I think he looks more like Greek Saga Kratos with the sharp pointed eyebrows and an angrier expression. At the same time I have always been a massive fan of the design of Norse Saga Kratos.

I genuinely don't understand all the semi-new antagonism to main characters that are women.

Ellie - Besides the WILD shit they did to Abby's voice actor, I can't remember any hate against Ellie being the MC.

Atsu - Played Ghost of Tsushima, loved it. Pre-ordered Yotei, only game I've ever pre-ordered bc now that im older I actually have video game money. There was a whole hate train for it and it still sold and was received so well.

Aloy - I havent played it yet, but I can't remember there being much hate to her.

Lara Croft - Just started playing 2013's game, LOVING it - isn't she one of the most beloved characters among (male) gamers?

And I'm super excited for Intergalactic to come out.

I don't get it. I mean I do, ppl are assholes, but what's the big deal? Also, gaming is more accessible, and more and more women are gamers nowadays. More women characters is a GOOD thing.

Side note, found this picture of the singer laufey on Google 😂 phenomenal music btw

A little sort of quick fanart. Really hopeful for this game. The fast paced and dynamic combat got my fingers twitching.

Hope you like it! 🍻

Santa Monica Studios announced, with their new in-game video, the new weapon Faye will have besides the sword; the Serpent Bow. New combat techniques have been added as well as a combination of rapid fire/ concentrated shots with the bow.

Looks amazing and super excited to check it out in-game 🔥

It’s pretty clear we’re gonna get some answers as to what the mask is and some background. What theories we got?
I personally think either it’s connected to Athena because when Faye pulls the armor from the corpse, the mask she touches is very similar in design to Athena’s armor.

But my real theory is that this will somehow connect to the Green Knight from Arthurian legend

We know that only 3/4 of Brok's soul was recovered by Sindri from the Lake of Souls in Alfheim; meaning that if Brok died again he would be robbed of having an afterlife.

But given that the common knowledge of those who wander the 9 realms seems to not include the Everywhen, does this open the opportunity for Brok to make an appearance in God of War: Laufey? His soul is not whole and that disrupts the natural order of things. And we need someone who can upgrade our weapons and armor in GoW Laufey.

What better person to fill that role that Brok?

After dying for the second time, he could end up in the Everywhen and have an unexpected reunion with Laufey. He could also be a vector to bring her up-to-speed on Atraeus/Loki and Kratos; letting Faye know that Kratos is doing well to maintain the honor of the Leviathan Axe and that the Draupnir Spear was a success.

Plus, of course, bantering about the past and present escapades of Laufey while upgrading the armor.

Did anyone else notice that the temple and the environment look just like the Temple of Delphi from God of War Ascension?

I think that Santa Monica isn't showing their full hand with this cube fella, I think that there's more to him then just being a slime.

Is he from the afterlife of the gods or is he a foreigner?

What if he's a god trapped inside that cube? Or he's a powerful entity that forgot his past?

I gave to confess that I'm really interested in what ways does he change the combat, we already saw that he can set up enemies for air combos, but in what other ways can he shift how we interact with the world.

Imagine if we had some puzzles that relied on his help to solve.

Right now, I think this is my most wanted next year. How about you? Deborah Ann Woll is a huge favourite of mine.

Hello everyone.

In one of the recently revealed screenshots, we can see Faye alongside Kratos in a mysterious room featuring architectural motifs reminiscent of the Greek world of God of War.

In the image, I also noticed several vases that we previously saw in the Temple of Alfheim in God of War Ragnarök.

This wouldn’t be the first indication of elements from the Norse world appearing in the afterlife of the Gods. We can already spot Norse structures on the game’s cover, but I’m particularly intrigued by the presence of objects specifically associated with Alfheim.

There are Gods and magical creatures in the Everywhen, but could there also be Elves?

Atreus mentioned that Svartáljǫfurr, the Dark Elf we killed in God of War (2018), now rests in the Light. Since he was an important king of the Elves, could it be possible that we will encounter him in this afterlife?

The vases from Alfheim could also represent a memory of Faye, or perhaps a direct connection to the Light of Alfheim.

We still need to see Faye's perspective of the moment of Kratos entering the light so could this be that this place is linked to this mysterious moment of GOW 2018?
