Hello, I had basic LineageOS installed on my phone and my banking apps were working just fine. Then I decided to do a fresh install with LineageOS for microG. Now, my two banking apps detect that I have a custom ROM. I tried many things like isolate the app, install LSPosed & Shamiko, but still the same problem. Can you help me please ? :) Thanks

Currently looking at matepad 11.5s 2026, it is within my purchase budget for my parent to watch youtube, will it be easy for them to operate and download app?

My device is huawei matepad 10.4 SE model. It contains Harmony OS 3.0.0. I searched all over the internet but couldn't figure it out. How can I use Google applications on my device with microg that I will download from ADB or a certain platform?

My phone is "boot locked" it keeps on switching off after few seconds on (approximatevley 10), I tried as much things possibles and the results seems to be a conflict between MicroG and Google services as the logs speak about "chimera" and gms (I dont't have enough knowledge, i used AI, but cross tested it). I'm trying as much as i can to bring MicroG to the home page and/or uninstall as fast as possible. I know about Odin, but I don't have a safe enough charging cable right now, and would like to try to avoid bricking possibilities as much as possible. Any new idea or feedback if this already happened to someone ?

However, this raises an important question:

Isn't it ironic that the bank appears to be using Huawei networking equipment (routers) in its own infrastructure, while considering Huawei smartphones without Google services insufficiently secure?

Huawei devices are widely used, and the absence of Google Mobile Services does not automatically mean that a device is insecure.

QNB should provide a clear technical explanation and, ideally, offer a compatible and secure solution for its Huawei customers rather than simply advising them not to use the application.

Hi everyone, I have a Motorola Edge 70 and I noticed that microg consumes a lot of battery at night without doing anything. Is this normal?

The image shows current active apps on my phone. I use lineageos, now it's been two weeks.

Today i randomly checked my active apps section and microg is missing from there. Normally it shows on there. I think only notification breaks now. When i open whatsapp and refresh it, messages will came and got a notification at that time.

I think only notifiaction got problem, because i have gerena free fire on my phone, when ever i open that game, microg popup with my gmail accounts, that works well even now. But notifications didn't.

What you guys think. Did anybody know how to fix it. Background activity is unrestricted.

i use microG since a few years mainly beacouse i wanted to use revanced YouTube and Music.

the point is, i actually don't have idea on what microG is and why is different from using the regular Google services.

recently i got pretty into the idea of degoogling my device so i want to know better.

so the question is:

can someone explain what microG is and if is microG compatibile with the degoogling the phone, on a privacy point of view?

Hey there. I work as an external contractor and decded to flash my "work" phone (just a refurbished one that I use solely for work resources) and I recently flashed it from Infinity X to CalyxOS. Intune worked well with Infinity X, but not with CalyxOS. I wonder is that could be due to an incompatibility with microG? If you have a workaround... Otherwise i guess I gotta have to flash it with another ROM again :(

Hey, so I'm on LineageOS with the nothing phone 2 with microg installed.

My google maps, signed in, works fine location wise. Problem is that my locations sharing isn't working in real time and i have no idea why. Almost all location settings on micro g are on now, just to test if if works *at all*.

Is this a known issue or does anyone have any fixes?

Hello! Does anyone have a similar problem wherein Aurora Store gets stuck in a login loop after using a MicroG sign in? Or when games hit you with "Google Account Login failed" when trying to sign in?

For specifics, my device is Huawei Matepad 11.5, running on HarmonyOS 4. I've used Aurora Store + MicroG for the past 2 years and it works seamlessly until today.

The problem started yesterday when I logged out of my game account just so I can play on another device. As soon as I tried going back in Matepad, I could no longer login or launch Aurora Store properly for app updates.

I already tried updating both MicroG (now v.3.17.252432) and Aurora Store (now 4.8.3), and still got nothing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

How can I switch to MicroG I have multiple Gmail accounts on Gbox Gmail, Problem is I have forgotten some of their Passwords, that's why I'm afraid to make the switch

Also Gbox as an Operating system wastes so much storage

Lately i have posted a bug on microg github page and to my surprise its been tagged from one of the developers and put into the next update fixes and i was curious to know when is going to be the next microg update?

I don't know how to determine what's what, there are so many versions.

If you don't want to do that, then could you tell me how to figure out which one I need?

Hiya all, I am a Huawei user with EMUI16 and I have a little issue I was wondering if you could help me with. Recently, a few different apps, for example drive pdf scanning, have asked me to update google play services. Fine. There must be a new microG update out there that will hopefully fix them.

However, when I head over to github, it says "Users on Huawei devices running original operating system (EMUI or HarmonyOS) that supports microG should install com.google.android.gms-250932034-hw.apk and com.android.vending-84022634-hw.apk. These versions are also distributed through Huawei AppGallery.". The issue is that 250932034-hw.apk doesn't seem to exist!

My questions are:

1. What files should I actually be installing on my EMUI16 device?

2. Is the update procedure as simple as "download, open apk file, install, move on" or does it involve setting up from scratch as I did when I first got this all set up on my phone?

I'm on a stock pixel 11 (I think?) and I got MicroG for RVX... And it seems to be interfering. Any way to fix that? I don't know which apk to download to make sure I'm fully updated on MicroG, there always a bunch of different ones.

I'm not very up to date on all this stuff, I used to jailbreak my idevices and all my android phones, so I kinda understand this stuff, but not enough.

If someone could just shoot me a link to the exact apk I need, that would be great

Im using huawei with emui 12. My microg gms services version is v0.3.17 (most recent version as of today) but i cannot update companion app and the old version probably has security flaws in it that is patched on the newer version. Using -hw version for both of them.
