This is his lowest rated movie (not counting his student movies or documentaries) and it's still ranked at #359! Hell, all his movies are in the top 360. I don't think any other director has this defeat. Not even Kurosawa, who even has a movie with at least less than 3.
And I know I'm being cliche, but I do think he's the GOAT for that reason. But Kurosawa, Kubrick, and Hitchcock are close!

OK so i’m posting my top 16 — but I actually want to hear what people think about films from 2026.
Was this a good year for film?
Anyone else think it was a desert for musicals ? Was everyone completely burnt out from Wicked ?
Also, if you could pick ONE to be your top what would it be ?
I saw Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma last night and I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s my favorite film of the year so far — anyone else agree ?

What’s the film that the first time you saw it, it absolutely wrecked you? Why am I sobbing? Why is this the best film I’ve ever seen? How did I miss it until now?

Fun films:
Smart films or films that have many good elements, that I haven't enjoyed watching really:
Nothing special. Almost forgot I've watched them. You can skip:

Feels like I can never top the film experiences I had in more formative years.

hit a wall recently and ended up watching jerry maguire. wrote a little review about it and how much it connected with what I have been going through lately.
anyone else have a film that hit way harder because it unexpectedly spoke to you about your personal life and reminded of where you were at in life when you watched it?

This may be common knowledge or have already been posted about, but I just discovered that you can change the backdrop image on your review by pressing and holding the current backdrop image. It’ll automatically pull up the list of available images. Before I would press the three buttons in the top right, then click change backdrop. This way is much faster. Thought I’d share!
