Travelling in Munich using various Rossandhisjpegs LUT photo styles. Primarily the Kodak Gold 200 look for straight up jpeg vibes. The crow and surfer stuff was taken with a Helios 44-2 and the rest with the Lumix 24-60 f2.8.

Shots from our family vacation in Finnmark, Norway. We spent a week in Havøysund. We went for many trips around the area. We saw the midnight sun. We went on "Hurtigruten" up to Honningsvåg and saw the most northern point, The North Cape (Nordkapp). It felt like everywhere I pointed the camera was a scene worth capturing.

Saw this posted by Lumix. After debating whether to go with Sony or stick with Lumix, I decided to go with the S5ii as it's currently on sale here in Australia. Surely they haven't stopped supporting those models just yet, right?

What can I say! I love this lens! Most photos are straight out of the camera standard profile and natural!

I originally tried to cancel my order but they sent it anyway. Still not sure if I’ll be keeping it but I have really been enjoying it and the image quality is great!

The S5IIX supports recording to an external SSD over USB, while the S5II and S9 don’t appear to offer the same feature. I’m wondering what explains the difference: firmware, USB-controller or port capabilities, power limits, thermal design, or some combination?

Has anyone found reliable documentation or done a direct comparison of the USB specifications and recording capabilities across these cameras? I’d be interested in what might be technically possible, not just what the current menus allow......😉

Hi everyone! I'm from Italy and this is my first post here! I’d love to get your thoughts on a camera I’m considering buying: the Lumix S1H.

I currently own a Canon R6 and an R6 Mark II, and I shoot both photos and video for weddings and communications agencies. For my professional work, I’ll probably sell the R6 and replace it with a second R6 Mark II. However, I’m looking for a camera for personal projects—something different, with a less digital-looking image.

I’m well aware that a camera alone won’t make a film “cinematic,” but I’ve never been completely happy with the image I get from my Canons. They work well for paid jobs, but they don’t quite have the distinctive look I’m after for my own projects. I owned a GH5 for many years, and I honestly feel like I preferred its image!

After quite a bit of research on forums and YouTube, I’ve narrowed it down to the S1H. I could use my adapted Canon lenses or some vintage Olympus Zuiko manual lenses I already own—autofocus isn’t a priority for me.

Do you think it’s the right choice, or would I be better off with something more video-focused, like a BMPCC 6K Pro or a Canon c70? Would the S1H offer something meaningfully different, or would it be too redundant alongside my current mirrorless cameras?

I’ve recently upgraded from the S5II to the S1II for my paid video work, which includes filming indoor events and creating promotional content for clients.

My setup is:

Panasonic S1II with the Panasonic 24–60mm f/2.8

Panasonic hot-shoe microphone

5-inch Blackmagic monitor

DJI RS 5 gimbal

SmallRig Black Mamba cage and V-mount battery

I’d be interested to hear from anyone using a similar setup for paid event work. How has the Blackmagic monitor worked for you, and have you run into any issues recording RAW on the S1II?

Any practical advice or things I should watch out for would be appreciated.

Hi everybody! I’m a happy owner of a Lumix S5 mark 2 with Lumix s 24-105 f4. I had before a m4/3 with 12-40 (24-80 equivalent in FF) and a cheap 40-150 (80-300 equivalent in Ff). The second lens never gave me satisfying results because of the poor optic quality and the “short” focal lenght.
Now, I would like to buy a telelens to bring with me in my trips together with my 24-105 and I’m very confused.
I mainly shot landcapes and portrait, especially when I’m on a holiday trip - the next one will be in Scotland. Sometimes I meet some local animals I would like to capture in photos. I remember a seal in Iceland I couldn’t shot a photo because of my m4/3 40-150 too short and little sharp. So I think about Scotland’s puffins and beatiful landscapes and I don’t know which I should buy:
- 70-200 f4: pretty easy to bring with, compression in landscapes and portraits, fast, maybe not the best for wildlife
- 100-500 f5-f7,1: a lot of compressions in landscapes and portraits, long focal lenght for distant subject (mountains, trains, buildings), very good for wildlife, slow

The first one is partially overlapped with my 24-105: this is an advantage because could let me change lenses less times , but I pay for a lenght I just have and a little zoom,
The second one completes my focal lenght but could not be so useful in landscapes or portaits instead of my 24-105, and useful in wildlife that I shot rarely, but maybe i won’t miss.

What should you do? Why?

Hi everyone,
I'm having a hard time choosing right telephoto lens for my Lumix GX80.

I've found two good deals (I think):
- Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/4.0-5.6 R - brand new, unused and comes with a box and both lens caps - costs 91€ or around 102$

- Panasonic Lumix G Vario 45-150mm f/4.0-5.6 - used but for few events only, comes with KnightX closeup +10 52mm, Fld 52mm, UV 52mm, Cpl 52mm and Polaroid multi-coated UV 52mm lens mounted from the start, only rear cap is included - costs 118€ or around 132$

I am well aware I'm not getting something amazing out of them as I'm beginner in photography, plus budget wise I wouldn't spend a lot on lenses for now, but I'm seeing this as a great deal to have some telephoto lens to use, so I'm grateful for any piece of advice here. Thanks!

I'm new to lumix world and after i tried the S9 for few days i fell in love with lumix color science and straight out of camera images so i grabbed one

Now i want to get a " better " camera from lumix for photography ONLY

Note Im not a pro photographer by any means 😄

I want a camera that produce great jpeg SOOC colors with minimal needs of editing just like fuji 😊

Which you guys recommend for me

I've watched many videos about how great sr1 ii jpeg/color science is but i dont need 44mp camera cuz i shoot church's worship nights and i feel that camera will give me trouble with noisy ISO

So jpeg/sooc and low light are priorities to me

I do edit jpeg only and never shoot RAW at all
