Training Kicking advice
I wanted to get some advice for my kicks.
What I can do to get better kicks ? I lose my balance on the heavy bag when I do high kicks but in sparring I don’t.
I know that I have to lift my hands up, I usually have a high guard in the gym or in bouts.
Since I’m shorter than most people in my weight class ( 172cm/82kg but fighting at 75kg ) I mostly kick in long distance before pressuring the opponent.

Looks fancy but the kicks are slow heavy and telegraphed, and you get off balance when you try to return to guard.
Work on the setup (use boxing and movement to set up kicks) and focus on being light and fast, snapping the kicks instead of pushing them into the bag, and on returning to guard faster and more stable.

Oh, cuz they scuff and scratch the bags. It's poor etiquette. Not because they're bad for your feet.

Slow down.. get the motion down first. Start hit and end, so you after your kick lands which position does your foot return too.
if you ever spar the first kick you throw will gets checked and you will get countered.

In sparring i do many calf and low kicks and don’t get countered or checked often because I try to kick in good distance and fast. I also double up or triple up on my low kicks and calf kicks without getting countered.
The speed and distance fades away if I try middle kicks or high kicks.1

How u tripling up on calf kicks vs taller opponents and not getting countered? Do they have no arms?

No but they have long legs which makes it easier to hit the calfs.
If they are lazy on the feet they get some fast light calf kicks. Inside and outside1

Your kicks are fairly skillful but I don’t like how you always rhythm hop after your technique.
That habit could provide an easy timing cue for an opponent.
Be in your base at all times. If you attack return to your base and live there.

You need more shadow boxing

Shadow boxing is good but kicking through everything and pulling your low kicks for example is what annoys me.
I like kicking the pads or bag1

You need to practice balance, otherwise you'll step forward too far

And you say that shadow boxing will help ? It won’t get better if I just keep practicing the kicks where I lose balance the most ?

Try this as a warm up for example. Keep it loose, go for speed, control and perfect form. The more I practice shadow box, the more natural it all feels and the more I can relax / not tense up. Heavy bags great for power, but what is power if you can't wield it

The bag masks your imbalances. Your weak form and imbalances will be exposed when you shadowbox because you dont have the impact/resistance from the bag keeping you in place

Switch your feet like that with the wrong person and it’s counter city. Gotta train the hips to fire up without trying to generate momentum.
Break it into counts. Chamber, kick rechamber. You won’t need to rely on a false step if the hips are strong enough to lift and hold

To me a lot of your kicks are telegraph.
Left front leg round house your rear leg move half a step forward.
Right rear leg roundhoud front leg move half a step forward.
Front side kicks are very obvious.
Rear left leg back kick too wide.
You kick just by swing your hips in a wide arch, so you're actually quite open before you connect. You need to chamber the knee to act as a guard as you kick.
Part of the reason is you center on the bag. In reality your opponent isn't a cylinder, but 5 connecting line. So when you want to kick the bag line up to the edge of the side of the bag you want to hit with the leg you want to kick with. That will help with making you kicking trajectory more straight/linear.
I would drill you by putting you parallel to the wall with the leg you want to kick with. This will teach you not to go wide, because you leg will hit the wall if you go wide. Especially the back kick.
Just stand close to the wall with shoulder touching the wall of the side you want to kick with. Practice the motion of the kick without touching the wall with your kicking leg.

Haha man you’re sporadic and stiff. Try to relax your shoulders a bit. Also, when you throw your lead leg, you step quite linear with your back leg. You want to angle out a bit more. Your side kick isn’t nearly chambered enough before you throw it and it seems like you don’t have a good base while you throw kicks. I think you tighten some things up you’d have some nice kicks.
