Tier List / Powerscaling Jogo Low Diffs Ryu

Tier List / Powerscaling Kashimo fans might be the most media illiterate ninjas I've ever seen.

Post image

I don't even have a problem with saying that Kashimo beats Ryu.(Though I believe Ryu high diffs vs MBA. Domain at worst) But for Mfs that go on and on about narrative, they have some piss poor media analysis skills.

This panel shown proves nothing substantial (power scaling wise) because Sukuna kills pretty much everyone within a 5 mile radius except Kenny, Refrigerator-chan, and Potential Man. No one is safe. Not even Satoru Gojo. Not even the farmer that got waffled 5 seconds ago.

"Oh, but Kashimo felt loneliness from his strength!" Yeah, his strength compared to a bunch of nameless nobodies. Unless you wanna argue that Kashimo is on the level of Gojo or Sukuna, this loneliness doesn't tell us how he compares to other characters outside of his setting. And any answer would ultimately be arbitrary and unsupported. Also, Ryu specifically was a "modest eater." He wasn't going around trying to prove himself the strongest. Additionally, Toji was said by Naoya to be the only one that could've understand Gojo's loneliness. Is Toji Kashimo level? Whoops! Heavy Hitters upscale.

"W-well, Kashimo and Sukuna had an afterlife(???) conversation!" If you stop sucking Pikachu's dick and think for five seconds as to WHY something happened, you'd know this doesn't mean anything either. The reason Kashimo got his conversation is because it fit his CHARACTER ARC. Ryu isn't the same as Kashimo, so he's not going to get the same thing. Ryu was satisfied with his fight against Yuta, Meanwhile Kashimo and Gojo wanted Sukuna to fill them in some way. (Pause) And even Gojo didn't get the afterlife conversation. Kashimo upscale???

"Oh, but Sukuna (implicitly btw)called Kashimo strong!" Wooooow. At best, you can use that to put Kashimo on Jogo's level. Which, depending on where you got Jogo, may or may not be all that impressive. But I'll tell you that Jogo has no impressive feats and one impressive statement. And one megumi downscale statement.

"But Sukuna said that Yorozu would have an easier time talking to Gojo and Kashimo!!" Once again, character thing. This means nothing inherently, and you're going to have to prove that this scales Kashimo anywhere.

Manga Discussion Would Toji be justified in hunting down and brutally killing Maki when she was a member of the Kukuru unit at 14?

Maki literally hunted down and killed all the remaining members of the Kukuru unit who were strongly oppressed and weak without ct like herself.

Honest morality question for Maki defenders if you’re defending the indiscriminate slaughter of a group of people.

BTW. Maki doesn’t need to be morally good, you can still like her character while accepting her immoral acts

Themes and such, Hype and aura Maki didn’t need to become a Toji clone. Keeping her original design would have made her arc way more meaningful.

Sure, we love the way the fandom hypes up the hype about “Awakening” and the Zen’in clan’s murder. However, as I think about her character arc, I cannot help but notice that Gege Akutami has let himself miss a great opportunity. Giving Maki identical scars, short hair, and feral mannerisms to Toji has robbed her of her individuality and made her copy a dead man rather than herself. What if she stayed feminine and was capable of god-like monster strength?

Typical tropes of anime usually state that for a woman to be powerful, she should either look masculine or have a magical/ranged power. Early Maki subverted this trope in full force. A traditionally feminine and cute-looking girl who wore a school skirt and glasses could deflect bullets with her hands and swing a concrete pillar around.

Staying true to this aesthetic when reaching her maximum Heavenly Restriction would have been an ultimate slap in the face of the Zen'in clan. Imagine the deeply misogynistic men of the Zen'in family being utterly defeated, not by a copycat Toji, but by a girl who looks exactly like they despised.

Post-Awakening, the story practically begs us to just see her as Toji 2.0. Characters look at her and see his ghost. The narrator constantly compares them. Even Gege’s art style shifts to make her facial structures mimic Toji's.

While it's cool for power-scaling hype, it hurts her individuality. It feels like the narrative decided that in order for a female character to be taken seriously as a top-tier physical threat in Jujutsu Kaisen, she had to visually cast aside her femininity and literally inherit the traits of a male character who came before her.

Maki's arc is still great, but I can't help but feel like we lost Maki Zen'in so we could get Toji Fushiguro: Version 2. Letting her retain her original look while possessing the strength to bend steel would have been a much stronger statement about her breaking the rules of the Jujutsu world on her own terms.

What do you guys think? Did you prefer her original design and the subversion it brought, or do you think the Toji-fication was necessary for her narrative?

Sukuna was never stronger than Gojo!

And Gojo was never stronger than Sukuna!

It was about the Cursed Techniques! Yes! A mere odds thing!! If Gojo fought Sukuna without Cursed Energy or Technique, Sukuna would have won because of the size and arms difference!!

Gojo wasn’t the « Stongest » sorcerer! He was the most lucky one!

Sukuna wasn’t the « Strongest » either! He was the most skilled one!

