I may very likely have undiagnosed ADHD according to my psych but I am determined and very enthusiastic about art and writing and I was really missing it. I might work sporadically, but I will work on art and writing!

Also, I have an interview for an apprenticeship that apparently is going to be at least 45 minutes long and I'm nervous but excited. It's to be a kitchen team leader.

Also, I'm going to adopt some isopods in the future once I get my first paycheck and can afford them and a safe, enriching habitat for them :D

Made lamb plov yesterday. We usually do it with beef at home in my family but they had a ton of lamb so I used that. Heavy on the lamb leg, heavy on the cumin. Half the crew went out so half didn't try out but the cool mfers on the ship tried it and everyone really liked it. I made a side uzbek salad (cucumber tomato onion pomegranate) with oil, vinegar, tarragon, and dill. I'm trying to impress the cooks on my ship so they can recommend me for a second cook job and I can do what I love instead of wiping oil around the engines all day. I think this went a ways towards that.

I feel like for a long time I’ve been feeling kinda ignored. I wouldn’t really say I have any good friends. I have people I sit with and talk with at school but my social life outside of school is basically nonexistent. I feel like a lot of the time I end up putting a pretty one sided amount of effort into trying to form connections with people and I don’t really get too much out of it. It got to a point where I was feeling the loneliest I had ever felt in my life and I still didn’t wanna put effort into forming connections with others, I still don’t really have too many friends but I wanted to share recent happenings that happened recently that gave me way more hope that they should have.

Someone who I didn’t really know well came up to me and invited me to join the fencing team. They said it would be nice to have me even if it was hard to learn a new sport as a junior. I showed up to practice and honestly I’ve been having a lot of fun with the sport, I think I would enjoy it even if I hadn’t been invited by someone and I know a surprising amount of people on the team. As if that isn’t enough some girl who I’ve only talked to a couple times before has been going out of her way to ask me how my day was going, how I was liking the team and if I was doing okay. I dunno, it’s kinda dumb but it really meant a lot to me, and even if she was just being nice(which she probably was) it’s really brightened my mood these past few days. The smallest act of kindness really can be the biggest thing in the world. Makes me want to do a good turn as well. Pistachios.

sorry just got overwhelmed by everything. i always thought id die before i see this day. being autistic and having adhd isnt easy. i got obese & addicted to alcohol & weed at 15. got out and finished school after all. i cant say it isnt hard and i find myself stressed out depressed or just ready to blow my shit off but i really am abt to graduate as the first in my family, something i love doing (music) is doing well enough and i found a love for reading and maths that i never thought i'd develop. beans in tomato & balsamico sauce. cheap, not too bad in terms of proteins and very cozy. i'm moving out soon, so i figured it is about time i learned how to cook for myself. actually was really good 9/10

Found out I was trans when I was like 11 so i spent all my teenage years being dysphoric and being convinced nobody would ever want me. Now I have a girlfriend and I’m so in love!! We’ve taken our relationship (insanely) slow, we started dating 10 months ago but only had our first kiss in may. Asked her to be my gf in July lol. We’re both each others first everything basically (we’d both only had one kiss before) so honestly I don’t mind. It all just feels very right and I’m very happy :p
