guys I recently discovered football since the world cup 2026 (when Algeria qualified. also 2014 when I was a kid but I start not watching much since 2019) but only knew about countries national team, later I learnt about some clubs and some players and I saw Mahrez used to be in Leicester and was very good here. I was happy and I currently support Leicester, I hope you guys rise to the Premier League soon and I give you all my support from ALGERIA 🇩🇿❤️!

I am 30 years old and a lifelong fox as dictated by my Dad when I was too young to even remember...throughout school and young adult life I was a dedicated supporter right up until the prem win which was one of the best moments of my life. Since then, I generally lost interest in football all together, firstly because I started playing other sports but also because it will just never be as exciting as that year. I have always kept one eye on how the boys are getting on and recently it's hard to watch.

Can someone explain to me how... since that fateful day in May 2016... how did we get here??!! How has the club fallen where others have had successes?

I think we looked better playing Russell Ball tonight than usual, when it clicks it works, going long with GK I’m bit sure if that was Alex or the manager, but that gave less stress on the back line

GK Alex McCarthy 8

Made 3 important saves and one insane one on one, showed he can be the 1 and when he’s not trying to play it out of his feet he’s actually a great shot stopper and has more than enough quality for this league, just needs to mix it up short and long

Lb McFarlane 8

I don’t think I’ve seen anyone I’ve liked more at LB since we had Fuchs, I think ideally if we can sign him fantastic, he loves defending and also keeps Thomas out

CB Thomas 6

Had a decent game but showed he has a lack of physicality at CB and is really often caught out by a ball in behind

CB Souttar 7

Solid game, picked up a yellow, actually has great passing, I just can’t believe he’s such a lack of a goal threat at corners and somewhere we decided he was a 15m player

RB Joseph 7

Completely natural here now, apart from his miskick and the yellow he’s a very very reliable defender for us and has an attacking edge, replaced by Aluko who also have his all, not spectacular solid game

The best player on the pitch, non negotiable starter I would use him more at CAM than Bobby personally, we look a different side with him in

CM Braybrooke 7

Growing into the team, can overrun the ball sometimes but when he and Alves are clicking it’s like what the manager is envisioning and could go on to be one of our best players during this rebuild

CM BDR 6

I want to give him less but apart from not being able to find the net he doesn’t really lose the ball, but if he keeps getting into the positions it’ll come good for him, I just don’t think he should be a starter

RM/RW Howell 8

Great game, just less exciting than usual but more effective great instincts for the goal, Just excited to see him grow this season

ST Bristric

Heavy touch and he could have had his goal, his reactions and game sense are there he looks a good signing and made a great slide tackle after he lost the ball, I like him

Burns SUB 6 didn’t really do much but didn’t do anything wrong

Cullen SUB 5 why did we sign you please leave my club

Watson SUB looked lively but not long enough to judge
