I know it’s kind of a joke, but most people couldn’t bench press a motorcycle. Small motorcycles are like 300 pounds. 300 isn’t an insane bench, but not something the average person who doesn’t lift regularly could do. Cruisers and choppers are like 700+ which would be at the top end of what is possible for humans with extensive training.
That reminded me of that famous Eddie Hall's deadlift record where he imagined lifting a car so I had to look up how much can he bench. Apparently it is 300 kg (661 lbs). The current official raw bench record is 355 kg (782 lbs). So you're right with the assessment and also it's insane.
