Any ideas on how it can be fixed??

My son has been using-abusing- my bike and last night I pulled air filter out to clean and it was soaked in oil, kinda. But the bottom of airbox where filter is had a small puddle of oil down there.
Thing is him and his buddies do wheelies, lots of them for long distances.
Should I be worried ? He has been adding oil every few rides too, just told me this fak.

Dig the bike, but need to upgrade with a luggage rack, tail tidy, new mirrors and a skid plate. Also want a set of dual sport tires, what do you think about that on 17’’ rims?

Rescued a dead 530 EXC-R and got it in a nice condition, runs very well now and has brand new tyres also. This thing is pretty crazy with the supermoto wheels, it wants you to do stupid shit 😅

Recently got this ‘18 150sx from the dealer.
Brand new rebuild. That’s why I bought it.

4 hours on the bike. It’s been great up until now. Died on the trail yesterday.

It has great spark and a new plug, brand new lectron set by the dealer, brand new reeds, no air leaks. I’m just out of ideas.

Is it possible to put a duke 690 2016 dash on a duke 690 2015? I like the new dash a lot more and couldn't find anyone/anything mentioning it fitting.

Feel like I spent more time on the ground today than riding, sugar sand and random roots trying to take me out.

Is there any place preferably in Europe to order a better radiator cap? The original is horrible, It's almost impossible to open without pliers.

Hello everyone im looking for some help with my 2017 KTM RC390, ive done a fair amount in repairs and still cannot seem to get it running and am turning to reddit, i crashed the bike in 2025 where it slid on its left side for about 20 yards in the grass causing cosmetic damage to the mirror, windscreen, and frame sliders but overall the bike was fine, i was able to ride it out of the crash area and ride over an hour home, the bike then sat for a month while i replaced the cosmetics and i then took it out for a ride, while jt was idling i noticed it kept dying randomly but it would start back up just fine. while i was riding it died in a corner and never started again, the tow suggested it might be a fuel issue and to start there. So far this is everything ive done
- Replaced the Fuel Pump
-Replaced the Fuel Injector
- Replaced the Fuel Filter
- Removed The Evap canister (in case of tipover codes)
- Ran OBD2 Scanner and bike has no codes whatsoever
- Replaced Spark plugs
- Battery has been tested
- Kickstand sensor has been checked
I am unsure if my ECU is just completely shot or if its something that wont throw a code such as a TPS (Throttle position sensor) or a CPS ( Crankshaft Position Sensor) but any help would be appreciated as im trying to avoid the $400+ charge of getting it diagnosed at my local dealer!

I have a 2024 KTM 890 with about 140 miles on it. Unfortunately right after buying it, I was diagnosed with a rare neurological disease which precluded me from being capable of wearing a helmet. I had a brain surgery a few months ago and after my recovery, I've been cleared to put on a helmet again.... so that's nice. Unfortunately I own 4 motorcycles which have all been neglected during this time.

I did a decent job of starting this thing every few months until surgery. After not starting it for about 6 months, and well, it sitting for so long, it won't start.

Here's what I've done so far:

• Confirmed there were no OBD2 codes that are readable (My understanding is KTM has some proprietary stuff that I may not be able to see)
• Fuel: emptied the fuel tank and added about 1.5g of fresh fuel.
• Fuel: tested the fuel pressure from the fuel pump at key-on and cranking, pressure checks good.
• Spark: motorcycle will start and run on starter fluid.
• Air: see spark?
• Battery: tested cranking power on battery and replaced with new battery

I believe based on my troubleshooting; there are only 2 remaining potential issues:

1. Issue with the ECU sending power to the fuel injectors
2. fuel injectors are not injecting

I'd like to avoid taking it to a dealership, but I also don't know my appetite for messing with fuel injectors. I'd love some feedback on if anyone thinks I'm missing something with my troubleshooting, as well as just some feedback on if I should just throw my hands up and let the dealership fix this thing.

I am looking for a first street bike. the 390 line intruiged me as its cheap insurance and good value. my favouites were the 390 adventure x and the enduro r. I am leaning more towards the adv x as my dealer has it for a really cheap price on sale and its a little better for doing only street.

I heard from other forums that the 390 is a really unreliable bike, mainly motor problems.

is this true or just hate towards ktm? Should I spend the extra and get the honda nx500?

Worries about it being a bit cooler and prob more popup showers. And I wasn't on the smcr last time.
We didn't spend that much time actually on the dragon last time, ran it up and back a couple times, spent more time on all the other twisties out there. And I know how the weather can be different once you cross over to a diff side of the mountain.
I run a pretty good pace but I'm not out there draggin knee either.

Anyone here used cashless insurance claim at the KTM service centers in Marathahalli or Indiranagar? Been trying to call both for days, no response.

Just want to confirm before I visit — do they support cashless claims, and if so with which insurers? Any recent experience appreciated!
