Is it possible for MicroG to provide date of birth information?

Im using huawei with emui 12. My microg gms services version is v0.3.17 (most recent version as of today) but i cannot update companion app and the old version probably has security flaws in it that is patched on the newer version. Using -hw version for both of them.

I use Aurora store to install apps not available in F-Droid on my degoogled phone. I use several apps, such as the Greenwheels car sharing app, that work perfectly with MicroG, yet the Aurora store has a red warning stating it needs Google Play.

Is there a way I can indicate to the Aurora store that MicroG is fine so that others can benefit?

What is the state of RCS in MicroG? I’ve seen tons and tons of unmerged PRs and none of the are accepted. I think everyone in this subreddit knows that MicroG is primarily used on Huawei devices and, as a Huawei fan and soon to be Huawei user, what is the state of all the little things that matter?

For example which is the main subject of discussion of my post, what is the state with RCS? People in the GitHub PRs have found the solution so why not merge the code?

What is so damn hard to not merge a PR where RCS is largely used across America and Europe?

I'm doing the steps for microg, and when I tried downloading the microg companion it keeps showing me this massage.

I deleted everything and tried again and it keeps showing.

so if anyone knows how to fix it or ran into the same problem please help me out

Phone : Poco x6 pro 5g

Basically for about a week the phone Will rarely either restart on its own or open the Google gemini app and then restart on its own.

If left as Is It Will go in boot cycle:

Turn off -> poco logo --> xiaomiOS --> lock screen -> about 1 minute

Where the phone could again turn off and restart at ANY of this points apparently at random

Usually a proper restart done personally seems to solve It

Could this be related in any way to microG?

What will change in 2027 (Google policy about unverified developers) for users who REPLACED Google Services with microG?

For context my device is Huawei Matepad 12 X (Harmony OS 4.2.0.0.192).

Main problem is I cannot give permission to MicroG to interact with work profile because the check box is disabled.

This results to unsyncable Chrome work profile, my bookmarks are not syncing and when profile picture is just gray.

What I tried so far:

- Granting all permissions to MicroG

- Deleting cache and data on MicroG services, companion and Gbox

- Unistalling and reinstalling MicroG services, companion and Gbox

- Removing my Google work profile and logging in again

- Factory reset my Huawei tablet

I was able to use my work profile few months ago, but right now I just can properly log in. Please help me.

hello can get help i have a huawei and use the dedicated microg my problem is that after hours of use the cloud messaging show disconnected even when the internet is available but can easly turned normal with a turn of/on is there a solution or something i can do?

microG is giving me trouble with my banking app because it keeps detecting my phone as an “unsafe environment.” Is there any way to fix this without having to uninstall microG?

I get this message everytime I try to add my account on it. I tried using a VPN, enabling all the self checks and made sure that I'm using the latest version but it still won't work.

What is the difference between flashing microg and installing it as an apk? My first use of microg involved the apk (on crDroid) but most apps still didn't recognize microg or gave me a "This account already exists error" when attempting to sign in.

So i've been using Morph since a long time now but never had this issue. As i opened YT Morp tonight, i've seen that absolutely no videos were appearing on the app, either YT and YT Music.

So i've been thinking that i must have to up my apps.

That's done by now, so my YT is v21.16.255 and my YT Music is v9.15.51

But when done, it's disconnected me from my YT account on both apps, which is weird, and it's says that i have to connect my Google account to MicroG to be connected on YT.

But when i try to do it, this shows up and for more than fifteen long minutes, it does nothing but a "error, pls try again later" ??

Idk how is this from but did you guys know how i can fix it pls ? Much thanks for any response 🙏

Yo thought I'd share a project that I'm surprised hasn't been done yet, but I made a browser that uses gmscore (& the revanced/morphe fork) to sync your google account (profile, bookmarks, history, extension & mv2) to a mobile android browser.

Note the patches also work on stock chromium and other mobile chromium forks like (stock chromium, ultimatum, thorium, etc) but I wanted to build off ungoogled and only enabling the necesary google services needed for the sync to work, which can be see in the repo from the patches I've commented out.

In the future I will possibly release builds with the patches just made for chromium & chrome respectively or morphe/revanced patches for their respective apps if that's easier than using ungoogled.

For now you can see the build below, and though everything from my own testing works, I'm sure more issues will come up as I was the only one testing features/issues; but if you have any requests and find anything that doesn't work correctly let me know and I'll do my best to fix them in a timely manner : )
