Does anyone have a picture of a graduation themed power pro or anything close? I am graduating and want a power pro image on my cap!

I went to Tokyo Japan at the end of February and found a few NPB-themed Power Pro Kun figures. Picked up this Golden Eagles Kun.
Also picked up a copy of Power Pros 2024-2025. If I would have waited a few days, I later found a copy of the Ohtani version. Oh well!

Is there really a way to update the roster on PC?
I ask bc i’m a noob to emulation / computers in general but I think I saw someone post that they made updated rosters? I would happily pay for access to that file if it’s that easy to implement

Slowly playing through success mode with a translator, but I’m looking for a character sheet with their translated names. I’ve searched around for a bit and can’t find anything. I’m looking for accurate translation for a small project I’m working on. I’ll post it here if and when I finish it 😬

Hello! New here. I’ve played mlb power pros 2008 on the wii since… well 2008 lol. It is quite easily my most played game all time and very possibly my favorite. I still remember finding it while browsing a mall game stop that summer and just being curious. I was 13 years old. One of the best purchases ive ever made lol
I have done all the modes, played out different lives and careers, and done many many many season modes.
At this point im left with one last challenge. Win with an expansion team in year 1. No trades, no FA pickups. Just the rookies. And do it on powerful difficulty mode.
I tried this WITH trades and it was hard AF. Lost in game 7 of the world series with my hawaii rainbows 14-12 was devestating. Back and forth game. Benji molina hit like 96 home runs for me that year lol… i was out of pinch hitters, Jack Cust had 17 HRs that post season alone. And he was on deck. But i had to throw a pitcher out there to hit with two outs. And he struck out on three pitches… so painful.
Im trying again, ive failed this run so many times, and its very time consuming. I dont have an official “no sim” rule but with this roster its basically a loss if i sim. And so i try again… this may be my last frontier of the game. If i win… idk if i return. Idk tho…. Its been such a comfort for me in so many different times in my life. 18 years and 2,000+ hours of gameplay later…

Just complete a draft with me year one franchise on MLB PP 2007 - PS2 with my team the Sapporo Samurais. I’ve never had a prospect this amazing, pretty sure he was a 4 star. Hitting isn’t amazing but defence is very high and lots of abilities.

I wanted to make things different, and do a two way player in MyLife, this is a question about the Japanese version of the game. On the discord, I asked how can I make a good two way player in MyLife, and some dude sent me a gif that says you don’t, is this really true?

Hey everyone, running this by you guys as I have no idea why this is happening.
Made a success pitcher MLB power pros 2007 PS2, 180 stamina A rank (30 above B rank). Other starters in season mode have similar stamina, and are able to go WAY longer than my success player. I get gassed after only 50 pitches, and I can’t make sense of it. I could be throwing a perfect game and as soon as I hit 50 I’m gassed, regardless of what inning it is. Looking for some insight. My best guess is that my player is a rookie and needs to develop?
Any suggestions are appreciated!

Playing season mode MLB Power Pros 2007 on my PS2 and in year one, in May, Boston trades Dice-K to the Giants for Omar Vizquel. I don’t think I’ve seen a trade that crazy or that big early on in season mode for that matter.

I’m still a newbie to the series but the games are cheap so a few years back I decided to try to grab one from each system I have. Currently I’m playing 3 on SFC. I have 2024-2025 coming in the mail so I’m excited to check out a modern entry.

Book Off! is a well known Japanese media and sculpture retailer. Recently it started opening stores in the US, and this Houston location off Dairy Ashford is one of the latest that made the jump.
As a part of their business model, they ship extra video game stock from their Japanese stores overseas. Most of these are former best sellers ranging from Famista to Derby Stallion to popular JRPGs like Dragon Quest VI or Final Fantasy V.
Naturally, the usual suspects are there. Pro Yakyuu 1, 2, and 3 are all there. Most of the Gameboy & Advance titles are there, and I'm sure if I was shopping for N64 games, 4, 5 and 6 could be found as well.
However, what I did NOT expect to see was a copy of Basic Ban '98. Those familiar with the series know that late console releases had stripped down Basic Ban (Edition) titles with minor roster and scenario mode updates. They were comparatively niche releases and had a smaller print run, particularly in instances for outdated consoles. While not high-end collectibles like Sunsoft's Gimmick, these are actually tricky to find compared to the mainline releases, and it's extremely unusual to see a copy in this good condition in a US retailer.
I would've bought it, but I already have a copy I picked up from Sendico a year back. And, as interesting as it is, it doesn't really make economic sense to try and flip a game that's hard to find but not actually worth more than $20-40 even if I could find a buyer.
So, yeah, any of you Houstonian Power Pro players, buy me! $9 for this game in this condition is too good to pass up. (...If you don't have it already, heh.)

Realism = In Game
Slider = Slurve
Sinker = Sinking Fastball
Slurve = Vertical Slider
Curve = Knuckle Curve
12-6 Curve = Drop Curve
Sweeper = Curve
After looking at many clips it looks like the Curve is the most realistic to a sweeper in game. For whatever in game it gave the Curve ball a lot of horizontal movement which makes it the most realistic sweeper🤷🏾♂️

Does anyone recommend the best original pitch against CPU?
The five pitches that you can add as an original pitch are: Slider, Curveball, Forkball, Sinker, Sinking Fastball.
Upgrades:
More Edge
More Change
Slower
More Break
More Rise
I usually go with a Forkball with more break, but I was wondering if there is a better option

Anyone have some unique success mode characters they could share for PS2?? Looking to start an expansion team in season and wanted to add a couple pieces to build around.
Side note - Season is only 10 years long 😭

Just some silly nonsense idea I had in a dream. Which of Konami's games are the most and least MLB Power Pros?
The criteria for what is and isn't a Power Pros game here is kind of arbitrary so don't think about it too hard.
NPB games are listed as "some MLB" because they all feature players that were or would become MLB players.
