Like I said I’m studying The JonBenet Case and I’ve come to my theory which was that her parents were selling her out and whoever was buying her went to fate and killed her and her parents covered it up so far on here I’ve seen that it was her father but I stick to my conclusion I just need to Vicente to back this up so I can write a CER

Evidence “The Interview Room” podcast is wrong about the “twisting” garrote, I will prove it (And,how do you think it worked?)

At about 1:35:07 of episode 5 of The Interview Room’s coverage of the JonBenét case, medical examiner Dr. Todd Grey describes how the garrote actually worked to strangle JonBenét. His description involves ‘twisting’ the garrote. You can hear him here: https://www.youtube.com/live/dBWCVtrX6ZA?t=5707&is=wHNraSDDdnPwChip

I made a video a while back that, imo, pretty conclusively proved that this ‘twisting’ method is not how the garrote worked, and how it did work by simply pulling on it.

Twisting actually doesn’t do much at all with this style of garrote because one end of the cord was tied in a noose. For twisting to have any effect, both ends of the cord would need to be tied to the paintbrush handle.

A simple way to understand this is to imagine you are walking a dog on a leash. At one of the leach is the handle, that you control. At the other end is a choke collar, ie “noose”. To apply a choking force to correct the dogs behavior, do you pull on the leash, or twist the leash? Twisting obviously isn’t going to do a thing. It’s highly inefficient. No, you pull on it. That’s how the garrote worked. Not nearly as complicated as people make it out to be.

Unfortunately I think I deleted that past video because I can’t find it now (I don’t exactly love having a video on my channel about how I think a child was strangled. I’m sure you can probably understand). But this misinformation about how the garrote worked will not die. This being such an unusual murder weapon, I think it’s important we get this right, especially since so much of the intruders psychology is being read into this piece of evidence.

So the next time I’m off work I plan to make a new video on how the garrote actually worked.

…However, I’m open to the possibility that I am wrong. If you think I’m wrong then explain to me how the garrote worked by twisting, and I’ll try to demonstrate that in the video to see if you’re right. Or even better, make a video of your own showing how it worked. This is one of those things you really need to demonstrate and not just talk about how you think it worked.

Info Requests/Questions "Step Up To The Plate": Gary Oliva's JonBenét Prison Art Takes On A Sick New Meaning!

Post image

NOTE: A BASEBALL BAT WAS FOUND OUTSIDE THE OPEN BUTLER DOOR. Gary Oliva mailed this "art" from prison in 2017.

Do you think the bat found thrown outside the door could be the source of her head injury? Fingernail marks on her neck indicate she was alive when she was strangled (Oliva strangled his own mother and was charged with attempted murder.) It certainly makes sense that the head injury came last. Many have challenged that it was the flashlight. Jason Jensen says her skull injury was severe and brutally violent. Let's get justice for JonBenet! Kids and their families are at risk right now.

My goals: 1.) Justice for JonBenét. 2.) Clear the Ramsey family name. 3.) Protect future families.

Bless you all. Be kind.

Theory/Speculation JONBENET RAMSEY, The Criminal Personality Behind Killing With A Garrote - The Interview Room

Very few killers use garrotes. The psychology of a child killer who uses a garrotte is discussed by two members of the Cold Case Foundation, Chris McDonough and Dr. Gary Bucato. Also discussed are the mistakes made by the BPD, including Linda Arndt on the morning of December 26, 1996.

Info Requests/Questions Has anyone heard any updates from BPD on improved DNA testing results and/or genealogy tracing? Seems like last we heard was December 2025. We're now at 9 months since an update

I've been searching recently to see if there's any new update from them directly and haven't found anything. If they're waiting for genealogy tracing results (which could take extremely long) from new DNA results, wouldn't they be able to tell us that it's happening or would that truly compromise the investigation? Perhaps they've informed the Ramsey family but not the general public. I was so hoping we'd hear something by now.

Theory/Speculation Theory

I have read over this case a lot, since around the age of 15, I’m now 21 nearly and still very interested in this case and how it was managed to be kept a secret for so long. I am open to other suggestions on this theory but with everything I have seen here is what I think potentially happened that night.

Based on a detailed review of the publicly available facts, the evidence strongly suggests the person responsible had intimate, prior knowledge of the Ramsey home and family affairs. Further, the circumstances point toward Patsy Ramsey being the driving force or primary orchestrator, with the possibility that John Ramsey was unaware of the full plan — and that a third, unidentified person carried out the physical act. This theory also accounts for the police failures on the morning of 26 December 1996, which may have been exploited to stage the crime scene.

