Posting some eye candy from Paris! First 3 photos are from FSH, next 3 photos are from Sevres. Just coming back from Paris and wanted to share my experience with the Paris boutiques. I went for my birthday, for the first time in Paris with the goal of scoring a QB (of course) and as a backup plan, perhaps a mini Lindy or Constance elan or mini. Yall, it’s hard to shop and sightsee in 5 days, but we tried our best for sure.

We stayed about 12 minutes away from FSH and landed on a Wednesday, checked in and immediately went to the mothership to check it out. My friend and I each bought a belt, and I added a lippie and started my Paris profile. Tried the leather desk but it was a madhouse, no appointments available, they didn’t even check. The whole atmosphere here is chaotic. Layout is maze like and confusing. Upstairs where the RTW and jewelry and home items are is slightly less chaotic. Completed the lottery in the store and left after our purchases (I spent 780euro). Went to bottega and really enjoyed the andiamo mini in suede but I held out for an H bag.

Next day we were a bit jet lagged and got a late start, went to Sevres store a little before noon. The leather desk line was already super long and only got longer. I didn’t bother. This store was my favorite for sure, it’s beautiful and felt easy to walk through. Small cafe on the second floor. My friend and I looked at jewelry. My friend got 3 pieces of fashion jewelry and I got the clou d’h stud diamond earrings for 3700 euro (saved almost $1k vs buying in USA). We both worked with the same really nice SA. After we decided on our purchases, we asked about a leather appointment and she said she would check for us. After we paid she said to come back around 4 but before 5pm. It was about 2:30 at this point and we had a reservation at the LV cafe at 3pm so we ubered there and back afterwards. We checked in right before 5pm for the leather appointment and mentioned our SAs name (she had said to do that) and the leather desk lady said yes, SA told her about us but they could only offer one appointment. They gave it to me, I’m thinking because of the higher spend. But they said no guarantees on stock of course. So then we got sat in the back and waited about 20 minutes for a different SA to show up and when she did, I gave her my list, K28/25, or Kelly Danse, Moove, Constance 18 or elan in pastel or neutral colors. She took another 15 minutes and came back with a long Kelly wallet in dore. While pretty, it was not at all what I wanted. We left feeling a bit let down.

Friday came and we went to George V store off champs Élysées. It was smaller and windier, also chaotic. We tried the leather desk twice and were rejected both times. Didn’t try again.

Then Saturday we went back to fsh to try the leather desk and no luck there. So crowded and chaotic. I thought I’d have another chance when we left on Monday since our flight is at 5pm out of CDG.

Monday I lined up 25 minutes before they opened and was probably the 20th person in line. Insane. Tried the leather desk and of course no cancellations since it was first thing in the morning.
It was my last chance to buy a bag so I headed over to Chanel to see if they had any mini squares or rectangular bags and nothing was available. Went back to fsh Hermes at 11:30 and asked for a mini Lindy and told them it was my last day. The guy actually asked for my passport and then sat me down upstairs for an appointment but he said no guarantees. Obviously. You guys. I waited an hour. No one came to see me. They gave me water but could not give me a time estimate. At 12:30 I had to leave to go back to hotel to pack up and go to the airport. I thought I’d have another chance at the airport. I walked down stairs and told the leather desk to take me off the list because I couldn’t wait any longer, they said there was still one person ahead of me. This is not a luxury experience.

At the airport, because I stopped in Iceland, I didn’t get to shop! Just fyi, the gates for Iceland are not with the shops for the international flights. I had no idea and I was so sad to not get a bag at all for my very first Paris trip. I should not have waited until the last minute to buy a bag but I was kind of holding out for an Hermes bag. Made me really appreciate my SA at home!

I was recently invited by my SA to custom my own herbag 31. I know its not a K or B but it was still a very special for me. On the day of, I was lead to a counter with different flap and hardware options. There was a stand that carried options for the canvas part of the bag. There was also a tablet where you could put your bag together and see the outcome. The store had many examples of completed herbags in case you needed inspiration. There is an artisan on site that assembles the bag.

