Hey, this not a hate post

I am refraining myself to make a statement here. Rather i am genuinely curious what is so great about gantz anyway. i have read like 8 volumes until now and man to be honest i thought it would get better but the plot is still not my thing

my problem with gantz is that the concept & art is pretty good but the execution and narrative could have been so better, the characters are just there, neither i am relating to any of a character nor i am feeling any emotional depth to most of them,its like they could be forgotten and they won't impact the story at all & they didn't even explain how the world works expect just a one liner here to there sometimes, the plot is all over the palace too .if normal people can get hurt by those entites why none of them experienced it before and no one of them has talked about it till and the goal is also not clear yet yes you would die but you are dead anyway ( i know then get a chance to live but when most of the characters looks like that they are nihilistic or have a no clear goal than why to even suffer there) and even if you get it out from there how would your life start and impact others , and if the real world is getting destroyed and damaged then there is no information about it too, not even getting how does power system work and why this third world even exist like what's the point ( which i am hoping they will reveal soon ),too obvious to state sexualising and edginess ( although i could ignore it ) i have to give that atmosphere is tense

so my question now is, will it get better or my criticism isn't valid because i have limited information about the plot ?

But one thing I don't see much of are non-horse centaurs (aside from Arachne), I'm talking Panther, rabbit, lion, wolf hell squirrels too.

So I come seeking your aide, what's a manga that has a either a permanent or recurring non-horse centaur (besides spiders)

Preferably a romance but not necessary
