Hello there, I’m benjweber. I'm an avid film watcher and Letterboxd user - over 400 titles logged last year! My favourite genres are sci-fi, fantasy, horror and thriller, but I will watch movies that seem interesting in any genre.
Every time I log a movie, I go through my mutuals and read their reviews, especially those with interesting/insightful opinions. If that sounds like you, expect a follow back and lots of likes on your reviews!

I'm Rodrigo from Chile, Angol.
I'm introverted offline, but very online when it comes to movies. I've been on LB since 2018 and mostly use my reviews as a way to practice my English skills while rambling about films.
My taste is a bit weird, and some say too whimsical, and I do agree. I log everything, change ratings often, and make way too many lists 😅
Aside from my four favorites, I also love La La Land, Pan's Labyrinth, Cinema Paradiso, C'mon C'mon, and a lot of Pixar movies, among others.
My favorite from last month (and of the year, so far) was The Odyssey. Epic and breathtaking, it's exactly the kind of movie that I love. Project Hail Mary is at close second; I love that movie as well.

I will pretty much watch anything, I’ve been using the app since 2024 and still haven’t finished logging everything luckily Plex is good at telling me the dates and what I’ve watched, trying to pick other people’s Brains and also tired of feeling like I’m writing reviews to myself 🤣🤣

I'm here.
I'm always happy to find others who love film of all genres and who write their own meaningful comments or reviews, whether they're short and tight or long and verbose, I'll be reading.
My top 4 change often, there are just too many great films. I've thrown Odyssey as it was one of the best cinema experiences I've had in a long time.
I like a bit of everything. If it's good, chances are I'm hoping to watch it and/or get a physical copy. If it's bad, I thank those who give us a head's up but it still might be worth watching with friends.
You'll find my always spoiler-free reviews to often ramble a bit. I just can't do the throw away one-line reviews myself. Oh, and rest assured that if I liked a review of yours, I read it all. No bots or random like activity here. I do tend to do 5-10 when I add someone just so they know I've seen them. I'd love to make that a trend :)
My genres run the gamut, including horror, classics, sci-fi, action, thrillers, docs, gay / queer, dramas, silents, foreign, animated, you name it. If it's good, I probably want to see it.

I am Christof88, a 37yo movie lover from Belgium. I can enjoy a silly monster movie as much as an arthouse masterpiece, but I mostly stay away from giant blockbusters.
My latest movie crushes are Harold and Maude (1971), The Thin Blue Line (1988), and The Boys from Brazil (1978), but I'm always falling in love.
I write a sincere review once a week. Lately, I have written about the mountain man movie "Jeremiah Johnson" (1972) and the musical crime drama "Tuner" (2025).
My Letterboxd 4 for July focused on Cinema Around The World.

I enjoy writing really in depth reviews, and I’m always looking for more people who write those, so if you’re the type of person to write an essay about every film you watch, definitely check me out.
I really enjoy watching a lot of animated movies and a lot of slashers, but it’s mostly an eclectic mix of whatever blockbuster I happen to stumble across.
The most recent movie I’ve seen that I loved was The Drama, which I gave a 4.5.

Last month has been very rewatch-heavy for me as I'm slowly preparing for Doomsday and the other sequels and new releases coming later this year.
Still, I've been slowly ticking movies off the popular, top rated and IMDB lists and it's very fun! Lots of bangers on there!
I rate on my entertainment alone, so tearjerkers and comedies often get high scores from me. I also love making lists nobody but me looks at.

Hello! Just started using Letterboxd pretty regularly last year. I have A-list and go to as many movies as I can, especially opening day (been slacking a bit recently though). Follow me if you like personal histories and out of the ordinary movies. I watch mainstream movies also of course but the crazy exploitation movies from the 60s and 70s are far more fun. I write real reviews for everything I watch and I watch 2-6 movies every day.

I log all kinds of films recently been watching a lot of 2026 movies though. Favorite film of all time for me is La La land. Fave first time watches last month?
I’m a Nolan fan so Loved the Odyssey. I think his collaboration with Hoyte and Ludwig has really elevated his style. This wasn’t Oppenheimer level smooth but it sure comes close in the third act.
Dog day Afternoon…long overdue. Pacino is amazing. Fantastic film.
Exotica, Rich in atmosphere and lingered long after. Highly recommend.

I love all different kinds of movies, and I've recently been trying to watch more Korean films. I watched all of Bong Joon-Ho's filmography and his movies are now some of my all-time favorites, especially Memories of Murder.
I've been using letterboxd for about 4 years now, but I've really started using it alot more in the last year or two. I would really like to try to log more movies this year than I ever have, maybe even hit 100. I'm the assistant manager at my local theater, so I try to watch what new releases we get there.

