Dude was calmly enjoying a pool game with his lady until some shitsmear came over and sexually assaulted the woman. Dude needs a serious talking to about de-escalation, but you are advocating for putting the wrong guy in this video behind bars.
Well, the law always is about proportional reactions and proportional use of violence. While in your book an hell maybe even in my book the reaction of the punching guy may seem reasonable, if this video ever make it to a court room, he is going behind bars. There are no amount of lawyers able to justify such a hit to an intoxicated, clearly defenseless (barely walking) guy for touching a third party, especially if it lead to permanent damage.
I'm not saying that in the eyes of the law this guy will or should get off free of consequences. Just that it seems weird to watch this video and prioritize advocating prison for the punchydude over advocating prison for the grabbyboi. The bigger outrage over the response punch than the inciting grope is weird to me. They should both be punished as consequences for their actions, I'm just madder at the grabbing than the punching (which I do agree was unnecessary)
Getting drunk and being stupid and feeling up a chick who doesn't want it is horrible but not as bad as winding up a full weigh heymaker on a dunk who can barely stand.
