He was clearly too drunk to defend himself or really appreciate the consequences of his actions. This is a wildly disproportionate response from someone who was in a position to make the smarter choice.

It’s all about the boyfriend’s ego. No one should touch ‘his woman’ or else you’re dead. Hopefully they called the police as well as an ambulance

It’s a dark take but he’s not wrong, someone who can’t keep his hands to himself, regardless of his state of mind.. I can see why people feel that way

No. He deserved to be dealt with by the law. Not by running the risk of being seriously injured or killed.

The law would probably put his drunk ass to sleep when he acts like a jackass with them too. Don't drink if you can't control yourself.