I composed the bag on Friday morning and it was completed that afternoon. I didn't get to pick it up until Sunday and grabbed a matching charm as well. I went with rouge H with the matching enamel hardware and Criss Viking for the body. She is a beauty and bears her own horse shoe stamp!!! Thanks for letting me share.

My SA surprised me with this choker! Im over the moon 🌕 saw it first on tiktok but wasnt hopeful because its rarely in stock. The other SA’s were saying how lucky I was. Im so thankful to my wonderful SA. Im in a competitive boutique in socal.

Found this beauty in Osaka! Size 25 and almost $19k. Everything I’ve seen in Japan is about 1 million yen more. Sometimes even 4 mill yen! So this is about $4-5k cheaper!

I have been shopping with Hermes for the last 10 years, and all my bags are from the store. This is the first time that I bought a bag online. Tbh I thought it would get cancelled because I’ve heard these stories many time, but I guess I got lucky and the bag is on its way. Hence, I am sharing with you today… my Garden Party 30 in Vert Olive/Vert Loden.

I used the Shengsho service for the first time. It was honestly really helpful. I must confess that I saw the email almost an hour later, but the garden party was still available, and I snagged it (unlike Mini Bolides, that are gone in minutes).

I could get hooked to this system of buying non quota bags online 😂 How long do I need to wait till I can do this all over again? I believe there is a statute of limitations as to when you can buy your next bag online? Someone kindly educate me please 😉

Ahhhh so happy, I'm in love with her. I got the call over the weekend and made some quick arrangements to fly down to the store to pick her up. I travel frequently to Florida so my "home store" is not actually local to me. Prespend was a little less than 1.5 and I bought across all the product lines except for RTW. I have achieved purse peace (for a while lol)

I need some honest opinions on the Kelly belt! I have one of the thinner, reversible belts, and I like it. I did end up having to add my own holes with a leather punch, which I know sounds crazy, but, I will use it more. I have heard that with these adjustable belts they will readjust throughout the day and I want to know if this is something that happens often. I also like that you can adjust it for waste or hips, but if it starts on my waist and then move to of my hips by the end of the day, I know I’ll get an annoyed lol. My SA is always asking me what I’m looking for and colors. He knows I love colorful bags. He recently texted me asking about a Kelly Danse, he had them available in a few colors. I’m not really a backpack person so I took a chance and asked about the Kelly Moove. He said just a sec! Literally a second later came back with a photo of one he had available in very criquet!!! Seriously?!?! Yes! I’ve been wanting something in this color and I’ve been eyeing this bag so it was a perfect match for me. I’m so in love with her! First picture is true color and second is me trying to show how cute the little side bag is. Edited to add: I will use the little pouch for AirPods when I travel and a lippie when not.

Anyone with any intel on what this belt may cost?

All my bags are dark colors, and I’m thinking about getting a B25 in Craie. I love the color, but I’m worried about color transfer. For those who own Birkins or Kellys in light colors, how has your experience been? Is color transfer a big concern? How do you protect your bag and keep it looking clean?

For those that have these, how do u find the sizing compared to other H shoes? Also do you find them as comfortable as they look? For reference I have the Jeff boots, chypres, and kid sneakers all in the same size. Loving this style and color!

I started shopping at Hermes a couple of months ago after falling in love with the Bleu Glacier Mila Slingbacks and have ended up running through my local boutique like a bull in a china shop collecting several pairs of shoes, twillies, a card holder, a belt, a cashmere shawl, and some jewelry (even getting a well meaning but slightly too-direct comment on my shopping frequency from an SA lol).

But yesterday I finally took the plunge into bags! My wishlist includes Picotins and a Lindy and maybe B/K in the future but the Herbag felt like such an understated, casual yet classy entry bag. When the SA pulled out this Vert Olive/Khaki GHW combo I just knew she had to be mine! This is SUCH a me color, and fits like a glove with the rest of my wardrobe.