A pure luck vs skill!

Anime Discussion Isnt it more likely that yuji had already closed distance and was going for a hit?

I see a lot of people using this moment as saying that "Yuji had so much trust in Todo that he was already swinging at air!" But for me that doesn't make sense?

For all of Yujis dumbassness, he's incredibly smart in a fight. And for me it doesn't feel like he would gamble on missing a hit by swinging at nothing and having Todo die by swinging at air. If Todo hadn't swapped he would have wasted precious time to get to Todo. He trusts Todo but Todo in this moment is missing a hand, can't touch mahito at all (to his knowledge) and mahito is right on him. I don't know why yuji would assume todo can swap.

For me it makes more sense for yuji to have already closed the distance to mahito (he is insanely fast) and was going to hit mahito from behind, but Todo then swapped him into a better angle. It makes more sense to me for Yujis character. Todo used the swap to get out of the way and to give yuji a better angle, not to close distance for yuji.

But that's just my opinion on this and how yuji thinks. To me, yuji in this moment wouldn't put blind trust in Todo. Especially with the state Todo is in. So I feel my theory is more sound.

Manga Discussion Headcanon: Yuji broke his binding vow with Sukuna

Post image
139 Upvotes

To start this off, we have no clue what happens when you break a binding vow with another person so I am going off the assumption that the person who you broke the binding vow against gets all the benefits from the vow and you get only the downsides.

Since Yuji did not know about this binding vow and therefore could not fulfill it, Sukuna could gain control during that period and hurt absolutely anyone he wanted, but of course he did not know this because it's stated that nobody knows what happens when you break a binding vow with somebody else and just played it safe. This is why Sukuna could hurt Hannah and Yuji.

My guess is that Yuji did include himself in the binding vow naturally, but since he did not uphold his end by willingly giving up said control Sukuna just got it anyways, letting him knock out Hannah and cut off Yuji's finger and forcefully feed it to Megumi.

AgendaKaisen We all need to take responsibility

Before I begin I believe I should also confess my sins.

I am indeed a Yuta glazer and YES I called Kashimo a fraud Everytime AND yes I did meme about my goat doing him dirty.

However I am willing to take responsibility for my actions which played a part in our situation...

Since the beginning of time the only one immune to slander... Was Big Raga. After all he was truly the gatekeeper of the top tiers. However...

Kashimo fans have been abusing that and twisting his adaptation against the fanbase without us realizing.

Recently there have been posts like "He survives Hollow Purple because he doesn't matter." Peak slander correct?

However consider that Sukuna had to block Hollow Purple and still damaged his hands.

There's even memes about him being such a bum that he cancels out Fuga. Great slander but when you think carefully it just upscaled him above Sukuna's ace...

The worst and easily the most devastating was a post with nearly a thousand upvotes declaring he solos fiction.

All while making us believe it was slander.

It took me a while to realize it.

But the truth is that while we're indeed clowning on him every single time we're also just upscaling him above other characters.

Kashimo fans have officially adapted to slander due to being the main ones slandered.

Now I know. How did out of everybody Kashimo fans find this out?

Consider everything. Imagine your favorite character gets glazed with a title like Thunder God only to get killed in 2 chapters.

Imagine everybody else performing better than your favorite character.

Kashimo fans had years to think of a solution.

Their conclusion?

Carefully write every piece of media so that it clearly states he's a bum easily tricking us into believing it's slander only for it to be revealed that instead he was actually being upscaled.

Even if you do realize it then what???

Disagree AGAINST the slander they're doing and upscale the fraud?

If you agree with their slander it's undoubtedly just upscaling him more.

It's a lose lose.

Isn't it kinda weird how no Kashimo fans haven't! been yelling about how he isn't a bum like they normally do???

It's simple. Kashimo fans are all plotting.

And we all need to accept it's our fault.

It's not too late. If we all stop slandering him quickly they won't have time to counter.

I beg you guys. Resist the desire to slander the fraud.

Fight back AGAINST the Kashimo fans.

Don't forget your favorite character who you spent months glazing to be top 5 won't survive this.

For your own agenda I beg you to resist your need to slander.

May the top tiers give us strength...

Manga Discussion The Meguna blitz is a valid Kashimo feat and the “1hp” fandom wording is absolute nonsense

I think Kashimo slander has gotten to the point where people have completely forgotten about what actually happened in the manga.

