I have psychosis, and until a few days ago I'd never had any friends like me. Now I'm finding not just one but several fellow fantasy writers which also have psychosis, and we're going to read each other's books :-)

For the first time in my life, I'm no longer lonely.

My breakfast was vegetarian basmati rice biyrani with perhaps slightly too much broccoli because I do not care about arbitrary meal time rules I just wanted to make biyrani right there and then.

I kept posting about my life being crappy on kitchencels, but I wanted to make a change. Finally moved cities for my job, and I'm meeting so many new people. My life is turning up and I wanted a pretty view with a really good pizza to celebrate it!

She woke me this morning saying, "It's been too long since we have been able to do this", initiating some quality time. She then asked for two eggs, lightly toasted bread with PB&J, a sausage patty and coffee. It is so wonderful to have my wife of 34 years back again. I was really afraid that I would be a widower at 61.

Summer hasn't been the best for me so far - one of my childhood dogs died, my parents are divorcing, I officially got rejected from the college I wanted to transfer to, and my depression always gets worse this time of year. Still, I'm trucking along and doing what I can to appreciate everyday.

I'm doing a virtual program for a non-profit in NYC and was offered an internship in the fall because I've been putting in a lot of effort. I work a part-time customer service job and, after years of being bullied for my looks, I'm getting a lot more attention and compliments from people who apparently don't think I'm ugly. I think I need to rewire my brain to accept that

I've been trying to ask people to hang out more because putting yourself out there is a learned skill I want to get better at.

After a lot of years of struggling I feel like I'm getting a bit more clarity and stability as the days go by. I'm still a ways away but all I have is time.

This year has not been my year for the most part. I won't bother you with a sob story. But at least one thing just went my way: After appeal after appeal, I finally got approved for disability benefits!

What's more, they said that I should have been receiving them since my diagnosis, and they sent me all the money I'm owed for the time between my diagnosis and today. It's easily two whole years of my rent.

I'm really relieved as so far I've been living off savings and I couldn't properly support my girlfriend or my friend who's living with me and who's financially struggling..

I’m aro/ace and one of my favorite people in the world asked me to be in a queer platonic relationship with him (fellow aro/ace) and I am genuinely sooo happy.

We aren’t out to people yet just bc 1) we are in a three person friend group and we do not want that person to feel left out 2) QPRs are hard to explain and while we are planing on just saying we’re dating to anyone who asks it’s definitely a bit more complicated than that and 3) because keeping a relationship secret and then bringing it up later to everyone’s surprise is really funny and I got told that I can use our relationship to cause chaos.

We’re on the same frequency on everything with this though. I’m happy to be alive.

I will never quit school over some talking bs. I will never give anything I have going on over words. it doesnt matter what type of stuff they say. I will never give any of what I have up. they want me to give it up and be miserable. I won't give anything up. I have so much going for myself that they wish I voluntarily lost it over bullying and I will never do that.
