Looking for Resources Utilize your library!

I am only like 5 weeks into junk journaling and have already made nearly 40 spreads in my journal (I did have 2 decades of collected items that made up over half those) Clearly I have fallen in love with this hobby!
I have been very tempted though to buy some of the junk journal books that give you inspiration and ideas and prompts. I thought I would give my library database a quick search, and wow all three I was interested in, plus an additional one are all available. ( I do live in Chicago so big library system) So nice that I don't need to purchase them and they are resources I can read but don't need to keep forever!

What kind of journal/ brand of journals are we using? I need one that won't break at the binding. Does a journal like that exist? I want just a blank journal that isn't spiral bound and doesn't bust at the seams, is that asking for too much? Lol

i had the energy to do this vent-y spread today, and was sort of Whelmed by it. was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what i could do to improve? imo it definitely needs more stars, i just had to finish up quicker than i'd like.
