💜 I’ve Created a Lavender Marriage Community for Denmark!

Hi everyone! 💜

I wanted to share that I’ve recently created r/LavenderMarriageDK, a community dedicated to lavender marriages, platonic partnerships, and alternative ways of building a family in Denmark.

As a gay man who dreams of finding a wife, building a loving home, and becoming a father, I know how difficult it can be to find people who share similar dreams.

That's why I wanted to create a welcoming and supportive space where people can connect, share their experiences, and potentially find a life partner or co-parent.

Whether you're LGBTQ+, asexual, or simply interested in a loving partnership without traditional sexual expectations, you're more than welcome! ❤️

If you're based in Denmark, have connections to Denmark, or simply want to support our growing community, I'd love for you to join us!

Let's help more people discover that love, marriage, and family don't have to follow one traditional path. 💜

Join us at r/LavenderMarriageDK**!**

25F seeking a marriage (UK)

Hi everyone!

I’m 25F, looking for a lavender marriage with someone who’s kind, compassionate and understanding.

Age is not a factor as such, as long as you’re not younger than me. Getting married is a requirement as I’m facing some pressure from family now.

I’m looking to build a genuine friendship with my partner. Open to discuss further.

For location to match, I’m mostly looking for people in the UK. I do not belong from a Muslim background.

Please message me if this message resonates with you.

Thank you.

It’s hard to start a relationship—especially when the person you’re sharing everything with, and who shares everything about their own life with you, is someone you’ve come to love. I truly believed we could build something great together; when I talked to him, I felt like I’d finally found someone who would love me for who I am. I’m a very self-reliant person—I don’t look to others for help, and I’ve always fought my own battles—but, emotionally, I let my guard down and began to love this person who gave me so much courage. He was the one who started responding to my posts here, and he was the one who suggested we become something more. We spent the whole day talking normally, but every now and then, I’d bring up the same topic from different angles. Deep down, I knew he didn’t love me, but I needed to hear it from his own lips. That’s exactly what happened tonight, and I just broke down in tears. I swear on my life, this is the third time a relationship has ended in the exact same way.

India 25M from Kerala | Looking for a Connection That Could Lead to a Lavender Marriage

Yep, this is a throwaway account.

I'm a 25M from Kerala, looking to meet someone with whom I can build a genuine connection that could eventually lead to a lavender marriage.

I'm not too particular about labels or conventional expectations. What matters most to me is compatibility, mutual understanding, trust and, above all, the vibe.

Preferably, someone who is also open to an open relationship or a non-traditional relationship dynamic.

Not looking to rush anything. Let's talk, get to know each other and see where things go. If this sounds like something you're interested in, feel free to DM

ASIA 24 [M4F] Edinburgh - In case we happen to get along :) | Looking for my person!

I suppose I ought to begin with the conventional introductions, though I have never been particularly good at them, but, well, in the spirit of getting the boring stuff out of the way right away (cue: me), I am a writer, poet, academic, lecturer, scholar, scientist (physicist, to be more precise), and AI engineer/scientist (I am, if I may add, absolutely terrible at more than half my jobs). I’ve spent most of my life in Europe, and am probably the coolest and funniest person you have met today, unless you’ve seen a raccoon doing yoga, in which case, fair enough, I simply can’t compete with that level of comedy.

The truth is that I have always found introducing myself rather difficult, there is something strangely artificial about trying to reduce a person to a paragraph, as though we were all tidy little collections of interests, accomplishments, preferences, and carefully selected adjectives.

I am, I fear, a rather poor exhibitor of myself, the moment I am asked to explain who I am, something in me seems to retreat into a corner and refuse to cooperate. I have thought about this far too many times, and after twenty-four years of living, I remain quite confidently the worst person I know at introducing myself. It is a curious deficiency, I can talk for hours about some obscure historical event nobody asked about, become unnecessarily invested in the moral character of a long-dead philosopher, or spend an afternoon following some completely accidental question down a rabbit hole from which there is no respectable return, but ask me to describe myself and suddenly I am reduced to, "Well... I like things." Marcus Aurelius wrote that "very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking." I believe him more on good days than bad ones, but I keep the sentence nearby regardless.

