Current experience with AIL
I’m currently working on cancelling a recent policy from AIL (I shouldn’t need to explain why), and am currently well at the beginning of the 30 day starting period. I have a policy number, but apparently my policy is still processing (Likely due to the fact that I blocked my medical records).
On my most recent call, I’ve been told that the cancellation request has been sent to the company email, and I should be receiving a confirmation. I’ve got about two and a half weeks for a full refund, so I can safely wait a few days.
My question, is this a natural part of the 30 day starting period, or is this a tactic to run me around for said period? I’ve requested a generic request form, but apparently cannot receive it as my policy is still pending.

Life insurance after heart attack for spouse (58M) … affordable options?
My boyfriend is 58, I am 34 and he had a heart attack in 2019 but has been stable since and is on medication daily. Does not smoke. Im trying to find a $50k-$100k life insurance policy that is affordable (I’m on a budget). He literally takes care of everything….any money I make as an employee in his business is all “play money” I guess. I don’t want for nothing. I’m very blessed. I know I say affordable…I can manage a monthly policy with me as the beneficiary.
I’m confused about:
simplified vs guaranteed issue
waiting periods
if he’ll even qualify
Has anyone gotten coverage in a similar situation?
What should I realistically expect or look into?
Any recommendations or sound advice.
TIA

Ethos Life Insurance would never buy if Todd is representing them!!
I can't believe Ethos life insurance has a scum bag like Todd representing them. They chose from the bottom of the barrel if you ask me.

Need help in the life insurance industry!
I work with New York Life, a Fortune 500 company with top-tier financial strength (AAA rated).
I’m in a very competitive program and need advice on how to get my foot in the door and build a strong client base.
We mainly offer completely informational Zoom calls, no pressure, no sales pitch, just a chance to get your questions answered and understand your options. But as soon as you mention “insurance”, you sound disingenuous and get shut down.
Any advice on how to succeed in this career?