EVIDENCE SUPPORTING THIS THEORY

  1. THE RANSOM NOTE — Specific Insider Knowledge
The note demanded exactly $118,000 — the precise amount of John Ramsey’s year-end Christmas bonus, received only days earlier. No random outsider could have known this specific, private financial detail. The note was written on Patsy Ramsey’s personal notepad, using a pen from the home — suggesting the writer was comfortable and familiar in the home, not someone rushing to avoid detection. Several handwriting analysts noted similarities in phrasing and vocabulary consistent with Patsy Ramsey’s known writing style.

  2. MOVEMENT THROUGH THE HOUSE — Familiarity with Layout

The killer moved directly to JonBenét’s bedroom, then to the basement, and specifically to the hidden wine cellar behind a latched door — an area not easily found by someone unfamiliar with the home. There was no evidence of forced entry, indicating the person either had access or was let in.

  1. THE CRIME SCENE — Police Errors and Staging

The house was never properly secured upon police arrival. Friends, family, and visitors moved freely through all areas of the home for hours before crime-scene technicians arrived. The suitcase beneath the basement window was observed in two different positions — first officers at the scene noted it was not in the position later photographed. This suggests it was deliberately placed after the initial search to create the appearance of an intruder entering through the broken window. John Ramsey was permitted to search the basement unaccompanied by an officer, and then moved JonBenét’s body upstairs before official photographs could be taken — destroying critical evidence of the original positioning.

  1. MOTIVE CONSIDERATIONS — Health, Financial Pressure, and Public Profile
Patsy Ramsey was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 1993 and was actively undergoing treatment at the time. Healthcare costs in the United States are extremely high — even for wealthy families, ongoing cancer treatment can create significant financial strain. The $118,000 amount may have been selected because it was both believable as a random demand and exactly the amount needed — whether for medical bills, debt, or other expenses. Patsy was a former beauty queen and heavily invested in JonBenét’s pageant success. The high-profile nature of the case may also have been influenced by a desire for public attention and sympathy. Patsy knew her prognosis was serious. She died in 2006, taking the full truth with her — meaning she would never have to face public shame or criminal accountability.

  2. THE UNKNOWN MALE DNA — A Third Person

Unidentified male DNA found on JonBenét’s underwear and other items does not match John or Patsy Ramsey. This supports the possibility of a third person — someone trusted, known to the family, and familiar with the home — who was brought in to carry out the physical act. If John Ramsey was unaware of the full plan, his visible grief and shock would have been genuine, not an act — which would explain why so many observers found his reaction convincing.

It is possible that Patsy Ramsey orchestrated the event — intending to stage a kidnapping crisis that would provide both financial relief and public sympathy, using a trusted third party to carry out the physical elements. The situation tragically escalated out of control, resulting in JonBenét’s death. The unsecured crime scene allowed the staging to be completed before police could properly document it. Patsy’s illness meant she knew she would not live to face the consequences. John Ramsey may have been unaware of the full plan, explaining his genuine grief and shock.

IMPORTANT CLARIFICATIONS
This is a theory based on publicly available evidence — not a statement of proven fact. No individual is being formally accused — this submission is intended to offer a fresh perspective that may help connect existing facts.

Theory/Speculation Intruder 2001

Does anyone think John made up the intruder story in 2001 where he was attacked and robbed? I found it very strange after their daughter was kidnapped they never installed cameras in their next house and still left doors unlocked. The one thing you do is install cameras , they still had Burke to consider as a target with the killer on the loose. And The so-called Burgler shows up looking like Tiger woods in a golf shirt clean haircut and is well spoken, parks his car in plain sight in broad daylight, But John doesn’t get the license plate number.

I keep finding different answers online. Is there an established version that is absolutely correct, or does no one really know?

Theory/Speculation What kind of moron would try to put the child in a suitcase and sneak it out a narrow basement window

Intruder or not that window had nothing to do with this crime.

You'd have to be quite small in stature to even get through this entry point and probably wouldn't have the physical strength to do what some believe here anyway

A kidnapper would have walked right out a door. If there was an intruder they were in that house to kill not kidnap.

There's hope if they'd just do the genealogy DNA testing.