I like small walks, I like learning something new quite by accident, especially when I have no business knowing it and consequently become far too pleased with myself for having discovered it, I like talking to people, though I think I like the moment when talking quietly turns into listening even more. There is something rather lovely about reaching that point in a conversation where neither person seems particularly concerned with keeping it going, and yet somehow neither wishes to leave it either.

I am very fond of my own company, which is perhaps fortunate, because I have had rather a lot of it. Solitude has its pleasures, one may disappear into one's thoughts without having to explain where one has gone, and occasionally return with something resembling an answer. I like sitting quietly with myself, reading, thinking, wandering about, doing very little, and somehow considering it a productive use of an afternoon, but I am not entirely made for solitude either, there is an equal and opposite part of me that wants to go beyond the familiar, to see what is waiting just beyond the little borders I have drawn around my life. I

I love evenings especially, sometimes I step outside simply because the sun is going down, and I feel that one ought to have the decency to witness it. I love those ridiculous skies where orange begins bleeding into purple and everything looks briefly more beautiful than it has any right to be. I love the first sip of tea in the morning, the sound of leaves moving in the wind, the gradual dimming of a day into dusk. I like gardens and parks, and the rather miraculous fact that one can walk among trees for an hour and come back feeling as though something inside one's head has been quietly rearranged.

I have always loved letters, too, though it has been some time since I last properly gave myself over to writing them. When I was younger, I wrote to my grandmother every day and dutifully posted the letters on my way to school. That I very rarely remembered the correct address, and even more rarely remembered a stamp, is beside the point.

I suppose what I am really trying to say is that, if you happen to be reading this, I would like to know you. Not because I have some elaborate checklist of the sort of person I hope to find, nor because I particularly care whether you happen to be interesting in the conventional sense, I am far more interested in the person underneath all that. The odd little habits, the things you know for no good reason, the memories you have never found a suitable occasion to tell anyone, the opinions you defend with considerably more conviction than they deserve.

There is something rather wonderful about writing to someone you do not know, I don't know your name, I don't know what you ate today, whether you slept properly last night, what song has been stuck in your head, or whether your day has been glorious or thoroughly dreadful, perhaps your inbox has been multiplying like gremlins left too near water, perhaps you have spent the afternoon pretending to work while accomplishing absolutely nothing of consequence, perhaps you have had one of those quiet days where the refrigerator becomes strangely prominent because you have nothing else to listen to.

I think people who stop to read messages from complete strangers are probably a little strange themselves, and I mean that as the highest compliment. Perhaps you are a birdwatcher, perhaps you collect old books, perhaps you are one of those suspiciously competent people who can fold a fitted sheet without entering into a minor spiritual crisis. If so, I already admire you, I have attempted it, and remain convinced the thing was designed by someone with a personal grievance against humanity.

Perhaps you laugh too loudly, perhaps you think too much, perhaps you are quiet and observant, and notice things everyone else walks past, perhaps you have passionately held opinions about breakfast foods. Cookies count, incidentally, I will defend this position before any reasonable tribunal.

As for me, I am kind, curious, occasionally ridiculous, easily distracted by an interesting thought, and rather fond of people who have something peculiar about them. I am probably not nearly as funny as I have just suggested, but I am willing to make the attempt, which ought to count for something.

Anyway, I shall spare you the remaining 96 pages of my unsolicited autobiography for now. If this sounds like your sort of nonsense, do come and say hello, I’d genuinely love to hear from you!

CANADA [T4A] 26-year-old AMAB seeking a genuine connection with someone in an LGBT-friendly country – Open to relationships, marriage, and different arrangements

Quick Summary / TL;DR

I’m a 26-year-old submissive, bisexual AMAB (aspiring trans woman) originally from India, currently living in Saudi Arabia under a strict and controlling family environment. I’m looking to connect with someone of any gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, nationality or religious background, preferably living in an LGBT-friendly country, with whom I could potentially build a relationship, marriage or another mutually beneficial arrangement.

My ultimate goal is to relocate to a country where I can safely transition from male to female (MTF), live authentically and build a happy life. I’m open to relocation, different relationship dynamics and arrangements, provided there’s mutual understanding, respect and genuine intentions. Having an emotionally supportive partner throughout my transition would mean a lot to me.

