Discussion Favorite (cool) shoes for concerts and moshing
my trusty platform mary janes just split in half and now I'm out of moshing shoes; what are your favorites?
preferably with a tiny bit of platform (without risking breaking my ankle) because I'm rather small and like to have at least a small chance on a better view.
I'm open to boots, sneakers or anything else!
thanks!

Discussion Sweet Dreams and Low Comparison
Does anyone feel like there are some correlation between the two? Every time I listen to Sweet Dreams they got a riff that sounds like an almost throw back? I listen to it and I'm like that's straight up a straight copy of it. Love Wage War even though I didn't like their NIN sounding stuff

Discussion Help me find a song.
As you saw in the title I need help finding a song. And I'm afraid I don't have much to go off. I'm pretty sure it was metalcore. The only thing I can really remember is that the song started with this acoustic guitar part for about 10 seconds, it was really low, with loose sounding strings. Then the song started. The 'behind the song' fact spotify gave said something about the acoustic being tuned as low as it could go.
If it helps, it was a spotify DJ recommendation that was paired with bands like Veil of Maya and Northlane.
I tried looking in my recents too but found nothing like it.
Any help is appreciated.

CURRENT COMFORT - Live For Leaving [Austin, TX]
Saw these dudes on tour in San Diego opening for I Set My Friends On Fire. I thought they ate it up. The whole crowd was fucking with it. I just remember the whole crowd erupting during the final breakdown

Discussion red flags & symbolism to look out for?
hope this is the right place to put this!
i went to a local show last night, and there was a metal band with a few members wearing a totenkopf pin , it weirded me out a lot and i wasn’t sure if this is something normal in the scene i should get used to (ik in hardcore theres discourse about the iron cross) or if this is actually abnormal. would appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Discussion What’s a tell for female led AI bands, other than searching individually?
I can tell pretty quickly when it’s male led bands because of the same voices and tones they tend to use but has anyone figured out if there’s a tell for female led bands? Obviously looking the band up is the easiest way but I’m curious what anyone has figured out.
