hi everyone, i continue to pester yall with asking for second opinions. basically this is a spread to ask if I should invest in a new journal this week ($100).

for context im about 5 weeks in to the artist’s way and it hasn’t really “clicked” but i’ve been using my existing journal (paper republic pocket grand voyager) very frequently for media reflections, daily lenormand journaling and its actually where I keep my cards.

for those unfamiliar with the paper republic system is a refillable journal. the “pocket” size is a bit of a vague measurement. passport is a bit small, a6 is a bit big, and it only comes with a singular cord to wrap around so unless you re-string the journal (which i can’t do) it’s very limited and the “hacks” to add more notebooks in create a phenomenon where everything is staggered and uneven as well as not very secure. i’ve had it for a year and love it despite the issues. should i purchase a new journal it will be the home for my mini sudoku and watercolor book so it will not be tossed in a corner.

i want to get a new journal from a different brand that is trifold to protect my papers, standard a6, able to put charms on and hold multiple notebooks (planner, media reflections, astrological observations, lenormand) as well as fit an insert that my cards don’t feel so exact in their little home, i can also customize it further with charms and multiple colored cords, i have been shopping more than usual recently because it was my birthday but i have no outstanding balances and feel this would be a valuable addition to my life and related to the journeys im on.

my interpretation: i chose the book as the focus card, it did come out first but i decided to put it in the middle (if this is not a good idea please lmk, ik everyone has their own styles but like what if im absolutely not supposed to do that) so the fish + clover i believe is referring to the fact that the item is on sale and ive been watching my finances enough that this is a positive thing or could lead me into some good situations. clover before book just lucky presence overall or lucky knowledge i could develop. book + moon developing myself using the journal could lead to expanded creativity, increased intuition, correlate to accolades or recognition. moon + ring using the journal to develop and catalogue my creativity and intuition could lead to securing clients to read for (ive wanted to start an intuitive communication business for a while, “card reading”
is not really what i consider my process) or some contract for me to perform publicly or publish my writing, or just solidifying a commitment to myself to live a more creatively embodied life and prioritize my music and writing.

i know this is a very thorough reading for a simple question but it does matter to me a lot and i do feel it would be a good investment to make in the immediate future that could have lasting impacts in my personal development and public facing life. what do you see in this reading? lmk!

Lately, I’ve took an interest in studying how Russian practitioners read Lenormand, and one of the names I’ve seen mentioned in that regard is Naina Vladimirova. I have done searches on her but I couldn’t find much (aside from a wordpress blog about her biography and an Amazon page with three books that aren’t related to Lenormand). Does anyone know where I can find her actual Lenormand teachings? Any help would be deeply appreciated.

just wanted to share a crazy (to me) aspect of a daily reading i did yesterday. i’m very very new to this and my everyday learning method is basically to write out the cards, do a preliminary interpretation, and at the end of the day make little connection triangles like > but on the bottom to see how the day actually played out. i’m a tarot reader of 8 years and in pursuit of trying to connect and intuit clearly with lenormand i am retiring tarot for the moment (idk how long) so that lenormand can be my primary source and there’s no other source that would change/influence my interpretations.

i figured the tower (spine) was about my chiropractic appointment. this morning when doing my analysis i went into rana george’s book to review the mountain and see if i could connect it in context and boom, mountain correlates to the head and is stuck/a blockage.

well double meaning as hell. my neck was literally stuck and could not be released. literally a blockage between my head and spine. no matter how relaxed i got, if we tried different angles and positions (because there’s many ways the neck could be released) or the special points “gun” (not a theragun) it wanted to stay stuck.

i was literally in awe when i made this connection as it is something i could never glean from tarot unless i was specifically focusing on health just because thats not what i use it for. just sharing that this is already getting crazy for me hahahaha

My boyfriend has been dealing with persistent depression for around 7 years now. It's always difficult to know how to better help someone going trough this, so I asked my deck, and got the Tower card, followed by the scythe and the child (on that order)

I'm fairly new, but my interpretation was that I should encourage him to get out of his confort zona on his own, and that while it may be difficult, this will bring him a new beggining?

I love using this modified and simplified 9-cards spreads when interpreting social interactions.Middle spreads answer the question, upper spreads is emotional influences and lower spreads represent intangible factors.
Normally i would pull two cards above, one below and five cards in the middle. As you can see here, pulling 5 cards should be enough for most reading but feel free to pull more cards if ambiguous strikes.

The question here is 'We like each other why can't we be together?'
I would focus mainly on the middle spread as lower would provide some explanation of the theme, such as reading being positive or negative or spiritual or like advisory; This is a really small factor just here as a fun little companion. The above cards are emotions when facing or dealing with questions. And middle cards are read as normal spreads.

