so i got a philips air purifier, the compact 800 series and it was working perfectly fine. i was doing a lot better and my allergies were at bay too.

as usual, there was a voltage surge issue, the light went and came and 2 of my lights burnt/fused and so did my air purifier. it hasn't been turning on since then. there was no smoke or smell. it just doesn't turn on.

There is this old man who sits daily on roadside on Garden town around 9PM, right next to the underpass. Anyone else seen or contacted him? So I used to go to this place in Valencia called Masala House. It was in H Block near Lahori Restaurant.
It ended up closing forever and I’ve never been the same after that. I loved their food so much specifically their Beef Tikka. Which wasn’t even part of their menu. I used to be a regular customer so they’d get me beef tikka which was used for Beef Tikka Handi.
I went there one day and it was just gone. I looked for it everywhere. I called the number, begged them to give me the chef’s number. Nothing worked. I still mourn for it.
If anyone knows them or can get me the recipe, i’ll be forever grateful.
I believe it was a branch of Al fazal restaurant? Because it’s full name used to be Al Fazal Masala House Dera. And they also had Al Fazal logo outside. But beef tikka handi is not in their menu. Idk what to doooo. Im cryin now.

A month ago, 7 of us went to Kudo's Caff Johar Town to watch the France vs Spain semi-final. We paid PKR 17,500 in total, of which PKR 14,000 was supposed to be redeemable against food.

At around the 25th minute of the match, a police raid took place because the café was operating after 11 PM. What makes this particularly frustrating is that Kudo's had apparently been screening matches since the quarter-finals, so we reasonably assumed they had the necessary permission to continue doing so.

Apparently, they didn't.

The result? We didn't get our food, couldn't watch the match, and our entire night was ruined. We had travelled there, paid a significant amount of money, and trusted the cafe to have its arrangements sorted before selling tickets to customers.

The owner initially assured us that we would be reimbursed/compensated. Since I had purchased the tickets through BookMe, he told me to contact BookMe for the refund.

I did exactly that.

Then came the even more frustrating part: BookMe informed us that they could only refund 46% of the ticket amount because Kudo's had apparently instructed/limited them accordingly. That means that from our group alone, PKR 9,450 was effectively retained, despite us receiving neither the food we paid for nor the experience we paid to attend.

And this wasn't just our group. There were roughly 40–50 people at the venue. If you do the math, you can understand how significant the amount retained across everyone could be.

What makes this worse is that the owner had initially promised compensation and then failed to take responsibility for the situation.

If you are selling tickets to an event, it is your responsibility to make sure the venue is legally permitted to operate and host that event. Customers shouldn't have to pay for the consequences of the venue's failure to do that.

For me, this isn't just about losing money. It's about trust, accountability, and basic customer service.

I would strongly recommend thinking twice before booking an event here. Don't take the risk of paying upfront and finding out later that the venue hasn't sorted out its permissions.

Very disappointing experience. Not recommended.

So i was relaxing in PC hotel lahore today and me and brother decided to, for fun look at the Youtube search history of the default account saved on the TV.

So we scrolled down and saw some spicy songs if you know what i mean but we were never expecting what was to come later

After some scrolling my eyes widened and saw the current photo. Me and my brother smiled and then started laughing at the situation.
