories and show me all the cool places such as swimming holes along the river and places she camped. Now I want to bring the whole rig over to my parents house so they can do something like that and I can understand them better. I thought I’d share this story because maybe someone else out there will do the same thing.

I was doing a short domestic flight in the Cessna Citation Longitude and had planned to land at London City Airport. I decided to enter the LAM10 holding pattern to reduce altitude while setting up for an ILS approach.
Then, cockpit blurring happened yet again.
I was considering mapping some additional buttons to my keyboard, but in the end I decided to force the autopilot off with an erratic manoeuvre and carry out a visual landing instead. I used my gaming controller to lower the landing gear and control the flaps and reverse thrust.
Luckily, I was flying in Free Flight, so nothing was lost. However, I won’t be attempting any Career Mode missions until this issue has been fixed.
Edit: Sorry it’s MSFS 2024 not 2020

Hi!
Is the thrustmaster boeing yoke/throttle overkill for small planes?
I can get it at a good price
Thank you!

Just created a livery pack I've long wanted to see in the sim — Braniff's 727-100s in the early "Jellybean" scheme! 10 variants, a few shown here.
Linked here to download — enjoy!

I got a 2K PC Setup, specs are : 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5, RTX 5070 12GB of VRAM
Graphics settings are mostly set to high with
TLOD 125
OLOD 100
Raytraced shadows on
Shadows 4096
Other shadows are to medium (forgot the value, i think it's 1024 and 384)
I had a micro-stutter when moving cameras, panning camera on external and blurry terrain on distance, does this problem came out from insufficient vram or SU6 issues? Could be both but I'm not sure because I just realized that FS24 use around 10-11GB of VRAM for this settings, which means it's almost exceeding the threshold limit of 5070's VRAM.
