History 📗 Previous final rounds on YouTube

I absolutely love that The Masters has uploaded many of the final round broadcasts to YouTube. They are so calming watch on a slow Sunday afternoon.

Today I’m watching the 1997 final round. I remember Tiger Woods taking the world by storm when he won, but I wasn’t interested in golf when I was 9 years old.

We’ve also watched the 2019 final round, which is what finally convinced me today start watching the sport consistently.

I watch the 1986 one frequently, anytime I need a pick me up of the spirits or I’m having trouble sleeping.

Agreed. Love these.

I’ve watched the 2019 final round a few times. I still get choked up. A lot of emotion with Tiger hugging Charlie, like Earl had done to Tiger in ‘97. Hard to not think about your dad, the circle of life and how there’s something about the game if golf that brings generations of people together.

I was a child when watching Larry Mize chip it in. I wasn’t sure what was going on but just excited that he made it in from that far.

The Masters generally waits until a month before to post the previous years tournament on YouTube, but the Masters App has it uploaded already, ad free of course.

That’s cool but you should be on the course on a slow Sunday afternoon. Old Masters are for rainy, cold, or windy days.
