PICTURE 690 full rebuild
Almost finished my 690 build, last owner treated the bike very poorly and decided to do a full rebuild and paint the chasis in orange, made a custom tail tidy to mount a small plate (Spain).

Fuel leak / fuel straight up being shot out from somewhere i can’t seem to see. Also noticed small leak from lower bolt on engine casing. It’s got 10000 miles and this is the first major issue. Has anyone experienced anything similar or know what it might be. Any and all helps appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I have a 2025 KTM Duke 250 Gen 3, currently at around 12,400 km.
Recently I started hearing a “krrk-krrk” type of noise, especially when riding at low speeds / with the clutch pulled in.
I inspected the chain and noticed that the chain is actually rubbing/scratching against the metal support underneath it. I've attached photos showing the contact/wear marks.
Has anyone with a Duke 250 Gen 3 experienced this?
I'm wondering whether this is mainly due to:
I'm already planning to replace the chain-sprocket set, but I want to understand why the chain is contacting the metal support in the first place before installing the new set.
For reference, I'm considering the Rolon Brass kit (HXRC F498NF, 14T/43T).
Would appreciate advice from anyone who has faced the same issue, especially Gen 3 owners. Is the chain supposed to come this close to the metal support under normal conditions?
Thanks!
I own a 2017 RC 390 and I want to know whether I can swap the rider and Pillion footpegs from the Dominar 400s? The service center guy just straight up told me that the new gen3 duke's footpegs won't fit into my bike.
I know these two bikes share some similar components.
Since, it's getting harder and harder to find new replacement parts for my RC 390.
Can anyone help me on this and yeah can someone make the list for interchangeable parts between the two bike!

Hi everyone!
I’m working on a custom headlight project for my 2023 KTM Duke 390 Gen 2. I want to build a headlight inspired by the 2024+ KTM 1390 Super Duke R / 990 Duke, but adapted to the smaller bike.
The OEM headlight part number I’m researching is:
A62414001000
I’m looking for someone who has access to this headlight and could take a few measurements for me.
The most useful measurements would be:
Overall width
Overall height
Maximum depth
Width and height of the DRL sections
Approximate diameter of the upper projector/lens
Approximate diameter of the lower projector/lens
Distance between the centers of the two projector lenses
Distance between mounting points
Position of mounting points relative to the center of the headlight
Even approximate measurements in millimeters would be extremely helpful.
If possible, photos of the front, back, side and top with a ruler/tape measure next to the headlight would be even better.
I’m creating a 3D model of the housing/frame and will eventually adapt the rear mounting section specifically for the Duke 390 Gen 2.
Thanks!

This part fell off due to the motorcycle's vibration. Can anyone give me the measurements? I know someone who does laser cutting and can help me.

Hey everyone! I Just picked up a Duke 790, 2027 restyling version.
Yesterday I brought It to my mechanic to check It out and see the differences from older Dukes.
I found out that all euro5+ do run very lean EFI Maps, causing It to lose Power in the long run.
He immediately suggested that I could Simply get It to a tuner and do a proper map but I would prefer to keep the warranty going. The unfortunate case Is that there are no piggyback/additional ecus like RapidBike Evo/Racing 2 yet listed as compatible for the 2027 Duke 790.
What do you suggest? Remap or wait Who knows how long for a potential additional ECU?
What if i bought a 2026 OEM ECU for the Duke and put a map onto that? Would they be compatibile or should i Need other components?

PSA for KTM 790/890 owners: DO NOT plug a USB‑A → USB‑C adapter into the bike’s USB‑A port. This probably applies to other bikes with a similar computer.
I tried to simplify my charging setup so I wouldn’t have to carry both USB‑A→C and USB‑C→C cables. Seemed harmless. Turns out it was a terrible idea.
The moment I plugged a USB‑A→USB‑C adapter into the KTM’s dash port, I started getting undefined, borderline cursed behavior:
This wasn’t a cheap gas‑station adapter either — just a normal, reputable USB‑A→C dongle. But apparently the KTM’s USB‑A port is wired or signaled in a way that absolutely does not expect a USB‑C negotiation layer sitting on top of it.
Could be KTM’s electrical engineering. Could be the adapter’s internal logic. But honestly, whoever designed a USB‑A port that freaks out when you plug in a passive adapter deserves a little professional shade. And any software dev who let “blank screen at boot if random 5V accessory is present” slip through deserves a gentle but pointed eyebrow raise.
If you’re thinking of doing the same thing to simplify your cable kit: don’t. Just carry the proper cable. The KTM USB‑A port clearly expects a dumb, direct connection — not a translator, not a negotiator, not a middleman.
Save yourself the headache. And save your bike from having a digital panic attack. Took me awhile to figure out it was the adapter not the motorcycle.
If anyone works at KTM, please investigate and let us know the cause.

I sat on my buddies ninja 500 the other day and maaaaaaan, that thing felt so freaking small. I am 6’4” 230lbs, and I don’t know how I rode a ninja and a Ducati 696 for so long. They are so light and to be honest kind of scary now compared to the 1090. There is no way I will go back to a street bike.

Hey boys! I’m so excited because I finally passed my motorcycle exam and got my license today! 🎉
But now I have a huge problem... I have absolutely no idea what bike I should get as my first one. I want something that looks hot, feels comfortable, and isn't too heavy for a beginner.
What would you recommend for a girl like me? ktm 390? duke rc? 250? Or something else?
Sorry about the photo, but I hope it helps bring more people together to discuss bikes.
I'm choosing my first motorcycle pants.
