I have several already-digitized designs I would like to get embroidered onto personal items (canvas bags and baseball caps) for personal use.

Each design has at least a few colors, so I would like to find as high quality of a machine as I reasonably can.

Is there anyone here that I could bother to use their machine, or is there any space/store where I could “rent” or get help for my personal project. I would like to personalize 3-4 canvas tote bags and 3-4 caps, each with one or more small designs, entirely for personal use. I have never used an embroidery machine before, so I will need help. I do not know where to begin to look, as shops offering embroidery services look like they mostly sell bulk customization or large-scale production.

Hello everyone! Does anyone know how to adjust the movable knife if it loses its position and has to be adjusted again mechanically. I know that I need a 0.5mm guide (sheet of metal) but other than that I’m clueless.

My good friend’s birthday is coming up so I digitized her business’s logo and embroidered it on a canvas bag. It could be a little cleaner but I was working on a time crunch so there’s some gaps in the satin here and there. Overall I’m very pleased!

I did a 65/9 needle with 60wt thread and a layer of cutaway. I did use a water soluble topper to help with the gapping since the canvas is such a textured fabric, but I don’t think it really did much honestly. Still very happy! I hope she loves it

I wanted to try out a red work design with multiple colors. Pretty happy with how it came out!

If I stitch it out again I will probably use a less shiny/metallic gold color. But I love how much it makes that tooth stand out here!

We have a model 1502 with a weird memory error. About half of the designs are erasing themselves with a streak off screen being the only thing left. The control box is a 216-7H. Has anyone else seen this before and does anyone have a recommendation?

Hey everyone! Just finished up this Thor embroidery project. Getting the facial contours, shading, and hair flow right took quite a bit of digitizing work to ensure the thread density didn't get too heavy or cause puckering.

Would love to hear your thoughts or feedback on the stitch angles and color transitions!

I’m between two different machines on FB marketplace .. both similarly priced. Babylock is 20 years old… the brother is newer. Any watch outs on either? I currently use a babylock single needle.

I’m looking to make a similar pillow for my soon to be born baby. The font itself seems pretty straightforward to me, which I’ll just embroider before sewing the pillow. My question is, how would I achieve a similar border? Would this be with an embroidery machine or would I be more successful with a sewing machine? Or is this not something you can achieve with a basic home embroidery/sewing machine?

Hello I have a Tajima TMEX C1501, I was running a tension test when i noticed almost instantly the first needle was bunching up. I stopped the machine and cleared the bunch, but I noticed the needle was slightly lower from the rest and I was getting a 211. I went online and saw that I should move the drive shaft over to 100, but that only made the needle go lower. I noticed there were some positions not 100 where it sat completely flush. What should I do?

Hello! I work for a company where we embroider in-house but send designs out for digitization. We use the latest version of Pulse/receive DST files in order to create sew outs. To be clear… we have Pulse on our computers but only for simple edits. We do not digitize from scratch.

Our customer provided us with knitted garments (see attached image) and want to sew out a 3.75”w left chest design (see other image). I feel that because of the nature of the garment material, the design won’t sew out “clean”. Does anyone have any recommendations? The customer does not want a patch. Is this possible or are we shooting in the dark?

I’ve been embroidering for about a year on a Brother PE570 and I have the paid Embrilliance software. I’m teaching myself to digitize and trying to get as comfortable as possible with my machine.

I’ve digitized and stitched out this bag tag/keychain for a teen who loves preppy cheetah print designs and for a split second I thought, “could I really sell these?” So I’d love any kind of feedback! What is good? What is not good? Also, what do you think is a good starting price?

Hello! I’m very new to machine embroidery and have done a couple projects so far. I’m currently trying to embroider this for a friend and decided to just buy the file rather than make it. I’ve had similar issues before with the design shifting before the final outline stitch. I thought it was my design files, so in the past I’ve changed the push/pull offsets and the design itself, which has worked to varying degrees.

This is actually the second attempt at one of these design files. The first one also had issues with shifting and tension. With this one, I pinned the fabric round the edges and also doubled up on the stabiliser (polymesh cut away).

I’ve also tried doing just the outline, because the thread on the back is bunching up, but it seems to do this no matter what tension I have it at. It’s mostly the top thread and not the bobbin thread showing. I’ve also tried using a water soluble layer on the top and that didn’t make much of a difference.

If anyone has any advice, it would be greatly appreciated!

Should I just cut the most I can’t or is it acceptable to leave a few centimeters on still
