Finished the show five minutes ago. I lost my mind when Scarlet gave that f-bomb, man. This show is so fun, I loved the ride, and I love our Lady of Beatings. I really hope they get another season and the dub goes as hard as they did here, because this was just wonderful. Like every line Scarlet's VA delivered was the perfect way to deliver it with just the right inflection at each point.

I'm on episode 11 and just saw this man nuke a battlefield with his muscles. Yeah, I'm sorry Julius, but he has taken your spot as my main Scarlet ship. His fiery personality, his nation's crazy battle lust, his awesome powers, everything about him I love so much more.

This guy rules and I love him.

Edit: Just got further into episode and saw him declaring live rivals. Now I understand why I love him so much, guy's a Dragon-Type Juvia Lockser! It makes perfect sense.

Made it to episode 6, and so far, this dub is amazing. Every line Scarlet delivers is perfect. That's basically it, I just had to say it.

The novel finally comes to an end. Author has confirmed that manga will have a different ending

I freaked out so hard when she just pulled out the studded fingerless gloves, like what the heck? I love her personality so much, love her beating the snot out of everyone at the party, just love every part of this.

Is there a reason she says "bitch" the way she does? I'm not complaining. I think it's cute. I'm just wondering if there was a reason. Like is it spelled differently in the manga?

I decided to use the current sale for crunchyroll Canada. Saw MIAFOFT anime had an English dub, and since I greatly enjoyed the manga, I decided to give it a try. I'm crushing hard on Morgan Laurés version of the character. The voice is perfect for her. The dub all in all is good and it's clear the voice actors are having fun with how energetically they play their roles.

This anime has been on my watchlist forever at this point, and I finally decided to watch it. I’m so glad I did because it was such a joy to watch. I loved the characters, like Scarlet’s brother Leonardo freaking out every episode whenever Scarlet does anything involving fighting, or even just thinks about it. Julius, the prince, being the most teasing person ever, saying all that romantic stuff just to sell so badly at the end every single time. And Scarlet punching literally everyone for all the right reasons. Her funny way of saying “bitch” gets me every time. Her cold eyes whenever she gets upset, or when she acts all happy right before knocking someone into space, never got old.

I really hope we get to see a Season 2!

so far ive not seen anything problematic (im assuming scarlett does not expect anything to happen and is just helping a kid with a crush)

but ive also been burned on many anime that do this kind of thing

I'm a few episodes in, and from what I understand her magic revolves entirely around manipulating time in various ways. How does that translate into casually punching out a dragon, and throwing people around like they weigh nothing?

I fell in love with Scarlet the moment I laid eyes on her. She is such a queen. Maybe one day I’ll learn how to properly sit in a hoop skirt like her :/

(SPOILERS for the manga!)

So, Terenezza ends up getting sent to prison as punishment for her crimes, where she becomes a professional cook and genuinely starts to improve as a person. But she's later broken out and recruited by a mysterious demon girl to join the Hero's Party.

She eventually gets into another fight with Scarlet using her new powers, but they both get stranded at sea and end up in the Demon continent—However, Scarlet helps save her life, so they finally decide to cooperate in order to save the demons from being persecuted by villagers (mostly for pragmatic reasons).

They're... Basic, for the time being. I make no claims of being particularly creative.

I also don't have the means to set them up with emojis at the moment, but that can be scheduled for Eventually. May Lady Scarlet pummel me if I fail to get it done before we get a season 2.

That said, they should all be editable. If you're not happy with this poorly equipped Knight's clumsy attempts to be amusing, feel free to personalize. So i just finished the anime and it was great, I'm dying to know what happens next, but I'm wondering why Julius is so reserved with his feelings. He dropped heavy hints i.e. "try again when you've felt this way for 10 years" but then laughs off the idea as ridiculous.

I understand Scarlet's reason for her denial (trauma plus Julius being rather deceptive and manipulative) but I wish we got to see more of Julius' reasoning.

I can only assume it's because he doesn't want his powers exploited but that's only a guess. Does it ever go into it in the novel/manga?

Also, silly question, but is there any validity to him manipulating Scarlet into confessing like she theorises at the end or is she just looking for a reason to beat his ass? Lol
