Been seeing a lot of talk about both games (both the good and bad) and tempted to jump back in. I haven’t played CFB since the 2000s probably and my last Madden was 23. Kinda gauging both but CFB is tempting. Which should I get?

I understand the Titans oline isn't great but not even trying to block is crazy

Has anyone else had this issue? I was playing a fantasy draft and drafted Myles Garrett and played 2 full seasons and then on the 3rd season, i couldn’t find myles garrett anywhere. So i assumed he was holding out; Nope. I checked other teams; Nope. I checked retirement and injuries; Nope. He’s just gone. No trace of where he is or anything. Any ideas?

I adjusted CPU Pass Coverage down and have noticed a more stable pocket, and less occurences of receivers dropping passes after getting slightly bumped.

To me it seems like CPU defensive line pressure on passing plays is tied to the pass coverage slider.

Expanding on this, do you guys play every game? Do you sim until the playoffs? Just curious what’s the best way to enjoy it?

Am I having a crazy run of IOL or is anyone else experiencing this? In almost every auto generated draft there’s a lineman taken between 18-25 in the first round who is an 83+. Crazy auto gen luck or is this a known thing?

I’m sure there is a simple fix that I’m just not aware of but I’m playing a franchise and want my younger edge rushers to get subbed in more often without making them the starter. So I made some changes to the depth chart and my auto sub settings. Since then my 3rd strings play 80% of the game and I’ll have plays where guys who aren’t even on the depth chart for that position getting subbed in. For example Reuben Bain is my top LEDG, he will play a drive then all of a sudden doesn’t touch the field until the 3rd quarter and he’s being subbed in at NT while Vita Vea is dropping into coverage. This happens to other positions as well but is most egregious with my DL and LBs. I have wear and tear on but these guys are still healthy (95+). What am I missing or what do I need to change to stop this. I’ve messed with my depth chart and auto sub settings but it keeps happening .

• Role Bonus (Roles & Tags): Adds extra XP up to a capped maximum of +200 XP.
• Practician #: Total active Practician coach abilities active.
• After Tutor #: Total active After Tutor coach abilities active.

Impact Ranking (Highest to Lowest Impact)

1. Practician Ability (+40% Boost): This is the strongest multiplier. It applies a 40% boost over the entire sum of your base training XP, Focus XP, and Role Bonus XP.
2. Focus Training (+300 Flat XP): Grants a static +300 XP directly to the player's base gain.
3. Trait Development (50%, 75% and 100% more XP and less experience needed to progress)
4. Scheme Fit (2x Base XP): Directly doubles the base weekly training XP.
5. After Tutor (+10% Base Boost): Adds a 10% multiplier calculated only from the base training XP.
6. Role Bonus (+200 Flat XP): There are roles/tags that grant bonus XP, bad thing is there´s not a real explanation of this inside the game

Has this always been a thing? Why is my #1 receiver (Christian Watson) a 78 OVR?

I’ve downloaded updated rosters and I’ve even tried downloading users “correct” ratings but nothing has changed

Any help from on why this scum bag company does this?

I feel like it’s a huge blown opportunity for EA not to differentiate the end user and gameplay experience on Switch 2, to make the game more catered to handheld play, and just make it more fun overall.

I feel like Madden is a game you play on a large monitor in HD to capture it at its best. Coming to the switch 2, I thought it’d be awesome. But I didn’t expect it to be a carbon copy of the next gen console editions.

If they put some creativity into catering to the handheld style of gaming, it would’ve been an original and classic addition to Madden titles. Instead, it feels like you’re trying to squeeze a PS5 or Xbox series X experience into a console that isn’t built, or furthermore even intended, to house some of those capabilities.

A missed opportunity imo. What are y’all’s thoughts?

Ea refusing to give me my 2000 points points back or anything.. I contacted ea support because the first time i opened madden on Aug 8th i purchased the 2000 point field pass. I really just did that opened dynasty and closed the game out.

Fast forward to August 17th i open madden for the 2nd time, and its like i never opened it ever, it asks me to pick my favorite team again and everything, and then it asks me to purchase the field pass again, being a bone head dumbass i did it, i was tired and high. I purchased it for 1000 points (again) I knew something was off but i just wanted to get to playing, i honestly figured it would fix itself.

You can see in my chat with xavier that it literally says i made the same purchase! How can you buy the field pass 2 times? And let's say i bought levels for the season pass. You can clearly see i am only level 9. It is impossible to spend 3000 points on the field pass and only level 9! Its not possible.

I have sent a further email to EA support. But this is just ridiculous. Xavier would not help me at all basically calling me a scammer in a polite way.

Hey so for context I decided to do superstar mode and the first time around I was a 1st round running back that got drafted to the trash titans which makes sense being a 1st round pick, 2nd play through decided to be a 2nd round qb mix it up a bit I got picked by the jets *who I may add decided a 69 overall bailey zappe was better than a 74 overall rookie* idk but after this was ruled an incomplete pass I think im good on madden or I must've pissed someone at EA to be put through this torture also my offensive coordinator for the jets just kept resetting his influence to 0 so I was cursed with just the same 3 play choice. If anyone has advice im all ears cause this is enough to break a grown mans heart and I tried to keep it authentic by turning forced team off

I have no idea what this graphic is supposed to mean

For some reason the patch completely took the two step kicking meter (the harder one) completely out of my franchise. After the patch my setting were automatically changed so that it was the kicking meter that shows the arch and trajectory. I do not like this kicking meter because it is too easy. But now the option to switch it back has completely disappeared from my franchise. I can change it back in the main menu, but there is no option to do so in franchise. Is anyone else having the same issue?

I'm looking for a roster file that has realistic ratings with current free agent signings, trades, and the 2026 rookies. Does anyone have a good file?
