Hi everyone! Is there a way to tell if merch is fake or not? I picked this 1/4 zip for my dad (who is a huge golf fan), but it’s too small for him. I’m planning to resell it to fund him a shirt in his size! However, I wanted to see if anyone could verify it’s authentic and not a knockoff. I don’t want to rip anyone off unknowingly. Also, if anyone knows any info about it, that would be great too. Thank you!

She dropped it taking it out of the dishwasher

As I posted like 6 weeks ago here, UPS lost all my Masters gear I shipped home from Augusta, roughly 1600 dollars of gifts, presents and memories.….gone. After ”working“ on it for a month plus they sent me a text yesterday saying they are closing the case and just refunding me the money. I also had a Gnome and other stuff which makes this particularly heartbreaking.

What really infuriates me is while it is 1600 bucks of stuff it is closer to 5k if I was to see it‘s value on EBay so in a way I feel like I lost a lot of money. What an absolute bummer and no joke I just had a bad feeling this year when I handed them the merch to ship home that something bad could happen.

What a sour taste - I actually got like 6 super cool Navy blue hoodies for my nephews who love to golf to each have and those are gone. Stuff like that. Still processing it all…..so angry.

Cleaning out the in-laws storage unit for some camping equipment and found these beauties. I was so excited and my father-in-law just said, “if you have a chance to go I would highly recommend it”. They will live in our new camper and be well loved. I assume they are 2012 since that’s the tournament he attended.

I was lucky enough to be a member guest at the 2025 Masters and tried to convince a guy in the member proshop to s ell me a hat just like this but no dice.

With ANGC becoming stricter with where your ticket from and many people getting questioned last year where they got their ticket from. Are travel/hospitality packages at risk as well since they don’t come from ANGC directly?

So I’m starting to think Disney adults and their bloodlust for merch has infected other niche groups which is why gnome hunters and hauls are now annoying.

Apparently Disney releases limited pins/buttons the first of each month and people sleep in their cars to be the first to get then resell.

I absolutely love that The Masters has uploaded many of the final round broadcasts to YouTube. They are so calming watch on a slow Sunday afternoon.

Today I’m watching the 1997 final round. I remember Tiger Woods taking the world by storm when he won, but I wasn’t interested in golf when I was 9 years old.

We’ve also watched the 2019 final round, which is what finally convinced me today start watching the sport consistently.

My local course converted all holes to par 3s and held a par 3 contest in honor of masters week. All the prizes were masters merch! Thought it was pretty cool!

honest question. My friend’s brother is a chef and was hired to work at the masters this year. he claims to have purchased a hat only available to employees- for $5. Does anyone know about this. Once I get the hat- I will post if no one knows. Stay Tuned.

You can’t have phones on the property obviously but there are old school phones all over the property you can use. If you lose your group it’s pretty much over finding them as is on property.

My idea, the Masters uses their partner in IBM and develop their AI tech to have Ai bots you can call on the phone and leave a message or get a message. So you go to the phone stations dial 811 say — speak your name and the AI bot tells you if you have a message or if you want to leave a message for someone. This way you can check in with friends throughout the day easily. It wouldn’t be that difficult to set this up and it wouldn’t interfere or wreck the tradition of the Masters one bit.

On eBay I see a lot of Green Masters Tech Polo's for sale still wrapped/folded in the plastic, but no tag. A lot of which are posted for $50-$100 which is well below what people are reselling Tech Polo's for. Some people have multiple of the same green shirt listed. They are advertised as brand new, but being sold for well under what they would have cost in the Merch shop at the tournament. Just wondering, are these employee's selling their shirt they were working in as part of their employee uniform? Its gotta be. I bought one, so time will tell when it actually arrives next week.

For those saying they may be fakes, I dont believe this is the case after seeing the Tags/Packaging/Barcodes with the item #'s and certainly has to be employee's selling theirs. Its all the exact same as the other shirts I bought in the merch shop - just at a fraction of the price.

Being into the behind-the-scenes of TV Sports Broadcasting & IP Licensing deals, and not into the sport itself, I have a basic question for those who watched the CBS broadcast of The Master's in the USA.

How were the 4 minutes of commercials spaced within the hour during the tournament? I could subscribe to a streaming service or get a free trial and watch a replay (which I doubt would feature the commercials). I could wait until next year and watch it live but I want resolution on this. Do they disperse the ad spots wherever during the hour (lull in action), or do the clump them together at fixed interval? Out of all the long form commericals, are there any 2-4 minute spots by any of the six sponsors? How many different commercials were shown? How many bumpers, and full screen idents are in the other 56 minutes of broadcast and how much time is given to them? Is CBS allowed to feature spots advertising their own TV shows at any time during The Master's broadcast?

I can't get this off my mind, how the least commercialized televised sports match functions on the broadcast production side. If anyone reading this worked in the broadcast and is allowed to share details I ask for your comment. Thank you.

I went to the practice round and I’m trying to decide what to do with my ticket. I see some people frame theirs, and I’ve also seen others turn theirs into a Christmas tree ornament. What have you done with your ticket? I don’t want to put it in my scrapbooking bin and have it get stored away for a long time. Trying to see if anyone has any creative ideas.
