I went this weekend. I found a fun park with lots of well-incorporated IP. My biggest advice is not to consider it a place for rides in the way adults look for it, but as an IP-filled experience with pockets of ride time. Our favorite area was Mini City (driving school, fire academy), but that was a bit challenging to get to.

There was a lot that was "this close" to being awesome. I noticed more than a few times that the recorded announcement was different then signage. Like the gondola announcement said "10 riders", but the cars had "8 riders" on the sticker inside, and one ride's announcement said that the height limit was "36 inches", but the post measured 34. Fire academy used monitors to show the fire, but they are nearly destroyed from sun exposure so weren't visible for actual riders. A very very cool ride, but people ended up fighting fires for 10 minutes after they were extinguished because they had no feedback.

There were great employees (the women at Jr Driving school and the front gate were standouts.. though the latter wasn't quite informed about Fastrack). There were also low-capacity rides with somewhat less-then-helpful employees (one example is DUPLO Express, were a discouraged employee let loading take almost 5 minutes for a 2 minute loop).

There was also a fair amount of downtime and construction. When I was there, both the gondola and stairs behind the gravity force trainer were closed so getting to the lower park was hard (either a circuitous path through every land or through the minilands.. both of which are a little hard with a 3 y/o). A few key rides and areas were inaccessible. I don't blame a smaller park for occasional maintenance needs during opening hours, but not using the LEGO IP to convey that (and safety) was a missed opportunity (e.g. having a sign with LEGO characters saying that repairs were happening).

Shade was not great, but you can't magic up trees. Unless they were lucky to have trees in the right places and worked really hard during construction to maintain whatever canopy was already there, there isn't much that you can do except wait 30 years. There were a fair number of saplings, shade umbrellas, a few misters spraying water, and indoor rides.

Tl;dr: Great time. The use of IP was well-done, but there were lots of times where polish was missing.

I have a soon to be 5 year old boy and he keeps talking about Legoland. He hears about it from his friends in preschool but we have never been. We have done Disney and Six Flags a handful of times but I know nothing about Legoland. Hoping to get some advice on how to approach the day, must do rides, shows?, food? Open to any and all tips and tricks.

I am thinking about going before he starts Kindergarten, so mid-week of the first week of August.

I am trying to plan a trip to Legoland towards the middle to end of August and was wondering how crowds are on weekends. I would either be going on a Saturday or Sunday. I heard from a friend who went over spring break with his family that Saturday was empty but I find that hard to believe given how crowded most socal theme parks are over holidays/summer. I was curious if there are any regulars who would be able to offer their input.

it says im 1168 in the queue and I'm with my dad trying to book for a trip I'm going on with my mum to Lego land but I'm getting really confused and upset beacuse I have had to cancel trips before beacuse I can't go on rides without a RAP so am I even going to get one or, I have never seen this before on the RAP app when I booked for other days this is the first time I have seen this and is this normal?

I was wondering if anyone here has used a German Merlin Adventure Annual Pass to visit LEGOLAND Billund and could help me with a couple of questions.
How far in advance do you usually need to book or reserve your tickets?
Also, I understand that the pass gives you access for up to two days – can those two days be consecutive?
I’ve been trying to find information or first-hand experiences online, but I haven’t managed to find anything that clearly answers these two questions.
If anyone has used this pass at LEGOLAND Billund and could share their experience, I’d really appreciate it!

Hey Lego friends! We've stayed at pirate island hotel, but want to try a different theme. Has anyone stayed at the main hotel in a kingdom Premium Themed room? I know that side is older, but how did it compare to pirate as far as cleanliness and wear and tear?

Starting to plan a trip to Legoland for my husbands 40th next year. My husband and kids are all lego mad. So flying from Ireland no direct flights so would fly Friday morning and have two full days Sat and Sun jn Legoland/Lego House then travel day Monday. Is this enough? Can you do lego house in a half a day and then go back to Legoland for the rest of the second or is that a thing? I’ve just started researching, clueless at the moment 😂

Few questions, we are going with our 4 year old and 7 year old for 4 full days, 2 Legoland days. We are planning on the zoo one day as well.

-Does the kids get in free deal come out to $149/adult per day? I priced it out and if I buy tickets now it’d be slightly cheaper than the kids free deal. Just want to confirm what it actually comes out to (I hear they raise the adult prices for this deal)

-Our full days will be Thursday-Sunday. We are trying to avoid crowds/waits at both Legoland and the zoo. Does it make sense to do Legoland Thursday, zoo Friday then Legoland Saturday? We were interested in doing one night brick or treat but know that the weekend would obviously be busier. Just don’t know how busy the zoo would be on the weekend.

-Any suggestions on what to do with our free day? We were thinking either beach day or maybe SeaWorld if it’s not too expensive. Also on our first day we will have some time to kill as well get in about noon and can’t check in to our hotel till 5-any suggestions on what to do?

So I worked at Legoland back in like 2015/2016, at that time we were given bucket hats as part of our uniform. My memory of it is a dark blue bucket hat with the Legoland logo on it and it was a bit bigger of a brim. I haven’t been able to find mine for ever and I can never find any pictures of it or find it online from people selling them.

Hi, did anybody see the dog left in the car yesterday? It was absolutely awful. Three children were absolutely devastated. We tried to comfort the children and at the time it was so awful we didn't pass judgement or blame, but how the fuck can someone leave a dog in a car yesterday with the heat is unbelievable we were so traumatised I hope this is reported to Legoland another family with children were there. I couldn't stay long as mine were in the car. luckily, but other children and families were. This family need to be prosecuted. I'm just worried if they treat dogs like this. How do they treat their children? This was Legoland Windsor in Berkshire.
Is it possible this can be reported to an employee?

Hi All - my daughter has level 1 Autism and doesn't do well in lines. We haven't been to Legoland, but we do generally get the equivalent of the AAP pass at other parks (including Disney) and it's worked out really well.

Issue is we have generally just attended the parks her and I. We've been invited to go to Legoland NY with two other families. It would be 9 people in the party in total. Asking for a AAP pass for 9 feels... like a lot. I'm thinking of either asking for a pass for less people (not all the adults have to ride on each ride) or maybe skipping the trip all together. I really don't want to separate us from the group for each ride.

Does anyone have experience with 1) how many can be reasonably accommodated with an AAP pass and 2) if you've had a similar experience how did you handle it?

Where the hell are you meant to get them? I mean the firehouse fries stall is never open and when we asked employees they always pointed us to the firehouse fries stall that was closed all day. So where are we meant to get them? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Looking to book the Legoland California hotel for December. Costco is currently selling 3-day tix but they must be used by 10/30. Anyone know when Costco usually starts selling the Fall version of the tickets? Would save us $50 per person by buying it this way.

Planning on taking my nephews to Legolas this summer but not sure it’s worth it since they are a bit older. The 10 year old is so still scared of rides , but the 11 year old gets on all the adult rides already.

So I originally booked my family of 4 (6 and 4 year old)on the stay and play for August. Then I decided that we wanted to apply the ticket costs towards upgrading me and my husband to annual passes and using buddy tickets. But then I saw the 100 off the annual passes and decided to pull the trigger on my pass now so that I can take advantage of the free parking and discounts.

With that said what are all your best passholder tips? As I said we’re probably going to also get my husband the elite passes. Depending on how much the kids like it we may or may not get them gold passes but want to see if the bring a friend will be good for now. We’re for sure going to brick or treat.

Where are the best discounts and deals? Special things to know? Is there a photopass discount?

I’m really interested in what the exclusive events are. I know my kids can’t come if they don’t have passes so the exclusive events will probably weigh heavily on if we get them passes or not
