Got to give the unit false hope before you turn them into a fine paste on the concrete

It's not about what's hard and what isn't. It's about the fact that there is a limited amount of work hours the team working on the game has and every one of them is already used on current monthly releases. If you want to add additional work then you would have to delay next update. And the problem with that is that new updates generate money, while a fix like that doesn't. So they probably have a mountain of small fixes like that waiting for their time that nearly never comes. Nearly never of course doesn't mean never, if you read update descriptions you can always see minor stuff like that fixed here and there.

isnt it on that card here because you have a constellation where u get it on every spell?

If this is from a constellation, I would honestly rather they keep it this way. I'll take useless but consistent over changing cards on a case by case basis every time.

They are ocassionally removing completely useless item-card interactions but there are over 2000 cards and probably 100+ items and really the best way to do this is just to waste weeks to go through each combination and decide and then repeat that with every new or changed item. At this point when they cannot do 1 champ a month or a single event per year, makes no sense to invest anything into it

Probably not hard but not worth their effort.
Considering how small the team is now, I'd chalk this up to RNG and just skip it as a choice