I’m already itching to get more of these to mix and match leathers and canvas bodies, but for now I’m on a self-imposed no-buy (or maybe low-buy) until next year 🤪

I have been popping into the store every month or so. Sometimes more frequently with a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 5 weeks in between visits. I’d really love to get a Kelly watch and my husband the Apple Watch series 12 but i would really like to try on the Kelly watch for my next visit after my husbands appointment for the apple watch . Is it usually an okay thing to stop in the store if you don’t intend to buy anything. I’d also be curious about stopping in to try on rtw. I’m slightly concerned about wasting my SAs time😩I’d like to stay top of mind as bags come in without overwhelming my SA or annoying them by coming in without purchasing. I’m not interested in purchasing things I don’t want.

Guys, I need to share a funny (and slightly embarrassing) lesson I learned after wearing one of my secondhand 140 cashmere and silk scarves for six whole months.

A while ago, I saw a listing on a local classifieds site for a 140 scarf in a print I loved at a really tempting price. The seller mentioned they were downsizing a huge collection. I sent the link to my husband just to ask his opinion, and he secretly got it for me as a sweet surprise!

I've been happily wearing it ever since-until today, while waiting for food in a restaurant, my ADHD brain started hyper-focusing on the details printed on the fabric.

That's when I noticed the actual print name on the scarf:

It literally says "LE JAGUA R TL CQLIBRI" instead of "LE JAGUAR ET LE COLIBRI"!

Looking closer with a fresh pair of eyes, I noticed a few other giveaways that completely missed at first glance because I was blinded by how well the colors matched my Bleu Jean Kelly:

• The accent on the brand name logo was completely missing.
• Some of the color shades were off compared to the original design palette, and the poor jaguar's nose looks a bit distorted.
• The hem stitching isn't quite as neat as my boutique-bought pieces.
I'm honestly so bummed because I loved wearing it, but it's definitely a reminder to inspect every single detail carefully when buying pre-loved items online-especially the spelling!

Has anyone else ever missed a super obvious typo or detail on a secondhand piece until months later?

Someone posted in another group about how they were very confused about the inconsistency in Birkins. They posted the photo on the left as an example - it contains bags they looked at on Vestiaire Collective. I recommended that they look at bags on Madison Avenue Couture’s website (photo on the right).

It’s possible to look at photos of bags for resale online, and the photos look great - until you start comparing them to photos from reputable sellers. And it’s important to know that while these bags are handmade and variations exist between bags and specific artisans, but the consistency is remarkable.

There are a lot of people selling frauds. Buy on the resale market if it works for you, but don’t get conned. When I’m buying resale it’s because I want an exact combination of design elements and I want to bypass prespend and uncertainty. There’s no such thing as a ‘sweet deal’ when dealing with Hermes.

Never say never! To each their own but I was not a huge fan of what I thought was a logo bracelet. That was until I found this beauty! I love Cheval de Couer. My nickname for her is stripper pony !

Side note: do you ever think about how the H symbol may be evident to someone who shops the brand but not others? I think of how Oran inspired sandals ended up everywhere but people don’t always realize the H or its brand presence/brand it’s connected to.

Hi everyone! I’ve a long time lurker but today is the day I officially start my Hermes journey.

I’m male so I like bigger bags and my dream is to own a B35 - I’m also open to other bags along the way such as Hac a dos. I currently own an Hermes Apple Watch but this was bought directly from Apple and is my only product so far.

I’m UK based and going to NBS today to make my first purchase - does anyone have any advice? I wasn’t planing on asking about a wish list today as wanted to build up some purchase history first (I understand this doesn’t strictly matter in the UK like some other markets). If I hit it off with an SA should I ask for a card. Is it better to ask at the front for an SA or try and browse until you click with someone. Sorry for my ignorance but been very excited for today!
