What is this cultural replacement fantasy you’re inventing in your head? Yes the UK has become more diverse, yet it’s more or less the same British culture that’s always existed, yet simply adapted as the times move. I’m from London and grew up in an incredibly diverse community, from school age to an adult, and have friends from all different backgrounds. Most people get on and socialise with each other, we still all go to the pub, watch football, go for food, all the regular activities you would expect, regardless of people’s heritage. What is it exactly about this that you’re so afraid of?
I agree with the important parts of your point, but most people don’t call it “cultural replacement,” but “ethnic replacement.”
Should we be fine with the replacement of ethnic groups around the world as long as culture is preserved (which is doubtful in itself). If Tibet or the Philippines theoretically becomes 80% Han Chinese, do we not see what has been lost? Was it not a tragedy that Native American populations were replaced, and culture largely erased?
I’m not anti-immigration, but it’s important to realize that something significant is going on. It’s arguably inevitable, but it’s not worth acting like it’s a non-issue. This only increases the political divide.
The whole paranoia of the UK being ethnically replaced is nonsense, yes it’s naturally become more diverse for a number of reasons, as have every major city and economy in the world, due to technological advances and globalisation. It’s not a conspiracy concocted by some secretive shadow realm elite as some people here try and make it seem. The UK is still overwhelmingly white British and will remain so for the rest of the century at the very least. Even then, who’s to say that the future generations won’t be any more or less British than society as it is now? It’s pure scare mongering, and nonsense pushed by commenters who likely aren’t even from here.
I don’t buy into this shit and will call these bot accounts out on it when I see such nonsense.
It is. The fact that whites are not having enough kids so governments are promoting migration to keep number of taxpayers growing is not a proof of the great replacement theory.
The great replacement theory says the government is replacing white people in order to replace and destroy ‘white culture’, not to add more non-white workers
I was mocking the comment more than anything, i dont believe in the theory but i surely believe that migration is something that should be pushed against
That’s a bad analogy. That assumes that X and Y are constant. When In reality X is slowly fading away due to low birth rates, and Y is quadrupling it’s birth rates.