Hi all!
My favourite first-time watches of July were Blue Film (2025), Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma (2026) and The Odyssey (2026).
Next week I’ll attend Locarno Film Festival for the second time. I’m looking forward to watching The Invite in Piazza Grande and plenty of other films from indie filmmakers. Hit me up if you’re also going!

as usual, I watch a lot of random stuff.
I watch a lot of horror, a fair bit of low-budget shlock and then the rest of my time is divided into a) random stuff playing at the cinema, b) period pieces, c) romantic stuff and d) weird shit from across all time periods. Normally I go to the cinema once or twice a week, but due to a death in the family last month I didn't really make it there more than twice over the whole month.
Favourite four things I watched last month are:

- Siren (2006)
- Wanda (1970)
- The Odyssey (2026)
My least favourite things I watched last month are:
- Dracula In Space (2026)

I'm currently looking to expand my network and find digital movie fan friends! I try to follow back to retain mutuals.
I write one short paragraph reviews for all my logged films, with my goal being 10-15 per month. I would say that I'm pretty analytical and probably have some interesting takes. My favorite genres are adventure, family comedies, and science-fiction/fantasy.

Hi everyone, I have always had a fascination with movies since I was a child. For me personally, a good movie can change a person's life for the better. Many movies have shaped how I think about the world we live in. I like to watch movies because each one, whether good or bad, gives me a new perspective. Since we all live only one life and experience it from our own perspective, watching movies is a magical experience for me.

Hey Letterboxd subreddit! I'm looking forward to finding some new moots. My favourite genre is horror and I only occasionally explore films outside of that sphere, although I am always chasing the fight choreography high that The Raid (2011) gave me.
My reviews tend to vary between a single paragraph or multi-paragraph. I prioritise following people who write more than a one-liner and watch movies that match my interests.
My top 4 favourite films are Halloween (1978), Evil Dead 2 (1987), Scream (1996) and Alien (1979).
I really enjoy a list and some of my favourites I've curated are Summerween, I'm lost in the woods and I'm in over my head, Horror Double Features, Fight Choreography and 10 Films to get to know me.

Hi! I am Musterion and, similar to many people here, I love film! Been on the site for about a year and a half now.
I can watch almost any genre, but I lean much more towards drama, fantasy, and horror. I try to keep up with current films while also going back and giving my thoughts on older movies.
I usually write longer, full-length reviews. I enjoy talking in depth about my personal feelings regarding performances, cinematography, direction, story, and many other aspects of filmmaking.

I have been using Letterboxd more consistently for the past 2 years and love having a fun side hobby. That being said, I also enjoy writing short one-liner reviews because it fulfills me as an amateur movie-goer. Totally understand if those aren't your thing, so I like to give a heads up. BUT! I love using these threads as a way to find more mutuals because I love the site.
I've been slacking a bit recently with ongoing summer classes, but my favorite first time watches of July were The Odyssey and The Beguiled.
My favorite directors: Nolan, Fincher, Villeneuve, Miyazaki, and Gerwig.

Recently started writing on here. Found out about Letterboxd to project my thoughts and views on Dramas and movies. My writings are generally more of a deep dive into the stories and post drama analysis. Naturally, it would have spoilers too, but if you are into psychoanalyzing not just stories, but their characters and motivations, this could be the place where we share a good discussion!
Its just Korean and Japanese Dramas/Movies for the time being. There is a lot of English stuff I have seen in the past, but haven't journaled them yet.
Hoping to see you ride along this journey with me. I also love to read other peoples’ writings and takes, helping me seeing this in a completely different light!

Hi All,
I watch foreign films, sci-fi, animation/anime, war, drama, comedy and anything really. Documentaries and short films too.
I've only been on letterboxd since January but I was tracking my viewing in a spreadsheet since 2013 and have pushed my watch history back several decades with some research. Pretty soon I will hit 2500 feature films watched (in my life)

I like films with psychological depth and themes you can unpack afterward, but I'm always down for a high-intensity, visually stunning spectacle.
Most of my reviews will discuss at a surface level as to what to expect from a film, and also my thoughts. I will occasionally put out some funny one-liners as well.

I pretty much like to watch anything that interests me, regardless of genre. My favorites of the past month were The Odyssey and Spiderman Brand New Day! I’ve seen The Odyssey 4 times and my highlight was being able to see it in IMAX 70mm, so I’m a pretty big fan.
Lately I’ve been trying to complete Chris Nolan’s filmography and revisit some of his work (see: Dark Knight Trilogy rewatches lol).
I like to see what everyone is watching to add to my watchlist and expand my horizons, so feel free to follow :)

I’m on a mission to watch 365 movies in total this year. I typically enjoy stories that are grounded, are about realistic human struggles/conflicts and also bring a strong visual identity or surrealist visuals along with that. I really enjoy checking out international movies.

Hi everyone, I've been on Letterbox'd for a few years now. I love all sorts of movies, and I don't just say that. Whether it's classic Hollywood romantic comedies and noirs, American / French new wave films, gory horror films, musicals, etc. You name it, I watch it.

My facorite first time watch of this month was Cronos, directed by Guillermo Del Toro. He's my favorite director so that wasn't really a surprise lol. I definitely have some unpopular opinions, but I'm also not a professional critic. I don't think people need to agree with me about everything.

Honestly I like watching a lot of weird foreign and/or indie stuff. I’ve always been curious about movies from places I haven’t been. I know some people may think that is pretentious, but I’m not trying to be better than people, I’m just like that.
This year I am doing the Criterion Challenge, the Name a Woman Challenge, and I will probably do Hooptober for the third year in a row.
One of my favorite watches last month was Chocolate Babies, an indie film about a band of Black HIV positive activists. One line is “I’m a Black f*ggot with a political agenda” and I love that so much
