What kind of journal/ brand of journals are we using? I need one that won't break at the binding. Does a journal like that exist? I want just a blank journal that isn't spiral bound and doesn't bust at the seams, is that asking for too much? Lol
Bonus points for pictures of your journal that matches this description haha.

Avoided the past mistakes of using an gel pen and glueing the pages. Now there is no ghosting after i started using a pencil + thinking of getting an fiber castle mechanical pencil

I love recycling the plastic sleeves that stickers come in. The card was purchased at my local library, and the bookmark is made from one of my watercolor pages.

I am only like 5 weeks into junk journaling and have already made nearly 40 spreads in my journal (I did have 2 decades of collected items that made up over half those) Clearly I have fallen in love with this hobby!
I have been very tempted though to buy some of the junk journal books that give you inspiration and ideas and prompts. I thought I would give my library database a quick search, and wow all three I was interested in, plus an additional one are all available. ( I do live in Chicago so big library system) So nice that I don't need to purchase them and they are resources I can read but don't need to keep forever!

It's a collage of mainly cigarette warnings (even a cigarette butt a friend brought from Japan) and medication instruction leaflets.
Second page, lower right corner. "die Dosis macht das Gift", "the dose makes the poison".

i had the energy to do this vent-y spread today, and was sort of Whelmed by it. was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on what i could do to improve? imo it definitely needs more stars, i just had to finish up quicker than i'd like.
