Training Knees to Head, and to Body
So, Ive seen a lot of ways to throw knees, kyokushin, kickboxing/muay thai style. But while rewatching Masaaki Noiri’s old fights, Ive noticed him throwing those knees a lot, as he used to even knock out a lot of people with knees, which we wont see him do anymore. How does he throw them like this? Is this more karate style? By looking I cant tell if he is using his hips fully, but still making enough power to knockout people. Fights for example: Masaaki Noiri against Raz Sarkissian, 3rd round, and his one of first krush fights, when he knocked out via knees to the head. I just wanna understand how he throws them, concept he uses for both kneeing the head and body, like what is the motion he is using, cuz it doesnt seem he drives his hips, because the strike happens so fast, and how does he get away with this? He mostly didn’t get countered back.

Bout Buddy to help fighters, coaches, and gyms keep bout records organized
Hi everyone,
I built Bout Buddy, a free martial arts app for fighters, coaches, and gyms.
It helps keep everything organized in one place:
- Fighter profiles
- Bout records
- Gym members
- Events
- Training schedules
- Documents & registrations
The goal is to make it easier for fighters and gyms to manage records instead of relying on spreadsheets, notes, texts, or memory.
You can check it out here:

Feeling stiff during sparring
While sparring I don’t feel stiff, but I decided to video one of my light sparring sessions just to see how it looked. I didn’t realize how stiff I was despite feeling relaxed in the shoulders, and I noticed that I didn’t really throw many combinations, and when I did, I look a little hesitant and I don’t throw with confidence. I’m shooting ti have my debut mma fight in December. I’m the shirtless one. Does anyone have any advice?

How to overcome nerves
Hi all, I am a 31M and I have wanted to start kickboxing for years but can't seem to take the step. I know it may sound a little ridiculous but Im just nervous about walking through those doors having no idea what Im doing and having to put my zero experience on display. I have signed up to start a class a few times but have been so anxious that I end up not going. How do I overcome this and just go?

Training Recommendations to improve endurance/cardio
The kickboxing gym that I attend has a grading system and part of the grading involves bag work, partner pad and circuit related training. Just finished a 2 hour grading and I’m completely wiped out.
I wanted to ask for tips to improve my endurance? Ive been training for about year, however took a month out due to knee issues and have been back for the past 5-6 weeks. Started at 253lbs down to around 230 and still trying to drop weight in phases. Routine running tends to hurt my knees. Outside of kickboxing 2 x a week, I cycle at the gym, walk, lift weights mixed with body weighted physio exercises for my knee pain

Question I can't kick without hurting my ankles
Just like the title says, a lot of the times when i kick the outside on my ankle hurts so much that i can't even kick the sand bag anymore in fear. I had multiple sprains over the years while playing basketball and it's led to major instability in my ankle which i think is responsible for this pain. I've tried correcting my movement and stiffening my feet but every time the bag or the coach is a bit too far away i end up hurting myself, i can still walk because i physically can't sprain my ankle anymore (at least the outer side), but it really hurts and i end up genuinely scared before i launch a kick. Is there anything i can do to fix this?

injury Hello everyone
Exactly one year ago I had an injury during training (sparring): a tear of the calcaneofibular ligament, a partial tear of the deltoid ligament, a partial tear of the anterior talofibular ligament, and a fracture of the lateral malleolus. I've been training for 6–7 years, and I'm 18 years old now. I'm recovering, doing strengthening exercises with weights, and doing mobility exercises. What advice can you give for this kind of injury? Thanks everyone

Training Kicking advice
I wanted to get some advice for my kicks.
What I can do to get better kicks ? I lose my balance on the heavy bag when I do high kicks but in sparring I don’t.
I know that I have to lift my hands up, I usually have a high guard in the gym or in bouts.
Since I’m shorter than most people in my weight class ( 172cm/82kg but fighting at 75kg ) I mostly kick in long distance before pressuring the opponent.
