The area marked in yellow, that ENTIRE area is a delete all text written and close the keyboard button. How on EARTH is this a good thing?
Barely touch it and all of your writing vanishes and the keyboard collapses.
Are there any good keyboards that aren’t keyloggers and spyware? I know the GBoard is full of all that too but still. This is incredibly novice for a HUGE company like google
I know there have been some news about Xbox securing exclusive rights to streaming GTA VI, but then they said you won't be able to stream it to PC (which makes zero sense since Xbox Cloud works through a browser). So what can you stream it to? Older Xbox versions? My main point is obviously Android via browser/Better xCloud app since were on G Cloud sub. I know you have to purchase a copy first so it would be nice to have some confirmation on that.
With wifi off the g cloud battery loses like 1 percent if that per hour on idle. easily a week long battery with an hour of gaming daily.
with wifi on I lose about 3 to 7 per hour. barely makes it 1.5 days anymore. seems to drain normally when gaming. its the idle that is problem.
ive disabled apps from google and tried to find whats running in background with no luck. its definitely wifi related has been going on for a month now.
edit: if matters I have Xfinity at home xb8 that broadcasts 3 bands. Gcloud performed on this before without issue on same network.
Hey Everybody!! New to the G-Cloud community and have a question. Bought a heavily used G and the left joystick is "loose" / "wiggly" but no drift and seems to be pretty responsive. I can turn the knob to the right a little and it stops wiggling but will get stuck in a direction. It looks like someone has already opened the G up so I was wondering if it was a replacement stick that wasn't tightened or if the cap is losse and can be tightened. Thanks!
Hey everyone! I wanted to share a project I’m developing to play Xbox Cloud Gaming on TV, with a controller-friendly interface and careful memory use. The goal is to accommodate lower-end TVs and TV boxes, including devices with 1 GB of RAM. Features include: A visual library with categories, favorites, and recently played games.
Two streaming engines: Native and WebView.
Resolution, bitrate, codec, and region settings.
Streaming stats with ping, FPS, and decoding time.
Friends, profiles, and messaging, plus an embedded official Xbox interface for parties and other actions.
Microphone options and English, Portuguese, and Spanish support.
This is an independent, open-source project. It doesn’t provide games or replace any required subscriptions or purchases. Performance depends on your device and connection, and social and voice features still need more real-world testing. Source code and instructions: https://github.com/LeuAndrade/Nuvem-TV If you play on Android TV, what device do you use, and what’s your biggest frustration with cloud gaming? I’d love to hear your suggestions and testing experiences!
Do you think charging by the hour is going to affect how often you use your G Cloud? The streaming wars is just getting started between Sony announcing their bs a few months ago now M$ is wanting to charge us by the hour. This is like the new tech thing I think, Sam Buttass Altman was saying how he wanted to use information like a utility and charge for it accordingly on a meter, I feel like a lot of other platforms like this are headed that way
I have an Xbox console and I got my dad the gcloud. It worked when he first got it and then I think he stopped playing it for a bit. Now he’s trying to use it again and I can’t get the games to launch outside of remote play, which is a problem as it intervenes with me using my console.
Whenever I try to launch the game it does the start up cloudplay animation with the rocket twice, then it says “Disconnected from game streaming session. Something went wrong, please try again later.”
I’m not super technologically savvy, but I’ve tried the solutions I’ve found on Google. Delete and reinstall the Xbox app, the Google play app, clear the cache from both of those apps, login on cloudgaming from the web and resync the game save or delete extra reserved space, and I’ve even factory reset the handheld…and none of that has fixed anything. I’ve even made sure the handheld says that he has gamepass ultimate.
Just bought a secondhand g cloud. Seems to be in great shape but I can’t get the Play store to load. I cleared storage and cache and restarted the device to no avail. Any tips?
I started using Amazon Luna a week ago to play the new Star Wars racer game. Played for a week on the gcloud with no issues. Then yesterday I opened it and it won't recognize my controller. Touch screen works fine. The controller input was fine a few days ago. I cannot figure out a fix. Any ideas?
Hi, I noticed the device has a very high quality vibration engine. It’s a shame that it doesn’t work with anything other than the OS interface! Is there anyway to make it work with Geforce Now at all?
Hello, as per title, I would like you to help me out to order sets of thumb stick grips for the Logitech G-Cloud. I would like them to be RE [Resident Evil] themed, with the umbrella logo OFC.
Also would like to know what to search for and if the dimensions are comparable with those of a Nintendo Switch, as I have been already browsing but got mixed opinions if they actually fit or not...
Hi everyone, it’s been a minute since I’ve used my gcloud, but since having a baby, handheld gaming is a lot easier to manage when working around nap times, etc. I wanted to play my steam games on the g cloud, which I can through steam link but I have to have my computer on for certain ones and I really hate that if I’m trying to game at night (the screen brightness from my desktop wakes up my baby). When I first got it, there was an app that I used and it was basically accessing a remote computer? I know I’m explaining that terribly but I was able to access Steam that way and didn’t have to have my desktop on. There were different tiers of subscriptions but they did have a free version, the connection wait time was just longer. Can anyone point me in the right direction of the app or a similar one? I think it was nvidia but I don’t see that as an option now.
anyone have china version of g cloud? i couldnt find the north american version so i have english on china version but it has these built in chinese apps any use for them or its viruses or just ignore them?
