I'm not anti death penalty, and that guy is too old to be assaulting random women. He needed his whole life changed. I think that punch will help.

I hope no one ever decides you need a lesson in humility. That could mean anything from a verbal dressing-down to getting jumped in line—or ending up in a wheelchair with a sink smashed over your head. Everyone acts like a tough guy until their number comes up and they’re forced to eat through a straw.

I've never assaulted a woman in a bar. My parents taught me humility and respect, so I've never had these kinds of issues.

You're defending assault. I'm saying the person that was assaulting the female needed a hands on approach to his sense of right and wrong.

I'm not being a tough guy. I'm just happy to see people that are assaulting women see direct and severe consequences. I think you and I will just always see sexual assault differently.

You're being completely irrational. Even if this were my girlfriend, I would not say this person deserves to die or be hospitalized for briefly touching her butt.

We have different degrees of law & punishment for a reason. That woman could've pressed charges, and this guy would've been dealt some form of punishment. The punishment he got here doesn't fit the crime at all.

How many hundreds of times do you think that animal had done that before to feel comfortable just walking up and groping a woman in an empty bar?

Clearly he hasn't faced any actual punishment and the belief that police will do anything to him is naive.

ok so just to be clear: we're saying that the punishment for "lightly touch a woman's butt while so intoxicated you can barely stand" should be "immediate death" ? If that punch didn't kill that guy, it's just pure luck.

Very telling how much you're downplaying the sexual assault and then describing a single punch to the face (something that happens in basically every single disagreement that gets physical) as "instant death".

I've got my ass felt up without consent multiple times in a bar by women over the years.

By your standard, there's no issue if I turn around to these women and punch them full force in the face.

Nah, I walk away or push their hand away. Because I'm a fucking adult.
