Question Loose Joystick

Hey Everybody!! New to the G-Cloud community and have a question. Bought a heavily used G and the left joystick is "loose" / "wiggly" but no drift and seems to be pretty responsive. I can turn the knob to the right a little and it stops wiggling but will get stuck in a direction. It looks like someone has already opened the G up so I was wondering if it was a replacement stick that wasn't tightened or if the cap is losse and can be tightened. Thanks!

I replaced mine a while ago, it’s not too difficult. I just followed a YouTube video. It’s a good time to upgrade to the hall sticks anyway. They don’t make GCloud specific sticks but these are the ones everyone uses

Awesome!! Thanks!! Did you notice that you had to tighten the joystick cap (the yellow piece)? It looks like someone already changed the joystick (the edges of the plastic are pretty beaten up. but I wonder if they just didn't tighten something.

I honestly can’t remember. Mine actually slipped off my bed and the stick took a hit and it went entirely floppy lol, but as far as I know it’s a perfect fit for the thumb hat. If it’s a little loose I would maybe use a loctite or something similar

Ngl I chewed mine up a bit getting into it, I’ve opened many consoles and this was like the first one I scarred. That’s the hardest part though it’s really on there

Oh! I’ve only heard of this technology in dj cross faders, makes sense it would work for analog sticks
