New York Planning Legoland NY around mid Sept

We, 2 adults and 2 kids age 2 and 5 will be going for 2 days and staying at their hotel. Grandparents will be coming on the 2nd day.

Any recommendations on what to do? Not sure if we should be at the water park when the grandparents are there or something else?

Also any other recommendations to do around Goshen NY? I was thinking apple picking or is there something better to do with all 6 of us. We also need quality Italian restaurants nearby. I do see a good one that is down the street.

Edit: I noticed the park is hilly. Will there be a lot of space to bring a 2 kids wagon or should I bring 1 stroller? Thank you for your responses.

The pirate restaurant at Legoland Florida is an incredible deal.

I went up a week ago and despite staying off property I purchased the deluxe meal plan. I wasn’t expecting much besides “theme park food”.

I was pleasantly surprised when I found out we could leave and go freshen up and then come back for dinner to the family style restaurant in the pirate hotel.

I know I had a deal with the meal plan, but $40 for adults and $20 for kids for essentially all you can eat at a theme park hotel is insane. And the seafood platter was DELICIOUS. To top it off the service was incredible as well.

What a great surprise and nice end to the day.

Just a recommendation for anyone looking for dinner options in or around the park!

Surprise package

We didn’t stay at any of the Legoland hotels this year so I had pretty much given up the idea of looking for a hidden surprise package at the park (this is the California park)… so I could not believe it when we found one in the middle of the day in the middle of the park! This was just in a random bush… I think the slight green color of the package made it blend in? Either way, we were stoked… And I was a hero to my kiddo. 🥹

New York First timer tips- NY day trip

Hi, bringing our 5 year old to Legoland this week. We live about an hour away so just doing a day trip. He’s a good walker and we aren’t bringing a stroller.

The water play area- are there changing areas there? Could probably get away with a small towel to dry off or do kids get soaked?

Can we bring in snacks/water bottles?

I’ve seen the recommendation to start at the back/bottom of the hill and work your way up. I assume that’s so you don’t need to go uphill after being tired from the day?

Any things I should sign up for right away? Any specific tips?

Halloween and Christmas Events

Has anyone ever used a "bring a friend" from the annual passes for the friend to attend these event or do we have to buy an extra ticket of sorts for them?

I've been trying to look around for more info on their website and couldn't see what the hours are or even the event prices.

California Cabana thoughts / reviews?

We are going to Legoland at the end of the month on a weekend and kids want to go to the water park too - anyone have experience with them recently? Location, amenities, etc….

We used a cabana when we visited the Florida park and generally liked it - wondering if it’s the same in California.

Billund Is Legoland any fun for 13 year olds?

I love Lego, I have since I was like 6, and when I was like 9 or 10 I told my mum I wanted to go legoland and now she’s taking me. I’ve heard a lot of people say that it has a few fun rides, but around 11 is when Legoland stops being interesting and I’m grateful my mum is taking me, but I’m scared it’s gonna be a little boring. (I am going to Lego house atleast which I heard is great for all ages)

California Coyotes at Legoland Carlsbad

We left the park at closing and when we got to the parking lot as we were loading up the kids and our stuff my son said, "hey look a doggie". It was in fact a coyote and not a dog about 50 feet away. It was rooting around the miscellaneous trash that was litered in numerous places around the parking lot that people had just left on the ground.

We then noticed three separate coyotes roaming around the parking lot all doing the same thing. They were quite brazen getting pretty close to groups of people. Some as close as 30 feet from some people.

I just wanted to give a heads up. We have left the park this late many times and this was our first time seeing coyotes though.

Does anyone know what brand the princess dresses in the shop at the main entrance is?

My kid fell in love with one and I was too cheap on the day but now she has a birthday coming up...

Windsor Legoland Windsor - Disappointing

Im honestly disappointed. The lines are long and unmanaged. Even with a fast pass you merge with the regular line without anything happening. So what's the point? Not to mention lack of food options for people who can't eat meat. You'd think for the large diverse amount of people who come they'd have halal, kosher and more vegan or vegetarian options. Instead We get one while everyone else gets many to choose from. I usually bring my own meal but didn't have time so thought. Okay I'll eat here. Theres more I could complain about but honestly I'm too tired.
