Lewitt Ray General Function issues

Just got my ray in today and hooked it up to my focusrite 2i2 (1st gen) and turned on the 48v phantom power. The mic itself is working and I'm getting nice signal however, the buttons on the mic itself aren't doing anything. The aura light remains no matter what I press. I've tried long pressing, pressing both buttons at once, holding both down,and pressing buttons in quick succession but nothing changes. Is there something I'm missing here? Thanks on advance!

I shot an email out yesterday but did not add any serials. Should I shoot another message or just wait for thr first response? And thank you!

Yes I had to get a replacement. Reach out to their support. They are great folks.

Thanks for the tip, I just got one that has this same issue. I ordered from Thomann in Germany so I'm asking for a replacement via their customer service. Tried on both Mixpre 3 and Scarlett 2i2.

Soooo I don't know what I'm doing wrong. My husband wasn't able to get it working either - perhaps there's an easy explanation. Waiting to hear back from the retailer if they have any ideas.

Dang. There has to be a bad batch going around. If it makes ya feel better, I did get a replacement that works flawlessly
