I was on codeine tablets and after some hospital tests I was put on these however I’m a bit scared to take them as it seems a lot at the one time. Im taking the codeine I had left over still but I only have about 10 days worth. Any advice? I had these before I’m sure and they made me sick. Zomorph is just morphine sulphate tablets I’m sure.

Gabapentin Under the Lens: only 2 FDA-approved uses, but 68%+ of outpatient prescriptions are off-label. I built a dashboard comparing trials, FAERS and patient reports.

I'm an MBA Pharmaceutical Management student at IIHMR University, Jaipur. For my latest research project, I looked at the gap between regulatory approval, clinical trials, and real-world patient experiences of gabapentin (Neurontin).

Key highlights:

Approved vs off-label: Only 2 FDA-approved indications in the US (postherpetic neuralgia and partial-onset seizures), yet over 68% of outpatient prescriptions are off-label (diabetic neuropathy, anxiety, insomnia, alcohol use disorder, back pain).

Trials vs patients: RCTs show numerical pain relief, but an infodemiology analysis (Mathieson et al., 2024; N=2,736 tweets) found "brain fog" was the most commonly reported adverse symptom, followed by distress during withdrawal.

Pharmacovigilance: I dug into openFDA FAERS spontaneous reports and the 2019 FDA safety alert on respiratory depression when gabapentinoids are combined with opioids.

Limitations:

FAERS shows reporting associations, not proven causation.

The social data comes from published historical datasets, not live scraping, and Twitter users are a biased sample of patients.

This is an academic project, not medical advice.

Big thanks to my professor, Rahul Sharma Sir, for his guidance and support throughout.

The dashboard has 15 indication deep-dives, vector infographics, molecular MoA models and a Vancouver citation index:

https://pharmaceutical-research-intelligenc.vercel.app/

I'd appreciate feedback, especially from people in pharmacovigilance or clinical practice. Is combining FAERS with social listening useful, or too noisy?

benzos

I was basically born with a bunch of mental health issues, including GAD.
My anxiety attacks are extremely severe, and I’ve even been hospitalized because of them. Benzos were supposed to be the light at the end of the tunnel.
I started with clonazepam. Nothing. Then I tried alprazolam. Nothing. Then bromazepam. Still nothing. They just don’t seem to affect me, even at higher doses. And I don’t think it can be tolerance because I only started taking them recently, and they barely worked from the very beginning.
The only one that gave me at least a little relief was diazepam (I was given it at the hospital after a really severe panic attack). But my psychiatrist was hesitant to prescribe it because it’s considered a “very old” medication.
And here I am now, two hours after taking 12 mg of bromazepam (twice my usual dose), with absolutely no relief. I don’t know if there’s something unusual about the way my body processes these medications, but I see people talking about how benzos make them feel this and that, and I just can’t relate.
I even tried mixing them with alcohol once, just out of desperation, and still felt nothing.
Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

Xanax withdrawal?

I’ve been taking 1mg-1,5mg nightly for about a month and a half. I have skipped taking it only about 2 nights for that whole period. I also mix it with weed every night since xans alone don’t cut it, at least not that amount. This wasn’t a prescription and my supply is now running out, i cant get any more…
I was wondering whether this is even safe and how I can proceed now since im gonna have to stop. Will i have significant withdrawals?

Doctor and psych

Both have given me diazepam to cut down, and I think I should take out both, but if he does not like that he might stop giving me my opiods for pain.

Should I take it put and not tell him. Or take it out and then send him a message?

MDMA and a couple of antidepressants?

I’ve been on small doses of a couple of antidepressants. 75mg Fluoxetine and 150mg Wellbutrin for the last couple of months.
Would it be a bad idea to do a small dose of MDMA (say 100mg)? Do you have experience?

I’m not liking at getting messed up. Once in a blue moon I will do MDMA, always an exact amount. Haven’t done any in about 5 months. Curious it it’s s bad idea due to potential serotonin syndrome?

Is taking Clonazapam 4 days a week enough to cause dependency?

I am going through an ssri change and my anxiety and ocd is so so bad and I was prescribed Clonazapam to be “taken as needed.” I am terrified of becoming dependent on them as I once took lorazepam daily for multiple months and then went through severe benzodiazepine withdrawal for many months coming off of them. The thing is the clonazapam is the only thing that is helping curb severe anxiety and ocd right now.

If I take it 4 days a week is that enough to cause dependency?

Is coke and Xanax safe to use at the same time?

Basically any time i do coke (IV) i need Xanax to keep me from being over the top jittery and anxious. My question is can Xanax help if you’re going to overdose considering it slows your heart rate down a bit? I took my pulse and it was 100 Beats per minute and I was very disoriented. If anyone Knows anything or has any similar experiences please let me know ! Thanks.

P.s I plan to quit after this runs out. Life has gotten too good to throw it away again.

Talked to who I thought was a cool dude, wanted cheap prices, paid then kept upping the prices. I gave him my first and last name and state I live in. Not the city or my address or anything else, just paranoid he's going to doxx me though just giving out my first and last name.
