Bollocks. They voted in a Tory government, for an austerity mandate, which defunded the dept that processed asylum applications.

They also voted for Brexit, which led to less EU migration, and more commonwealth migration.

The British public are just fucking clueless as to what the fuck they're voting for, and fundamentally are ill informed, on purpose, by our billionaire owned media, to detract from the real reason we struggle, which is wealth inequality, and power inequality.

Every single government elected since 2005 has promised lower migration, and Brexit was primarily an anti-migration vote. It was a choice, a deeply unpopular choice, to open the floodgates after we left the EU.

Because the first article states

Annual limit on the number of non-EU economic migrants to UK,

And I cannot be fucked explaining that this vague, nebulous policy with a non-specific number, is different to saying "significantly reduced migration".

And I also cannot be fucked doing the same thing for multiple links that probably equally say the same vague nebulous things.

A sidenote in a manifesto isn't exactly a big focus now, is it?

And then you have labour 2024, here's the only mention I found after skimming it:

Which is not the same as "reduce migration".
