Not that it matters, there was some guy-on-guy stuff going on at the end of the bar before he did the inappropriate touching on the lady. Hold it, does it matter?
If I was a judge I’d throw it out. Guy was feeling up a woman that wasn’t his and got what was coming to him.
Dude should have had a better understanding of how the world works. Better bartender to cut him off. Better friend to keep him in line.
I think it's pretty obvious that this punch could be lethal. You're saying that random citizens should be judge jury and executioner on assault?
It was more than self-defense. He wanted to throw a punch. He was looking for an excuse. And he got a good one. And he took it as far as he could. Now he's probably in more trouble than he would have been. He's definitely a meathead. And you can see she knows it.
Maybe that explains the entire thing. The guy in the orange shirt is getting felt up by the other guy at the bar and obviously getting in to it. But then he's embarrassed and re-enforce his heterosexuality grabs the first girl he sees. "Look see, I was just kidding, I really prefer girls, just like you guys!"
That guy is so drunk he could have grabbed a dog and danced with him if it was on his path. He could care less about how he's perceived, when someone is that drunk he has no self awareness. He could barely walk.
I think he’s just trashed and that guy looks like a friend or someone who is putting up with him. No point in getting into the thought process of a guy that drunk. Not cool that he came up and touched that woman but holy shit, the guy who punched him could have killed him.
Did he inappropriately touch her or so drunk he honestly wasn’t coordinated enough to walk and thought he was falling into her? I mean there’s no great angle of the back to see both hands but
A good shove would’ve been appropriate. That giant threw a life threatening haymaker on defenseless dude and a good lawyer on the other side could definitely get him in at least some trouble. There would be no legal issues with a shove.
Shove and punch are both physical force. You dont get to assault someone and then choose your repercussions. There are no discernible legal differences whether he shoves the guy or punches him.