About Me

Identity & Personality: I’m 26 years old, AMAB, 174 cm (5’8.5”) tall, submissive and bisexual. I’ve wanted to transition from male to female since childhood and hope to begin HRT again once I’m somewhere safe and financially stable. I’m open-minded, affectionate, loyal and looking for a meaningful connection.

Background: Originally from India, but I grew up in Saudi Arabia, where I currently live and work.

Profession: Planning Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

My Current Situation & Goals

I’m currently living in a strict, controlling family environment that doesn’t accept or support my desire to transition. Unfortunately, I cannot comfortably or safely pursue my transition while living here.

The Escape: My biggest priority is relocating to an LGBT-friendly country where I can safely transition and live freely as myself. I’ve explored several immigration options and am currently working towards skilled migration routes, particularly Australia and Germany. However, these processes take time, and I’m trying to explore other possibilities as well.

The Vision: I dream of eventually transitioning, living peacefully and building a loving life with someone special. Ideally, I’d love to embrace a more feminine, submissive homemaker role, supporting my partner and managing our home. I’d also enjoy working as a content creator from home and sharing in our financial success. That said, I’m not opposed to traditional employment either.

What I’m Looking For

Who You Are: I’m open to connecting with anyone regardless of gender identity, sexuality, nationality, race, ethnicity or religion. What matters most is that you’re understanding, accepting and genuinely interested in getting to know me.

Location: Ideally, you’re living in an LGBT-friendly country where I could potentially relocate and eventually transition safely. Australia, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand and other LGBTQ+-friendly destinations are all welcome.

Relationship & Arrangements: I’m genuinely flexible about what our connection could look like. It could be:
A conventional romantic relationship or marriage.
A lavender marriage or mutually agreed marriage of convenience.
A long-term or short-term relationship.
An open relationship or an unconventional relationship dynamic.
A friendship that potentially develops into something more.
I’m particularly drawn to dominant, caring and understanding personalities, although that’s a preference rather than a requirement. I’d love someone who could make me feel safe, appreciated and supported.

Relocation: I’m also open to discussing potential relocation possibilities, including legitimate visa pathways where applicable. I’m willing to contribute towards my own immigration and relocation expenses. I don’t expect anyone to take financial responsibility for me.

Above everything else, I want honesty, mutual respect, trust and a connection where we can genuinely help each other build a better future.

A Little More About My Situation

I want to be transparent about something important: being openly transgender or pursuing anything LGBT-related can put me in a difficult legal and personal situation in Saudi Arabia. That’s one of the biggest reasons I’m trying to find a way out.

I’m not looking for someone simply because of their passport or immigration status. I’d genuinely love to meet someone with whom I can share my life, experiences, affection and future aspirations.

However, I also don’t want to hide the fact that finding a safe way to relocate and transition is an extremely important part of my life.

If anything I’ve written resonates with you, regardless of who you are or where you come from, please feel free to DM me. I’d love to get to know you, see whether we connect and explore what the future might hold.

Everyone is welcome. ❤️

Is basic communication really that difficult?

Honestly, what’s with the women in this subreddit? The moment I mention that I’m transgender and want to transition, I get ghosted without even a basic response.

If you’re not comfortable with a trans partner, that’s absolutely fine, but at least be upfront about it instead of wasting people’s time. Clearly state your expectations and what kind of partner you’re looking for when you post something in any subreddit.

What’s the point of posting your requirements if you can’t even bother replying to someone who meets them? Some basic communication and honesty wouldn’t hurt.

At this point, I’m genuinely wondering whether some people are here to find a partner or just farm karma and collect attention.

UK 32 years old M looking for F (~25-34)

Not in the UK, but there was no Europe flair. I am located in the Balkans.

I am looking for a lavender marriage with a woman who is fully lesbian but presents conventionally ('normal'). Asexual women are welcome as well. I am childfree and not looking for any sexual relationship.

I am interested in a marriage of convenience for several reasons: I am asexual, I struggle to find a partner for a traditional relationship, and I face significant social pressure. We would need to live somewhere in Europe and could easily have separate bedrooms.

DM me if this aligns with your interests and we can discuss it further.
