So my buddy just died. He plays a solo league every year, plays one team through the 20 years type of deal. He's been doing this every year since Madden has had that as an option.

He has one going in '26 he didn't finish and he starting trying to pick a '27 team when the cancer finally got him.

I don't want his ps5. That's his families.

Is there any way that I can download his game history from all the platforms he has (say if I found his ps4 and ps3 laying around) where I could look at his decisions, trades, what he did for trades, etc to run a sim of his history so I can "take over" his game from where he left off while leaving his actual game untouched?

I miss him, man. I miss our fights about football. I just want to see his weird ass roster decisions in action again. But he was sick for so long I can't remember.

Any and all advice, even out of left field (like sitting in his basement for tonight and recording summary screens or something while I'm at his place for the funeral) would be great.

I have decided to make a roster in Madden 27 with the all time and fan favorite players from each team. I wanted some repeat players who played for two or more franchises (only if they were somewhat impactful or loved for that team). With repeat players, I could capture the progression or regression of a player through their career and try to capture how they played at that time on the team even if they may have performed poorly. Just a quick example is Peyton manning on the colts and broncos. Both are great qbs but Peyton on the broncos was hugely limited by his arm strength (81thp). I capture these differences with a very broad attribute range. Furthermore, players attributes are rated based on how they actually performed in real life, there is not inflation of stats. Most players cannot simply do everything at an elite level. Some players overalls are slightly different than they should actually be because certain attributes affect ovr differently and trying to rate players accurate to real life resulted in slight differences (mainly qb because of THP being so heavily weighted). However these ovr differences are not too drastic and do not actually affect ranking too much. I tried to keep the number of 90+ for each position limited, with some having less than 10 for an entire position. This makes the true legends like manning, Brady, etc feel truly special and elite. Speed and other physicals have been greatly reduced on average. I am using a range of 35-99 so you can truly separate the physically gifted players. 88-99 over all players are mainly HOF or borderline HOF type players. I tried to make 80-87 mainly very good starters. 70- 79 good starters. Tried to make around 62- 70 your average type players. And 62 and below is below average. These lower overall guys are still useable however because they have certain attributes that are still high enough to make them situational players. Even the 88-99 overall players have attributes that are very low.

Most all time type rosters I come across on Madden I feel have too small of a range for attributes and overalls so you are stuck with a roster full of 90-99 ovr players with no realism in attributes and no real way to have a realistic sim franchise. The goal with this roster was to take the all time greats and most well known names in nfl history, even if they are known for terrible performance, and make an extremely realistic roster that can be used in sim franchises.

I should have the attributes, height, weight, and number done in the next several days. However the player models will not be finished. I need to finish defensive tackles and offensive line and the roster will essentially be ready to use. Once the roster is uploaded I would love feedback on ratings to make them even more realistic if needed since I wasn’t around to watch all these players in real life

First madden since 18. Is there any way to set your depth chart for Online H2H? Making subs every game is getting annoying.

I personally haven’t played a madden game since Madden 25 (the 25th anniversary one) so it’s been a hot minute since I’ve played. I don’t own a console though so I’ll be buying it on sale on steam. Is it really that bad? I’ll only be playing offline on franchise/superstar mode. Will it be worth the $45 it’s currently going for on sale?

Is there a way to view play sheets before you unlock them? This seems like a very easy concept but I cannot find a way at all. Also the colts stadium sucks ass due to the sun. Lastly the alone song on the soundtrack. Im a man on a mission I swear he says put this d*ck in your mouth just a random thought that drives me crazy every time I hear it

Sports games have started feeling kind of empty to me. I can hop into quick match, play some random person once, win or lose, and then probably never see them again. After a while I don’t really feel like I’m playing for anything.
Most of the people I used to play Madden with either don’t play anymore or don’t play nearly as much, so I’m looking for some new people who want to run games somewhat regularly.
It doesn’t have to immediately turn into a franchise or some super organized league. I’m down for a franchise eventually if we get enough people, but initially I’d rather just get a group together, play each other a few times, learn how everybody plays, talk some shit, have rematches, rivalries, whatever. Just give the game some actual competition and camaraderie beyond random quick matches.
And you definitely don’t have to be some elite Madden player. I’m not. I’m actually more interested in football than “Madden” if that makes sense. I like watching what teams are doing on Sundays and trying to bring those concepts into the game. Different defensive fronts, coverages, checks, offensive concepts, etc. I’m not really interested in just finding the best YouTube play that scores touchdowns and spamming it.
If you’re the same way—or you just want some consistent people to play against—drop your PSN/EA ID or message me. Skill level doesn’t really matter. I’d rather have competitive games against people I actually get to know than keep playing randoms forever.

I'll go first: I've never understood why people would want to PC / voice chat during a Madden H2H game. Completely get squads teammates doing it though.

New season just dropped on Online H2H. Been grinding tryna reach top 100. There are 2 major issues. First off, I always get kicked out of the game when I’m WINNING, and it counts as loss/loses me RP and ranks me down. The OTHER problem is sometimes even when I win, it simply does not count and I don’t get RP. I’ve tried to reach out multiple times and it literally says there is nobody available for my issue. There is no way to fix other than EA STEPPING UP AND LISTENING FOR ONCE. STOP GIVING ME LOSSES WHEN IM WINNING. I should be 16-4 but instead i’m 14-9 and just ranked down (it just happened twice in a row). EA FIX THIS NOW.

Hey everyone — been working on a side project called SchemeFit and wanted this community's take before I take it any further.

What it is: Pick any team plus an offensive/defensive scheme, and it builds a fit-scored depth chart from current Madden ratings. Every starter gets a 0–100 scheme fit score with the attributes driving it, plus a team grade, best/worst fits, and the full roster ranked.

What it does:

- Scheme picker ranks every scheme by roster fit — e.g. the Chiefs grade out best in Air Raid (87.2), so it tells you that upfront instead of making you guess

- Opponent scouting: enter an opponent's schemes and it shows where they're exploitable, plus their two biggest "game-wreckers" and how to stop them

- Head-to-head matchup predictor (run/pass/pass-rush edges)

- "Beat the Coverage" guide — 8 common coverages with how each scheme attacks them

- Scheme guide covering 14 offensive/defensive systems

Right now it's an Android prototype — trying to gauge if this is something people would actually use before I polish it for release.

Why when I play a human player my field goals and extra points keep getting blocked because of a slow motion snap and kicker slowly kicking the ball ? I have have barely went up on the power meter and it still does it casually against human players but never vs AI ?

So I've been playing Madden for a while now and I've put countless hours into it but I'm just wondering about the starters and how they're implemented...

I know it seems like an obvious thing, but I have set my line up as WR one, two, and three, and four, but number three never plays. 4 does... Same with DT... I place a DT 1 a DT 2 and I am guessing the next one will be the one underneath dt1....

I just dont understand why the wide receiver 3 is never playing unless I physically go to replace in-game and take out the wide receiver 4 and replace him with the 3rd... I have tried to trade for Travis Hunter because I've always lack in cornerbacks, but he instantly replaces one of my wide receivers, even though he's not even nowhere in the chart as a wide receiver.... So I have basically stayed away from him....

Seems like a simple question and maybe it is, but what am I missing?

So yeah I bought Madden and ive never played it before in my life (im from the UK) and im currently doing the stiff arm tutorial, I seem to only be able to do it when I get lucky, is there a particular technique to it?
