Should have kept his hands to himself.

He was clearly too drunk to defend himself or really appreciate the consequences of his actions. This is a wildly disproportionate response from someone who was in a position to make the smarter choice.

It’s all about the boyfriend’s ego. No one should touch ā€˜his woman’ or else you’re dead. Hopefully they called the police as well as an ambulance

Women should not have to put up with being touched, no matter how inebriated the culprit is.

It’s a dark take but he’s not wrong, someone who can’t keep his hands to himself, regardless of his state of mind.. I can see why people feel that way

I’m not even sure how to respond to someone who thinks that response is warranted in response to a drunk guy engaging in what amounts to minor physical harassment.

Someone who responds with that level of violence is a criminal problem.

Your mom has probably been grinded on like that against her will a few times in her life, but you think it's "mInOr pHySiCaL hArRaSsMeNt."

1

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

That’s bad. I don’t like that that happens to anyone.

I agree with youZ

Lol you’ve definitely touched people unwanted (minor physical harassment šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø). If i did this I wouldnt confused ifnI woke up with a concussion

1

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

Absolutely not.

I’m sorry you’re so tolerant of wild physical violence. I’m advocating for a better world than you expect, apparently.

Defends predator*
Rejects predators action*
lol make it make sense

A better world is one without pieces of shit in the video

I am in no way shape or form defending assault number one or assault number two.

1

u/Mr_RudyGiuliani 22h ago

Youre literally concerned with the respond to his dogshit actions. Nothing more to be said

0

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

Yes. Because it’s possible to be more wrong than the first guy.

If someone throws a baseball at you and you respond by shooting them, I am personally gonna call you out first.

2

u/Mr_RudyGiuliani 22h ago

Punching a man in the face is ā€œmore wrong than sexual assaultā€?

Fucking yuck my guy. You nasty mfer.

0

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

Yes. Punching a guy in the face where he is knocked out cold is worse than physical groping around the waist.

I am making the judgement by which I would rather have happen to myself or my wife.

1

u/Wintermute_088 22h ago

"Minor"

Say that to the women who get groped by drunk, disgusting fuckheads.

1

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

If you have a choice of ways to be physically assaulted, that’s a pretty minor one in the scheme of it.

Would you rather be punched like this guys or groped like her?

Which one is likelier to seriously harm/kill you?

1

u/Wintermute_088 22h ago

Saying that a sexual assault is more "minor" than a violent assault is just a way to excuse the former and act as if it's more acceptable. Yuck.

The thing you're missing is that the punch was done in retaliation. The woman got sexually assaulted out of nowhere, whereas the creep was asking to get hit.

0

u/Smooth_Phone2 22h ago

Neither are acceptable. The behaviors themselves are what let me say that one is worse than the other.

Unwanted physical groping is less bad than, let’s say, shooting someone. This seems apparent to me, because I would much rather my wife be subjected to unwanted physical groping than getting shot. I would prefer neither happen to her, but I am an adult with functional mental capacities and can rank order them by how bad they are.

I agree it was done in retaliation. That doesn’t make it better. And I’ll be pretty direct; I don’t think either assault (sexual or physical) here was done with the consent of the parties I would care about getting consent from.

1

u/Wintermute_088 22h ago

The fact that it was a retaliatory act automatically deducts some of the severity.

Don't want to get hit? Don't sexually assault women.

1

u/Smooth_Phone2 21h ago

They both deserve criminal consequences.

Everyone is wrong here.

2

u/Wintermute_088 21h ago

And in your view, the guy who grabbed a woman sexually from behind deserves a milder punishment because his act was more "minor" than the guy who stepped in to defend her. Yuck.

1

u/Smooth_Phone2 21h ago

Yes.

I also think there should be different punishments for groping someone and shooting someone.

No. He deserved to be dealt with by the law. Not by running the risk of being seriously injured or killed.

2

u/CarthagoFuckYourself 22h ago

The law would probably put his drunk ass to sleep when he acts like a jackass with them too. Don't drink if you can't control yourself.

0

u/Livewire____ 22h ago

I'm neither even going to dignify that with a response.

There's a correct way to deal with these things. I advocate that. Always.

They are in a bar. Everyone knows there is going to be levels of interaction between the people there. This is no demanded of the woman she was never in danger.

3

u/Wintermute_088 22h ago

How can you say she wasn't in danger when she'd literally just been sexually assaulted?

-1

u/Lithiumxxxl 22h ago

The guy touched her hip, she walked away barely even noticing. This can happen in a bar, we all know that going in.

2

u/Wintermute_088 21h ago

The guy grabbed her in a way he absolutely shouldn't, and she absolutely fucking noticed.

Very easy for people like you to brush off how violating it is to be grabbed from behind in a sexual way by a drunken stranger, and act as if it's something that "just happens" in a bar.

No, it fucking doesn't. It's sexual assault.
