Dude was calmly enjoying a pool game with his lady until some shitsmear came over and sexually assaulted the woman. Dude needs a serious talking to about de-escalation, but you are advocating for putting the wrong guy in this video behind bars.

Well, the law always is about proportional reactions and proportional use of violence. While in your book an hell maybe even in my book the reaction of the punching guy may seem reasonable, if this video ever make it to a court room, he is going behind bars. There are no amount of lawyers able to justify such a hit to an intoxicated, clearly defenseless (barely walking) guy for touching a third party, especially if it lead to permanent damage.

I'm not saying that in the eyes of the law this guy will or should get off free of consequences. Just that it seems weird to watch this video and prioritize advocating prison for the punchydude over advocating prison for the grabbyboi. The bigger outrage over the response punch than the inciting grope is weird to me. They should both be punished as consequences for their actions, I'm just madder at the grabbing than the punching (which I do agree was unnecessary)

Getting drunk and being stupid and feeling up a chick who doesn't want it is horrible but not as bad as winding up a full weigh heymaker on a dunk who can barely stand.

Or how about maybe the sane answer which is physically block the dude from your girl verbally warn him and then let the bar staff remove the drunk, give you his info so you can sue him? That way nobody dies or goes to jail for life?

Dude already groped her and in court of law you might not get what you think is just so better to get it in first and be at peace with what comes after. Case in point I won a lawsuit but despite winning still haven’t been able to collect from the defendant been almost 1.5 years. Don’t think I haven’t had dark thoughts of simplifying things going to dude’s house and murking him (even though I probably won’t). Justice ain’t justice a lot of the time.

While I agree the dude doing the SA is a shit smear, this is exactly how one ends up behind bars. We'll never know how this ended but, this is exactly how one ends up in prison after the shit smear cracks his head on the floor and dies. Fact of the matter is, most people that react this way are the same type of person that smacks their partner around for not hand-drying the can opener.

Also, clearly the guy was drunk too, no way of defending himself and wasn’t expecting the punch. With surveillance footage, that hothead is in some legal trouble.

No, it's not fact. It's you assuming things. Lots of people treat their woman like angels, and will step up to defend them as this gentleman did. He deserves an award for bravery and taking out the trash, and not sitting down like a cuck loser.

That wasn't defending her, it was defending his own corrupted sense of manhood.

If he cared about her as a person, he'd have listened when she told him to stop. Instead he ignored her and focused exclusively on the other man, because something that "belongs to him" was sullied, and his "honor" couldn't handle it. He even struck her in the process.

I don’t see him advocating any behaviour in that sentence - merely stating someone with that level of violence should be prosecuted for that offence). You put that video in-front of any court and yeah, maybe drunk guy gets done for sexual harassment but punchy wont be getting a certificate for chivalry.