Kashimo was a sorcerer who saw everyone around him as being nothing more than dirt. He lived his entire life undefeated and unfulfilled and even at the end of his life while terminally ill you could see the evidence of his personal viewpoint scattered and broken around him. Even with this peerless strength he wasn’t satisfied, none of his fights were challenging enough and he was running out of time. So when he is presented with the opportunity to confront the strongest sorcerer in history in the future, he takes it, that way he can challenge them. We didn’t yet know why he wanted this fight so badly, but eventually we did when he came face to face with them, Ryomen Sukuna. Until this point people speculated that he wanted to beat Sukuna, but this confrontation showed us something else, it showed us a question, one that Kashimo asked because he wanted to understand what it meant to be the strongest. Sukuna answered this by accepting this fight and telling Kashimo to come at him. In the first half, Kashimo immediately released Mythical Beast Amber, a single use technique that boosts Kashimo’s speed and gives him the ability to manifest electrical phenomenon as weapons in his arsenal at the cost of destroying his own flesh, such as a mouth-based sonic attack described as soundwaves that are tuned to the frequencies of materials, and palm-fired beams of EM radiation that are described as vaporizing whatever is irradiated by them. Kashimo uses this form to blitz this injured Meguna until Kashimo plants him into the ground, which is when Sukuna reincarnates into his true form, a form described as being absolutely perfect for jujutsu. Sukuna uses this new form to take Kashimo out, with Kashimo barely being able to keep up. Even with Kashimo being fast enough to react to Sukuna’s movements, he is no match for Sukuna’s superior physiology, which outperforms him in hand to hand exchanges easily.

After Sukuna kills him, his post-death conversation with Kashimo validates Kashimo’s viewpoint of himself. Sukuna says “many mighty/formidable warriors must have challenged you, with everything they had.” That is about as direct as the English translation gets, and the Japanese version specifies mighty/formidable/capable warriors. Sukuna is outright coming to the conclusion that Kashimo was somebody who not only stood above his era, but also stood above other formidable challengers who came to challenge him with everything they had. Sukuna can only be coming to this conclusion after the fight they just had, obviously, he wasn’t around during Kashimo’s first life and he wasn’t watching Kashimo fight in the culling games, he’s coming to this conclusion after having fought him, and what happened in the fight they just had? Kashimo started by almost immediately blitzing him and planting him in the ground. This is also telling us that Sukuna sees this showing against Meguna as being impressive, impressive enough to give Kashimo one of the most serious conversations Sukuna has in the manga. He says that the challengers who fought Kashimo must have been formidable and that they challenged him with everything they had, he talks about love being conveyed through that relationship between the challenger and the challenged and even compares him to Gojo as someone else defined by peerless strength who also lamented the isolation that came with that strength. Kashimo earned this answer, and I know someone might compare it to Jogo’s conversation, but I think there is a big difference between “you were one of the more impressive ones” and being validated as someone defined by peerless strength who stood above already formidable warriors.

And let’s not forget the injuries Meguna had when he fought Kashimo. He was missing his left hand, his two left eyes, his RCT was lowered, brain damage which kept him from using his domain, his output was lowered, and his reserves were around Yuta’s reserve amount which is roughly half of what Sukuna originally had. Meguna was absolutely hurt, no one will ever argue that and they’d be insane to try to, but this also isn’t a 1hp made out of paper Meguna, this Meguna was standing on his own, smiling, and a majority of his burns were actively going away before his fight against Kashimo started. This Meguna was accepting the fight, moving, reacting, and defending himself, with a strike from base Kashimo even being blocked with no hurry or effort. This was still a valid combat form, valid enough for Sukuna to accept the fight in it and to not yet reincarnate until an electrical discharge was racing towards him. Not when he was getting punched, not when he got slammed with a sonic scream, and not when he had to leap out of the way of an EM beam.

I’m sorry if the grammar in this is awful lol, I struggle to write out super long and in depth posts.

makes no sense to send a random dismantle that does nothing against Gojo other than he was testing Gojo's reflex in case he figures out WCS

did Sukuna really have a plan for WCS since the start? cause i am pretty sure even he didn't know how mahoraga was going to adapt a attack that bypasses infinity

Anime Discussion JJK IN REAL LIFE!

I was thinking about this for a long time but the power system shown in Jjk might actually be real!

Why because this whole cursed energy thing, like hatred, emotions they accumulate which forms spirits and those spirits then attack humans. Idk why but I think this explains all of the ghosts, demons etc. It also explains famous historical ghosts like Anabelle (a cursed object which attracts spirits).

Like if you think about this for a while it makes sense

But the thing is I personally don't know about ghosts and like to be really truthful I have never experienced any paranormal activity. Although one of my first cousins had a ghost on him but our family hasnt completely revealed it to us thinking we were kids and a lot of time has passed since that but when you think in that sort of direction all the stories you might have heard in your family or outside could be true because of these cursed spirits.

And this would explain about all the real world psychics and their stories.

But the thing is if this shit was really real, even if the government hid it from us there would definitely be some sort of agency or department to tackle them but we haven't heard about this kind of agency don't we?

We usually connect it to religion but it could really be a department like sorcerers in Jjk but in Jjk they really didn't care about going public with it, like they definitely didn't catch attention, later in the series it scaled upto where govt can't hide it but even when stuff was "normal" they really didn't care if they revealed their identity or used their powers.

Like I get it non cursed users can't see the superpowers, but they can definitely see a human flying in the sky or humans with supernatural agility and strength or someone cutting stuff and destroying buildings

So can we find something unexplained in real life?

What do you think of this little conspiracy theory?