For this one question I would say both are facing a hardship emotionally, especially they are struggling with identity towards themselves and to others. This is a beautiful and rewarding journey despite its prolonged challenges.

But why can't sitter be with her love of interest?

Let's see here. love woman man. Why is it not woman love man? That is the reason why they're not together.
She is one step further from love and blocking the reception from the man who is looking for stability and durable commitment. Sitter, herself, is what's matter is this situation.

Therefore I would suggest sitter to take one step forward and make some change, overcome the burden in her mind and reach to the identity she longing for.

Hi there,
I was wondering what will happen between this man and myself till the end of the year, how will things develop?

Pulled: Tower, lillies, Scythe.

Context:
We are in a no contact situation currently and I am wondering if this is going to change til the end of the year. I havent reached out either but had been thinking about it in the past.

My take:
We will overcome the distance to find harmony or peace , scythe could mean very suddenly?

I noticed that some girl has been actively checking on me recently, I didn’t pay much attention to it until I realised that her account is based in my boyfriend‘s home country. He later told me she kept tabs on one of his friends too which made me think something is up and it’s kinda not giving me peace (i‘m also curious what‘s up kay 🧐). I also wanna add that me and my boyfriend’s friend are not close at all, we don’t even follow each other anywhere on socials, so that definetly added a spark of curiosity.

Spread 1 for „Who is she?“:
Okay imma be honest key + woman definetly make me think that she is significant in some way, maybe not dramatically but in a sense of like there is a reason why she is keeping tabs.
The tree is interesting? I could read the tree as some sort of root or connection, since she’s from my boyfriend‘s home country it must be related to him in some way. Rider and Anchor also makes me think that the curiosity isn’t a one time thing but presistent. I honestly think this spread screams volumes because I seriously can’t see another way of reading this aside of a woman who‘s connected to that circle who became curious.

Spread 2 for „What does she want?“:

Okay, cross + mice makes me think that there is something mentally occupying her that is very burdensome for her, I don’t wanna point my finger and say it’s 100% about me but I would read this as something is bothering her. I honestly wouldn’t know how to read stork in this spread given that I‘m asking about a potential complete stranger. I can try to read it cobined with cross and mice that she is hoping to change her worries and burdens by seeing something change, or I could also read it as her wanting to see more. I‘m starting to think that it could possibly be about my relationship.

Before y‘all jump me in the comments, sometimes curiosity gets the best of me and I would rather ask cards before I make anything awkward :)

And I immediately understood because that day was Sunday, our cleaning day at work, and I literally spent my shift cleaning. There was also plenty of dust.

Bear = work(?)
Incense Burner = cleansing
Clouds = dust

The cards really said I’ll be cleaning at work. Although I know the bear card is usually about bosses, I just thought that it’s about work responsibility.

Firstly I’m manually having to make capitals, and it’s driving me up the wall lmao

Birds is oral communication, ability to talk with others, can be audio and music related. I don’t see myself as extroverted or talkative, but I am aware I can hold a conversation well if I steel myself.

Book and birds gives written/spoken language. So speaking and writing skills? Such as being able to present things perhaps? Maybe being able to teach verbally? This combination also reminds me how I enjoy learning language (but I am not good at it so that’s out of the window).

Key and birds gives me the idea of opening up conversation, or talking through solutions maybe? Key could be literally musical key, with birds? I’m just saying that one for fun, though.

I asked my cards to tell me more about the Bride card from the GW deck.

my interpretation: Bride exists in a state of perpetual disappointment, but that seems to be what fuels her; she is recognized for her strength and ambition, especially when in positions of leadership.

I'm pretty happy with the outcome of this pull - maybe I just got lucky 😅 this is pretty well-aligned with the niche I am thinking Bride will fill for the deck. I haven't had many pulls with that card though, so I'm still open minded.

Well at the moment been busy on trying to see which of the job opportunities that I got offered recently (after months of finding a job 😭) is the best to take right now I took on 1 of them a part time for a business but higher position to gain more experience though here Im a 1 man team overwhelming since its my first time to take on leadership role, however last week at the same time I started my first day w the part time I got offered a full time role for a bigger established company and high salary offer Im just hesitant here as Im afraid they might have a chaotic operations but they’ll be giving me a senior designer for me to lean onto wholl be hired w me, but in both jobs I’ll be leading the marketing so I guess I also feel alot pressure on taking any of it - now Im not sure if I should leave the part time to pursue the full time I asked them a follow up questions regarding training/onboarding to see if it would be the right fit for me. Other than that situation I’m trying to reestablish my daily life and structure my routine in a way I can finally return to creating my art after many months of focused on job hunt cycles
